2w family stay

We are used to go in this area and Village des Pins for a while (1st stay in '98) This villa is very convenient for family. Area is quiet and very nice, with a green landscape and pools. Not too far from Ocean, Lido is our favorite. Monika gave us all information for a fast check in. Hope to come back asap

Wonderful vacation

We had the best time! The house was wonderful no complaints at all! The back porch was our favorite spot early in the morning and every night! It was so quiet an so peaceful! We will stay again!

May Stay

Although esthetically the property looks very nice online, look a little closer when you get inside. The refrigerator door has a dent in it. The stove top on the smooth top range had caked on food. No one apparently told the cleaner that you need a razor to clean caked on food on a smooth top range. A couple of the drawers in the Primary bedroom didn't even close correctly. The bed in the Primary bedroom had a board under the mattress to give it firmness. There is no garbage disposal in the kitchen which is desperately needed in FL. Some of the vertical blinds in the LR don't close. We had water pressure problems in the showers and kitchen faucet. Monika was very responsive contacting a plumber but he only fixed the showers and not the kitchen faucet. As of day of checkout she still hadn't heard back from the Plumber as to the problem with the kitchen faucet. Toilet in the guest bathroom needed holding down to flush. The handle in the main bath was very difficult to flush. Both of those issues were brought to Monika's attention but were not dealt with. Towels were very nice. Plentiful and plush. Owner really needs to do work on this property. We have been renting single family homes for over 20 years and this was the worst with so many things wrong. This was our first visit to this area as we normally stay in Bonita Springs but due to hurricane damage we stayed in Sarasota for the first time.

Close to everything u might need

Close to Tamiami Trail (US 41) and all sorts of shopping and restaurants and can still make it to Siesta Key Beach rather quickly if u wanna catch a sunset.

Nice quiet place

My wife and I enjoyed this stay. It is a nice, small duplex in a quiet neighborhood near the old Sarasota Square Mall. It is easy to get to the beaches and around Sarasota. The check-in system is easy and the manager keeps good communication. Our only recommendation is to replace the old carpet in the main bedroom. We would definitely come back in the future.

Spring training getaway

The property was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to shopping and restaurants. Ed Smith Stadium was about 30 min. away so we were able to easily attend most Spring Training games. The community pool was a nice break on off days as well as the proximity to Siesta Beach. The property manager communicated well with us and promptly addressed any concerns we had.

GREAT WEATHER AND ACCOMMODATIONS!!

We stayed from Jan.16-Feb. 28. The weather was beautiful and our place was great. We loved the walk-in tiled showers. All rooms were decorated and updated. Our king size bed was , also, as comfortable as ours at home. Because we like sunny weather, we were in the perfect spot. We were just a short bike ride to the Legacy Bike Trail and the facility also had a nice pool area. This area is off a busy area, but the complex itself is a very quiet oasis. We would, definitely, stay again and appreciated our property manager, Monika. She always got back to us quickly wihen we had questions.

Both positive and negative.

This is the 2nd year I have stayed in this property. My first year was lovely and much enjoyed. It is in a small community with a pool and clubhouse and about 4 miles from Siesta Beach. This year has been problematic due to the unforeseen Covid-19 Virus that quickly turned into a pandemic of global proportions. Initially when I checked into this villa I noted first morning there the coffee maker still had grounds in it that was covered with mold. This required some significant cleaning and placed in the dishwasher which I then discovered did not work. So I had to wash all dishes by hand first couple of days. Fortunately with assist of property manager I learned that the electric outlet supplying the dishwasher was bad. I also noted and reported to property manager that the carpets in both bedrooms were stained and needed cleaning. During my stay the Covid-19 virus continued to worsen and pool closed, clubhouse closed, and then beaches closed as well as all restaurants, Festival cancelled that I had tickets for as well as a concert at the Van Wezel. Because of this crisis I made the difficult decision to leave early and return home when I would be close to family and felt safer. The owners were very difficult to work with under the circumstances and only agreed to return a small fraction of what I paid them to stay there. So far I have not seen any reimbursement . I understand the normal policy for cancellation but this was not a normal time. Other venus that I had purchased tickets for have reimbursed at 100%. I do not recommend staying in this property and will not myself return there in the future.

One of the best rental properties thus far

We have been going to vacation in Siesta Key area for the last 9 years and we have rented property from the same owner for roughly 60% of that time. Each time we go we get a better pleasant surprise. Property was immaculate and process was smooth. Our kids didn’t want to leave. Property was clean and well designed. Beaches are minutes away as well as shopping and groceries. Neighbor is quite and beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and tennis court.

A great place to stay.

We were very impressed by the villa. It was clean and very spacious for our family of four (two children 4 & 2). The pool was warm and the weather was fantastic. The villa had everything a family could need. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys and beach towels. They also had a pack - n - play for our daughter, a high chair, booster seat and bed rails for a toddler. The kitchen was fully stocked, and parking in the garage was an added bonus.

Nice unit with some issues

The master bedroom was very nice, although the mattress was pretty soft. However, the guest room left a lot to be desired. It was too crowded with 2 beds, queen mattress was too hard, another end table was needed. That room might work well for kids but not adults. The tile floors are quite chipped, especially under the dining room table. The washing machine is extremely noisy...wasn't sure if something was wrong with it. All other appliances were very nice. The complex is lovely...nice , well-kept grounds and pool. Nice to have a screened lanai. Overall, a very nice place!

Totally satisfied!

This villa is simply lovely, and was very clean. It had wonderful things for us to use for our trips to the beach and was in a clean neighborhood. Swimming pool and other amenities were on site. Monika was polite and easy to work with, and very responsive. I have been down several years now, and this was the nicest place I've stayed in. Being close to my favorite beach (Siesta Key) didn't hurt any either :)! It also had had clear concise directions on how to keep the property up during our stay and checkout. I would love to stay here again!

Very enjoyable vacation.

We had a very nice one-week stay at this villa in early December. It is nicely furnished and equipped and we enjoyed the pool. The location was convenient for our frequent trips to restaurants and the beach. We highly recommend this property.

One of best Villas in Timberwoods

Best located Villa in Timberwoods, sunny and calm. 160 yards to pool area. Pool heated. Very well furnished. Kitchen equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Utilities, Cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet, and Phone service included in Rate. Friendly Property Manager.

Spotless and peaceful

This property was in beautiful condition, meticulously clean and organized and tastefully decorated. Properties usually look better in photos but in this case, it was even better in person. It's in a peaceful community of attached homes complete with pool and clubhouse, tennis court and an artificial turf putting green, close to a major traffic route but insulated from it and from any related noise. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils - we only had to supply the food. The bath towels were thick, soft and luxurious and the showers were large with good showerheads. The master suite was quite large and calming in feel and the living space generally was roomy and with good flow. The garage was very large for a single and easily accommodated our rental SUV with plenty of room to spare all around. The lanai was also roomy and although not entirely private, we seldom saw or heard others around us save for an owl who made nightly visits to one of the local pines! The only glitch was a cable tv issue and Monika the rental agent helped us to solve it promptly despite it being the Thanksgiving weekend. In fact, the entire rental process was very direct and easy throughout including our deposit refund which was credited only four days after our departure. Monika was very pleasant, helpful and professional in all of our contacts throughout the process. I would recommend this property enthusiastically to anyone looking for great Sarasota experience. With the beaches and downtown only minutes away, its location is convenient and off the beaten path without being in a high density traffic zone.

Clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

Convenient location (approx. 7 minute drive) to Siesta Key. Close to shopping centers, Starbucks, etc.. Pool area is perfect for kids and adults. Quiet community, very peaceful stay.
