We are a small, clean, 'Old Florida' business located directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico.

This unit is comfortable and priced to allow the average person a chance to spend quality vacation time on our beautiful wide sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! We are located on the free trolley line, and close to bicycle rentals and nature preserves. Please contact us for rental availability.

Lynette had everything we needed. Small and cozy , only one window air-conditioning unit, but it kept the place quite cool. parking was a little tight getting in and out, but we were able to manage.

Perfect for a family

Great stay

Our stay at Almost Beach Apartments, was amazing! From booking, check in and check out. Lynne met us to get us checked in. The apartment was just what we were looking for. The beach is feet from the front door! We had our own driveway, patio and front porch. Lynne was a wealth of knowledge about the island! The apartment, was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I enjoyed seeing Lynne out during our stay, talking to her was nice! We will definitely be back for our girls trip next year!

Family get away

My family stayed at this apartment during our first get away in years. Everything was fantastic! From the location to the owner; we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We definitely plan on making another trip and staying here again.

Quaint stay in an unbeatable location!

We had such a memorable experience here. The place is quaint and full of character, and you truly can’t beat the location—it feels like you’re tucked into your own little pocket of nature, surrounded by wildlife. We saw all kinds of birds and creatures during our stay, which made it feel even more special.Given the lush vegetation, it’s important to be mindful about keeping doors shut so nothing sneaks in—but that’s part of the charm of staying close to nature! For the price, it was absolutely amazing.Lynne, the owner who lives on-site, is a gem. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we loved learning about her work rescuing special needs birds. You can tell she genuinely cares about the space and the people who visit.If you’re looking for a peaceful place to sleep while you explore the area, this is it. After all, you’re not supposed to spend your whole vacation in your room anyway! We’d definitely stay here again.

Steps to the Sand

Property was as described. Clean sheets, beach chairs available, was to the beach in 30 seconds. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for affordability a few steps from the beach.

Great Location

This was a fun relaxing girls weekend. Lynne the host was very nice. She met us at the property and gave us a quick overview of the home and the area. The house is directly across the street from the beach entrance and a short drive to some beach restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay.

Classic Beach Pad

The location was great...right across from a beautiful beach and close to places we liked to go. I use to live there in the area. It's not fancy, but adequate, depending on your desires for a beach vaca. It was like revisiting time actually! Glad I got to know the owner! Thank you Lynn!

It’s a great location and Lynne is a great host!

It is a little dated but it had everything we needed. The beach is literally steps away. Lynne was there to greet us(with one of her parrots :) )She had great recommendations for where to go. Thanks Lynne!

We loved our stay!

Our host was fantastic and we had a wonderful time in Florida. This property was conveniently located near the beach and the Anna Maria Island trolley stop. We had everything we needed for our stay, including beach equipment and chairs. Parking was also convenient. The listing was just as described and we loved talking with our host Lynn!! Thank you so much!

Clean, attractive, convenient and great location

I've stayed at Almost Beach Apartments quite a few times over the years and plan on many more trips. It's clean, attractive, has everything you could possibly need and at a very reasonable price. It's a short walk to the beach and also located on the trolley line so getting anywhere is easy with or without a car. The owner is on premises and available for any questions and has taken a lot of care to make every stay there special.

Older but very clean and affordable 2 bedroom apartment right across the street from the beach. Lynne was welcoming us and very friendly and informative! The apartment had everything we needed. We had bad luck with the "red tide" but had a great stay after all and hope to be back once red tide will be gone.

Convenient Location

Other than a kind of odd check-in, our stay was excellent. Only steps to the uncrowded beach, 1.5 miles from Fishing Charter marina pick-up. Facilities had all you could need and we had a great week. A comfortable walk to the Ana Maria Island Pier and lots of restaurants & entertainment. Would recommend.

Nice little apartment

Everything was great and it was perfect for having a place to lay your head. Only complaint I have is that there is only one a/c window unit and the bedrooms get kind of hot. Other than that everything else was nice
