This rental is comfortable and care free, with the bonus of a third bed/bath which is perfect for larger families. This is our second time at this property--family likes to visit Palm Desert Thanksgiving week.

Perfect Spot to Spend a Week Exploring the Coachella Valley

The property suited our needs perfectly. Three couples down to visit Palm Springs and area for the first time. Also attended Indian Wells Tennis a couple of days. The Unit was clean and tidy and plenty of room to relax, stretch out and cook a couple of meals. We also enjoyed a couple of hours by the pool on a couple of days. Pretty centrally located, we walked to the Living Desert and enjoyed our visit there, especially the Giraffes! Would come back and stay again.

We had a wonderful getaway

It was as, or better, than advertised. lovely grounds, spacious unit. well organized , well-equipped and user-friendly, convenient location. Weather was not the best...but the fabulous Desert Zoo just down the road was a perfect diversion! the only difficulty we ran into was that neither of the nearby pools was heated as described (though spas were nice and warm) and we had to call to find a pool on the property that I could swim in. management was very responsive in helping us with this.

Questionable

Didn’t end up staying although fully paid seeking refund. Not enough towels and request said we could wash them (it’s our vacation don’t want to wash), pool and hot tub not heated, crumbs in magazine holder on coffee table and refrigerators had crusty stuff on it (maybe ketchup) and no window coverings on large patio slider so whole unit activity has no privacy if desired. Overall the unit was nice but after walking thru it did not meet our expectations for the price we paid.

Good location , needs update

Robin was excellent to deal with as a property manager . The unit has good “ bones “ but would be awesome with a complete update . The end corner unit is quiet and close to the community pool , which is not heated . Three large bedrooms each had their own bathroom . Kitchen nice appliances , supplies such as pots and pans could use an overhaul. Living room comfy sectional , no blinds on sliding door to patio Table and BBQ fine When we arrived there were large stains on two of the bedroom carpets . Though not cleaned as per requested during our week long stay ( cleaners not available )Robin was able to reimburse through the owners a compensation amount . Which was appreciated. As rental property owners we are very familiar of the need of ongoing upgrades and general maintenance . In a desert rental I question why there would be carpet in any unit with the wear and tear of short term weekly rentals ? Over all a nice stay on Ironwood a lovely community .Evolve team nice to deal with

Great Location, Comfy & Very Private

Just inside the gate with a large green belt off the back patio. Close to El Paseo, Palm Desert and Indian Wells. Furniture is very comfortable. Unit was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. I would highly recommend this unit.

Lovely

Lovely refurbished unit, we needed 3 bedrooms, well managed and complete with everything, including pool toys! We have rebooked for next year.

Disappointed

This property did not match the online pictures or description at all. My understanding from the property manager when we arrived was that the property had just been sold and the new owners did not have enough time to get the property up to rental status and still had a lot of work to do on the property. This property lacked lighting in all the bedrooms and common areas, , basic things like towel racks and wastebaskets in the bathrooms, there were exposed outlets, food left in the refrigerator and pantry. This property was definitely not ready to be rented and certainly way overpriced for the current condition.

Hi Tracey, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "We just purchased the property as was mentioned in your review. We wanted to honor the existing bookings and we were on a tight timeline to turn it around between tenants. We were doing all we could to improve the property for future tenants. It did not look the same because we had to purchase a lot of new furnishings and linens that were not in the photos. Additionally the rental management company couldn't upload new photos that quickly. Everything we have done has improved the property. The reason we reached out to you directly before your stay, was to explain the situation, and to offer assistance during your stay if anything was lacking or needed. We never heard back from you after that so we were surprised and disappointed to get such a negative review. We wish you had given us a chance to help you. In regards to the refrigerator and pantry with food, we have addressed this with our cleaning team to ensure they disposed of all items left from previous tenants. We will address this again to make sure nothing like this will be overlooked in the future. We have continued to improve the property and it is now much better than when we purchased it. The property now has all new LED lighting, new ceiling fans, new bedding and towels, updated furniture, and overall a newer and more updated feel. We hope you give us another chance one day."

Ironwood Getaway

Ironwood Country Club is the perfect place for a winter getaway. It’s tucked up close to the mountains and protected from the wind. The condo had a great patio for afternoon sun and the sliding glass doors offered great views. This end unit is private and there is a large open area off the patio. All in all, we had a lovely week in Palm Desert!

Very comfortable house

We loved our stay here. The house is clean; the kitchen is very well equipped and the house is very well managed by an onsite caretaker. All the beds were comfortable and the house is a nice size to have family visit and have lots of room for everyone. The location, just a mile and a half from El Paseo in the Ironwood area is very convenient for hiking and there's lots of golf! There is a great outdoor grill and lanai and tv's in every bedroom. We have no complaints and would stay here again!

Our family enjoyed staying at this condo. Great location in Ironwood Country Club. The grounds and property were lovely. December is a wonderful time to visit.

desert calm

The unit is very private and definitely enough space for 5 adults and an infant. Albeit glass tables are never clean with the hand prints of a 14 month old! The condiments were minimal but easy to buy what we needed as the location is so very close to everything! The landscaping around the property is fantastic and the walking in and around the various streets was calming. The birds singing in the morning as we had our morning coffee on the patio was such a treat.

Ironwood retreat

We just spent 2 weeks in this delightful home. We dubbed it the "Versailles Hall of Mirrors" because of the multiple mirrors through out. The house was excellent with 3 BR and 3 BR - all master suites - for excellent privacy. Though we came as a couple we had three separate couples visit during our stay. The pool and jacuzzi in the immediate area were great and we felt no need to cross the street to the larger facility. Being separated from Portola St by only a wall did not cause any noise issues. The house was quiet and we never were bothered or even noticed any road noise. The Ironwood community was great for walking and running without fear of being run over, as there was very little traffic and that proceeded slowly and with respect for walkers. The community is gorgeous and was a very relaxing place to recharge our batteries. Sunrises in particular were spectacular. It does cool off once the sun went down, so have warmer clothes available after dark. Also, at this time of year, if you golf, you need a tee time no later than 1 PM or you may not be able to finish before it gets too dark.
