UPDATE-due to hurricane Ian our condo was extensively damaged and is not available to rent . Unfortunately we don’t know what the future will be for the Kona Beach club. We would like to thank all of our guests who have visited over the years.
It is our pleasure to welcome you our cozy, luxurious one bedroom retreat, right on the Gulf of Mexico! Endless gulf views, calming breezes, dolphins swimming by, and the rhythm of the waves await your arrival. The Polynesian/island decor features a bamboo poster bed, organic natural rubber mattress with adjustable base, full Simmons futon mattress in living room, fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, natural shellstone tile throughout, two televisions- 43 inch smart tv in living room and smaller one in bedroom.
Steps down from the condo you will have easy access to the white sand beach, and beautiful pool area- no elevator to wait for!

Here is your fun 'To DO' list while vacationing here:
shelling, dolphin watching, fishing at the nearby pier, discovering the local waterfront eateries, take the trolley to town, visit Sanibel/Captiva just fifteen minutes away, take a stroll (just a block away!) to The Pink Shell Resort and Spa. There you can have lunch at one of their 2 island themed open-air restaurants serving fresh seafood with a view of the Gulf, your favorite tropical drink at Bongo's pool-side bar, Starbucks Coffee, or to The Aquagene Spa for pampering. (due to Covid use of those facilities might be limited please call in advance)There is also a beach sports hut for rentals of jet skis, kayaks, boat rentals, parasailing, and boat excursions to view the dolphins- All open to the public! Included in your rental are starter supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent and soap. We also provide beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella. Do not miss this great condominium for your next vacation! You are sure to have a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat.

We planned this trip months in advance for my 60th Birthday. Although the location was absolutely perfect, this rental is outdated and the check in was awful. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm, per the CONTRACT, We arrived at 420 and it was still being cleaned!!! I tried for 90mins to get ahold of the owner with no luck. We left to get supplies for the week when she finally called and said it was ready. At this point it was 2hrs past our check in time and we had been traveling for more then 12hrs. Frustrating to say the least. The condo/apartment is in a perfect location, but the condo itself was so outdated. The door was from an old grocery store with no screen door. The curtains that cover the front door window area were held up with a cheap rod that was flimsy and barely held them up and we had to find pepper clips to close the gaps so as not to let light out at night, due to turtle season. There was absolutely NO CLOSET SPACE. The closets were so jam packed with supplies and junk toy couldn't hang up your clothes or put your luggage away we landed up hanging our clothes from the bed posters. The furniture in the living room was dated and worn. The kitchen supplies were so missed matched we had to scrounge to find what we needed. The air conditioning was loud and old. When we looked at the other units in the compound, they all had been replaced with efficiency ones. Our friends stayed at the same complex in a different unit, and it was crazy how beautiful the other place was compared to what we had. And it was cheaper!!!! We were also promised a $50 dollar refund for the check in complications, and have yet to receive it and the owner ignoring my email. Think twice!!!

Perfect for young family of 4

This is a gem of a place for a young family of 4. The location is great and we also made use of the pool, laundry facility, beach chairs/umbrella, and beach towels. The kitchen met our needs and our boys (5 and 8) shared the pull out futon. We had a great time in this cozy place on the beach!

Lovely Location

Checkin was easy, Location was PERFECT. When we arrived, we had no water. The owner responded quickly, and water was turned on BUT no hot water! I texted owner, and did not get a response until 8.5 hrs later. Thank God we did not have anywhere special we had to be. My boyfriend found that the hot water tank was turned off and fixed it himself after 9 hrs. The condo really needs updated. The "couch" is like outdoor furniture and VERY uncomfortable- as is the bed. The chair only reclines so far and very uncomfortable. No dishwasher and absolutely no counter space to dry your dishes. The stove is old and burners are uneven. The lights flicker when you try and dim them. The front window screen is popping out and doesn't lock. It does have adequate pots/pans/silverware/steak knives, etc... The Condo next to us is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous decor. I think this place could use many, many updates- but you cannot beat the location. The pool was very clean and inviting and if you love shells, this part of the beach has a ton of shells to collect. The sunsets were the highlight of our evening with the perfect view. We would visit again, but we would choose another unit.

