This Desert jewel, spanish hacienda is located just a couple blocks from the famous street El Paseo in Palm Desert.
The home (2,000 sq/ft) sits on a corner lot over 13,500 sq/ft with total privacy, surrounded by pepper, jacaranda, olive trees and palm trees. The pool/spa and the outdoor gazebo dominate the charm of the property.

The living room with vaulted celling and beams features a large sofa, an armchair and ottoman around a rock fireplace.
This spacious room opens up to an amazing backyard from its french doors and also offers an incredible view of the mountains.

Master bedroom suite:
King-size bed, ceiling fan, pool view from one side and a private french door from the other side takes you to a private patio area.
If you don't want to be in bed to watch TV, you can always enjoy the love seat. Private bathroom with a walk-in closet follows the master suite.

Bedroom 2:
Very large bedroom with 2 queen size beds, ceiling fan, 2 large closets and HDTV.
The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom.

Gazebo area:
Featuring a built-in stainless steel gas grill, mini fridge & wet bar.

We love this property and have returned many times. Location is excellent. Property Manager is very responsive. Pool and grounds are well maintained by contractors.

Winter Get Away

The outdoor space of this property is phenomenal and very well kept. Felipe kept the pool in pristine condition even coming back after a wind storm to do an extra pool cleaning.

Oasis in Palm Desert

Delightful property, responsive host, my elderly parents needed a place near family for six weeks. The property manager was very responsive to their safety issues, purchasing and sizing a carpet for the master suite and installing a rail for their use.

Perfect place in every way

The Hacienda was a perfect home in a perfect location. The house is a spacious 2 bedroom with good privacy for 2 couples or a family. The home is well stocked with everything you would need from towels to plates. While the house is great, the grounds are what set it apart. The pool and outdoor space in the backyard are a true resort setting with a great outdoor kitchen and fire pit. Additionally the front has a private space that is well landscaped. Our dog was comfy and happy which made the stay even more special. We will be back!

OUTSTANDING! WELCOMING! LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

The first two words that come to mind describing this property, location, dealing with the owner, and overall experience is ABSOLUTLEY EXCEPTIONAL!!! The property is well stocked for an extended stay (we stayed 55 days), had no issues with anything. The grounds are well kept by the lawn crew, the pool is maintained by a very kind gentleman, and the one time we had to call the property manager for a minor question he answered and resolve our question right away. Top notch service. The mattresses, sheets, pillows are all extremely comfortable. The technology (internet, TV, oven, fridge, washer, BBQ etc.) worked great. In short, we found this property and dealing with the owner extremely welcoming and relaxing and we would strongly recommend the property. We cannot wait to come back! Thanks Thierry!

Exceptional house with an exceptional host!

This house was an absolute dream for a few months! The views of the mountains from the pool deck offered terrific sunsets, the outside area offered multiple unique sitting areas with all the luxuries that one could ask for for the outdoor living experience. The house was fully equipped with essentially everything you can imagine for a very comfortable stay— everything high quality and clearly designed with attention to detail. This house was fantastic and for anything we’d ever need, Thiery was responsive and eager to help! The best host we could ask for!

Another great stay

We have returned! This time with our fur family. The house and property were just as good this time. The house manager is very attentive. The location is spot on for hiking and shopping. We will be back.

Great place

Awesome stay at The Hacienda! Very clean and had everything we needed and everything was high quality down to swell bottles! The backyard was huge and private and it was great to be able to bring dogs with us! Pool was great very clean and had rafts and a swan. The bbq area was awesome! We definitely will go back to this house!!

Great House, Amazing Property.

The property is amazing! The pool is great, there is total privacy, and the house is very accommodating and well payed out. We had a brief issue with the AC but the property manager was extremely responsive and we resolved the issue quickly. We will definitely being staying here again.

Great private property

This house is in the perfect area to discover palm desert. We loved being close to all the good restaurants and stores, yet able to return to our private backyard fire pit after was the best! 5 minute drive to great hiking! We felt safe and secure. We would rent this home again.

