The exquisite great room boasts vaulted ceilings, wood flooring, gas fireplace, and a wall of windows aimed at the magnificent distant view. Three bedrooms are on the main floor (with a Cal King in the primary) while the fourth (teen room) is located downstairs through the garage with its own full bathroom. Also downstairs is a large rec room with a bar, gas log fireplace, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, and darts. Other entertainment amenities include games, 4 TV's, cable, DVD player, and WiFi. Stay comfortable year-round with forced air heat and central A/C. The spacious covered deck with gas BBQ has plenty of room for al fresco dining. The attached 2-car garage and large, easy-access paved driveway provide ample parking. You'll also enjoy member privileges at the Blue Lake Springs rec center (guest fees apply). Maximum 12 guests, no pets, and no smoking.Sheets and towels now included! THIS IS A STRICT NO PET CABIN, ANY EVIDENCE OF PETS FOUND IN OR AROUND THE CABIN WILL RESULT IN A $500 FINE PER DOG PER NIGHT, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Would definitely stay again!

We have a large family, the house was large enough to have plenty of space so we all could enjoy. The kids had a blast in the game room, adults enjoyed the deck area. Beds/Bedding/towels were enough. We'd definitely stay again!

Great time by all!

Our stay at Martin Ridge was great this past weekend. The cabin offered plenty of fun with the terrific game room downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner. Lunch was spent at The Snowshoe Brewery, which is less than 5 minutes away. The deck area out back offered us plenty of space to relax in Adirondack chairs ( a couple were missing a slat or two, no big deal ) while taking in the great view. Maybe one safety issue that we noticed is a rail was out of the deck fencing and just laying down on the deck. Not an issue unless you had a young child there. We didn't. Not much to downgrade on overall. Just a couple of minor things. We couldn't get the gas fireplace downstairs in the game room to work. When we called the property management group, they didn't know how to either. The upstairs gas fireplace was awesome. It was run by remote control. Not sure if the downstairs one was too. Once we started moving around down there, it warmed up by our own body heat. No big deal except when one of our group members went to sleep down there at night in the fold out couch. He said it was pretty chilly. The Master Bedroom was super nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beyond nice ( the toilet handle was just a little loose. It felt like it was going to come off). Minor problem. The second bathroom was nice as well. The fourth bedroom (which had its own bathroom) was a little odd as you had to get to it by either going through the garage or from a separate entrance from outside. Very secluded and a little cold but If you needed a room for someone who goes to bed earlier than the rest of your group, this is perfect. We had that person. There was a grocery store super close that was very close to the cabin. It had everything we needed to supply meals for our trip. Great entertaining area upstairs with a lovely, large table that easily sat 8. Our group of 8 watched football Saturday night on the big screen TV ( The downstairs game room also has 2 big screen TV's). There was plenty of room for all of us to sit on the comfortable couches and chair. Overall, it's hard to downgrade this place on anything other than a few minor cosmetic issues or inconveniences. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely go again! Thanks, Martin Ridge!

Great Family Getaway

My sister, cousin and our families rented this spacious and lovely home for a holiday weekend and we were 100% satisfied. The house is well kept and clean and offers so much to do for young children. The game room was the best feature for our 6 young kids who never came up out of the game room except for meals! We were close enough to enjoy a trip to Murphy's as well as Calaveras State Park. The property management company that we dealt with was superior! Look forward to our next visit.

There are just no words!!

This home is breathtaking! The kitchen is so well stocked with kitchen supplies, it has everything you might need. The overall style of the cabin is well thought out. Everything looked so well put together. We rented this cabin for our small number of guests at our destination elopement, and enjoying breakfast on the deck alone the morning of our wedding before things got hectic is such a beautiful memory, we'll always look back on fondly. We even did our reception out on the deck that evening. We didn't want to leave! About a 10-15 minute drive to Big Trees, and 20 from Murphys. We had a question on how to operate the jetted tub in the master bath and called the rental agent. She wasn't sure herself, but contacted the owner to ask for us, and the cheerful owner called us back personally within the hour. I can't express the beauty of this home in words, and honestly, the pictures don't do it justice! Such a warm inviting place :) We intend to come back to this cabin and spend our anniversaries here every few years.