Amazing stay

The wife and I came down from Indiana for a quick get away. The property was well taken care of and the room was amazing. The people were even better. We loved our stay and will absolute be returning!

Location, Location, Location

It doesn’t get any better than this!! The gorgeous direct beachfront access with pool just steps from the door makes this the perfect location! Located on the north end of Ft Myers beach only 1/2 mile from Times Square makes it a quick walk, but it’s far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Definitely the better side of the island! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and planning on returning again next year!

Get away

Very nice place to stay, close to times square just a short walk. It was nice to be able to not have to wait in the long line of traffic since you turn right as soon as you come off the bridge.. We would definitely stay again.

Ft Myers Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Kona Beach Club and was very impressed with the cleanliness, location, and tenants. However, we were very disappointed in our condo. It is in dire need of an updating and facelift. The futon (as the couch), recliner and bed were all very uncomfortable. The ceiling fan is very low and my husband had to duck under it each time he got up from the futon/couch. The unit has an overall rundown appearance. We checked other units similar to ours and all were in much better condition and more updated than the one we rented. We paid a hefty rental fee and do not feel this unit came anywhere near our expectations. We would definitely go back but not to this unit in its current state.

Definitely needs some upkeep/repairs

The location was the best part of this property, I was under the impression it was located on the ground floor, it's on the second level. I thought we were in Sanibell Island and we were off Estrella Island. The bed sheets/comforter looked like they had been there since the 80's, as well as the shower curtain. It had old light switches that had broken off over time, so there were just sharp prongs sticking out of the wall in the bedroom, so with a king four posted bed placed in a very small bedroom, you had to squeeze between the end post and the wall, so this switch scraped my husband's arm several times during the stay to the point he was bleeding and had a fairly deep gash from the owners nit properly taking care of the repairs needed there. No central air, only a wall unit, no ice maker just very old broken ice trays that did not hold much water. Many very in inexpensive ways this property could have been presented much better but no one taking the time to do it. The papers on the table for check in info were out dated with old info on wifi password ect.... fake plants with dust all over them, a fan we needed to blow cooler air into the bedroom since the wall unit did not face the BR. covered in dust, would never have turned that on, so had to go buy a fan and leave it. So I was not thrilled with the ckeanliness, working condition of the place, furniture/bed uncomfortable. Wish I would have spent a little more and stayed elsewhere. Left a day early!

A quiet gem on FMB

No complaints here…a perfect quiet spot on a quiet beach. Best part is watching the sunset on the patio! Pool is great and just a few blocks from shopping!

It doesn't get any more beachfront than this!

Lisa, the property owner, has thought of everything here. Need a beach chair, a towel, cornhole boards, she has it all. This unit sits directly ocean front and a short walk down the steps to the pool. The only way you can get closer to the beach and the ocean is an inflatable raft. Easy 10 minute walk to times square with sidewalks each direction. 7-11 is about halfway down on your way. Quiet neighborhood and not overly commercialized. The unit itself is big enough for a couple but not more than that. The air conditioner doesn't really get back to the bedroom but you can improvvisamente the airflow with a fan that is provided. Laundry is free, parking is free and included an assigned spot which I thought was a bonus. 5 stars all around.

Such a Lovely Stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Kona Beach Club. The condo itself was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. Our host, Lisa, was so easy to reach and speak to. We were able to touch base before our trip and get answers to any questions we had and get great recommendations. It just so happened that a tropical storm was going to pass during our time in Ft. Myers, and Lisa made sure that we were prepared with the necessary supplies. She even had household supplies that were needed delivered via Amazon while we were there! The views are spectacular. Easy walk to any of the beach restaurants and shops either along the street or down the beach. The Sun Deck at Lani Kai has the best Happy Hour specials 4-7p, food and drinks! Will definitely let our friends and family know about this lovely Ft. Myers gem for their future trips and we'll certainly be back. Thanks for everything Lisa!