Acceptable venue but expensive

The location was fantastic and the pool and hot tub was clean and easily maintained temperature. The house was clean and sufficiently and generously equipped with towels and basic necessities. Otherwise, much of the interior was tired and borderline non-operable. The linens and bedspreads were worn and inexpensive. The master bed mattress was very uneven and uncomfortable. I’m not sure if the frame is broken or the mattress has failed, but anyone changing the bed should have easily caught this issue. There’s a broken window, one of the two sets of keys barely work (takes repeated jiggling in locks to work), the tv in one bedroom doesn’t change channels, the tv remote in the living room barely operates (sticky/old/not sure), the vent in the second bedroom does not have airflow leaving a very inconsistent temperature and in one shower the head had half the water squirting out of the back. It simply wasn’t worth the money and I’m posting this because the other reviews were far too kind. Yes, it’s a nice house, but it and it’s furnishings are not maintained. We could have stayed in two rooms at the brand new Autograph Hotel El Paseo hotel a block away for less money but we opted for a house. We both regretted our decision.

We loved it for the few days 'but'...not quite what we were looking for.

It's our 10th year visiting 'the Desert'. We wanted to try something different. The house is lovely but like we learnt 'it's more a short stay or party house'. The outside area by the pool is magnificent... too hot around the house patio and no place to lunch etc. The 'gazebo' next to the pool is more ideal. The inside is not for 'spending lots of relaxing time' due to space and furniture. Although it SLEEPS 6 there are only two bedrooms. The main bedroom I personally found the curtains very flimsy, a lot of light was getting in. The ventilation was not the greatest as we like to sleep with open doors/windows and leave the AC/fans off. It was a good try for us!

PERFECT!

Thierry's home was perfect! Sometimes you see homes and question if the camera used good angles or if you'll get exactly what's pictured but we were blown away! The backyard was phenomenal. We rarely used the interior because the pool/patio were that great! It truly was amazing. Thierry was also great and helpful in working with us since we happened to be booking while out of the country. Not a single complaint other than that we had to leave!

This is a wonderful place to enjoy the vistas, weather and desert life.

We really enjoyed the hacienda. The views are spectacular, the location is perfect for walking to El Paseo for lots of restaurant choices for happy hour. It is well equipped with every item needed for a perfect holiday. It's layout is perfect to relax and enjoy the desert life. I would highly recommend this home.

Great vacation rental!

After 10 months of non stop sports with my kids, my wife and I needed to get away for some much needed rest and relaxation, but more importantly, to be able to reconnect as a family unit. We brought up the idea to our kids of renting a house with a pool in Palm Desert. Their only wish was to bring our dogs. Luckily my wife found this property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Patrick, the property manager. Patrick was very nice and gave us a detailed tour of the property. The Hacienda is located on a private corner lot. The home is very comfortable and is well equipped with all the necessities needed. The back yard is amazing! Our kids spent all day in the pool which allowed me to take long naps (something I really miss). We enjoyed the BBQ and outdoor dining. I was able to BBQ and sip on a few cold beers while my family laughed played. The lighting of the front and back yards made the night my favorite time of our stay. The pet friendly property is secure, which allowed us to let our 2 dogs enjoy the back yard and front yard space equally. We've rented homes in Palm Springs and Palm Desert in the past. Now that we found this gem of a vacation rental, I'm sure my family will be back in the future. Thank you Terry and Patrick!

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

My friends and I came for the weekend and had a great time. The house is just as nice as advertised. We all really enjoyed the backyard cabana area. Inside of the house is extremely clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

very comfortable and great location

It took us a while to figure out a few things… the coffee pot, the air conditioning, and the TV, but once that was done, it was great. It would be nice to have a binder with instructions for how these work. Also there were no close tennis courts, and the public courts were full at all times. But it was hot, so tennis wasn't a priority. If I were to go back I would want to know where we could play tennis. Nice property though. Very relaxing week.

Great holiday!

Great place to rent! The backyard is huge and is the most amazing space! Loved the bar/barbecue area and the pool is huge! House is very comfortable with everything you need. Process of booking and check in was smooth. Would definitely rent this again!

Stunning backyard!

My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful home for nine days and had an amazing time. Patrick was great explaining everything and showing us around when we arrived & when we had any minor issues, he took care of it right away. The property is in a great location walking distance to El Paseo Drive & all the great shopping & restaurants are minutes away . The home is well-equipped with everything that you may need in a home away from home . Even has Sonos system for those who enjoy playing music inside and out . Beds are very comfortable . We enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub and outdoor eating as well as the fire pit. Love the fact that the house is situated on a south facing backyard for ultimate sunshine in winter months . Would rent this property again with no hesitation.