Million Dollar View at a great Value!

What a great treasure to find! Spent five glorious days at this little gem! The property is ultra clean and exactly as described in the listing. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lisa, the owner, was kind and a valuable resource as we were planning and traveling on the tail end of Tropical Storm Fred. She made the process easy and even gave us her favorite places to eat on the island! Tremendous food awaits all who visit the Kona! The area seemed very safe and just far enough away from any hustle and bustle. The king bed in the property is probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a rental unit! The pool is very nice and so easily accessible. Speaking of access—you just couldn’t get any closer to the actual beach! Literally step off the pool deck and you are ON THE SAND! But. For all of that, the very best part of this rental is the balcony with absolutely mesmerizing views of the exquisite Gulf sunsets. I spent much of my trip on that balcony just taking it all in. A truly million dollar view! Highly recommended!

Hidden paradise

Wow!! This is a hidden slice of heaven! It far exceeded our expectations. The views are stunning, the accommodations perfect! Lisa was absolutely wonderful! She checked on us numerous times during our stay. This spot is amazing, you will not be disappointed!

Best Location

Our stay here was wonderful! The location and ocean view of this place cannot be beat. It was in a quiet and less crowded area. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, and the host responded quickly to our questions and requests. We will be back!

Great Location!

This condo is in a great location. Close to everything. It’s a small complex, so it was never crowded. Many times we were the only ones at the pool. The beach was not crowded by any means. It was so wonderful to be able to walk right out to the beach and pool.

Literally a 30 second walk until your feet are in the ocean

It was a perfect getaway. If you like a view, this is the jackpot. No obstructions, all you see is ocean for miles. We used the community loungers (readily available) and sat on the beach all day. No need to pack heavy for your beach day. Condo is so close, we packed a small cooler and a beach bag. We just walked back to the condo for anything else we needed. Condo also had beach chairs and an umbrella available for our use. We also liked the fact this area of the beach is not crowded. It's far enough down from public access that only people staying in condo's nearby use this area. Sunsets were beautiful every night. Condo is small but efficient. Comfortable bed and couch. Property owner touched base numerous times to make sure we were good. TIP: I had no idea how great the location was when booking. It's a bit of a walk, but easy to walk into the hustle and bustle of Fort Myers, but that avoided the hassle and cost to park.

Beautiful Place!

Lisa (owner) let us check in a day early because it was vacant. The unit was clean, had an excellent beach view with gorgeous sunsets. We saw dolphins every morning and a manatee with her baby. Unit is equipped with anything you want as far as dishes, pots, pans, coffee makers, towels, beach chairs & umbrellas. I would highly recommend staying here.

A hidden gem

My wife’s 2nd stay at this property. Owner contacted us shortly after we arrived to ensure everything was ok and if we needed anything. When we arrived the condo was extremely clean and everything was in order. We really liked the addition of the high chairs in the balcony. 2 days into our 10 day stay, the housekeeper stopped and dropped of some shampoo and soap and apologized for not leaving it. She was very nice and again wanted to know if we needed anything. We can’t find anything wrong with the condo. If you want rest and relaxation this is the condo for you. You pretty much have as much space as you want, as the condo complex is a smaller complex. Would highly recommend this condo for anyone who wants to have a great relaxing week. The daily watching of the dolphins passing by added to the enjoyment. Another note, everyone we meant that has stayed at the condo complex was extremely well mannered and enjoyable to be around. Will definitely be back. Thank you Lisa for allowing us to use your condo.

perfect beachfront property

You can not beat the location of this property, my wife and I woke up and literally rolled onto the beach. We were minutes from the hubbub of times square but far enough that you were not bothered by the crowds. This property is a very quaint beachfront condo but it is a little cramped. the bedroom furniture in our opinion was too big for the space. the owner was spectacular in dealing with some minor issues and this condo has everything you could want . The kitchen is loaded with utensils and my wife graciously cooked breakfast everyday. We will definitely be going back. Ft Meyers beach is great and the weather was perfect!
