We are a small, clean, 'Old Florida' business located directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico.

This unit is comfortable and priced to allow the average person a chance to spend quality vacation time on our beautiful wide sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! We are located on the free trolley line, and close to bicycle rentals and nature preserves. Please contact us for rental availability.

Almost Beach, more like almost Heaven!

Myself and two friends had a great three night stay in Lynne's home! The place was exactly what we needed! It was steps from the beach, there was all sorts of beach gear for us to use, and Lynne was more than accommodating! My favorite part was getting to visit her birds! They are beautiful and you can tell she puts a lot of time and love into each one! We really appreciated the privacy and shade on the porch that was provided by the trees and greenery.. and did I mention that we were only steps from the beach?! We would most certainly stay at Lynne's place again! She was a phenomenal host!!

Location was perfect. Unit is very basic, small, and dated but was priced and advertised accordingly. Was perfect for our short stay.

A lovely, quaint, very old school Florida feeling place to stay. Owner is reasonable with her directions, communicable, and not at all overbearing. Overall a great time!

Family vacation 2nd time staying there

It a no frills and laces place It’s a down home close to beach front get away all the beds are very comfy Your about 300 steps but not more than 1000 steps to be in the ocean So that make it well worth the stay there Lynne the owner is very sweet Thank you Linda Nash

We enjoyed our little getaway! The property is very well maintained. The property owner was very nice and responded quickley if we needed her. Very nicely located and quiet. Was the perfect spot for our staycation. Definitely look forward to coming back

Old time charm

Small quaint apartment nestled directly across from the beach. Location was perfect ! The owner is onsite and was so friendly. No pool but who needs one when you’re across from the ocean. One piece of advice I can is to bring a mattress topper with you , the queen bed was super hard. But my preference. The apartment has towels , dishes , beach chairs and some beach toys. If you want luxury and modern this isn’t for you. It’s an affordable 90’s charmer. Ask the owner to show you her beautiful birds.

Unique Beach Get Away

Lynne was fantastic and very honest about the property and the rules. This are rustic Old Florida Style apartments and they are tucked away in privacy, protected by beautiful bushes. The entrance to the beach is across the street and the trolley pick up is just a few steps away. I would most definitely stay here again!

Vacation 2023

Nice location. Perfect if it is just 2 people. Said 2 bedroom. One had no door on it so there was no privacy. The bathroom was in the other bedroom. Agian no privacy. I would stay there again if it is just my husband and myself.

Wouldn’t recommend

The property to park a vehicle was very tight, could have gotten into a car accident wouldn’t recommend a car. The owner was rude to begin with. Was sassy and just not pleasant. The shower head broke. The floors were so dirty. Blankets and pillows had hair and was dirty. oven was dirty. The bathroom was dirty with mold on the counter on bottom. I wouldn’t 100% recommend unless this is something you are looking for.

Filthy

This was the most filthy place I have ever stayed in my lifetime. I had to go buy cleaning products to clean the place. There were food spots on the table, food on the sofas, The toilet was gross, and there was vomit under one of the sofas (thought it was a coke spill until I started mopping it up). I swept up a dustpan of dirt when I got there. The baseboards had years of dirt on them. The ants were out of control. I can tell you this, I should not have a cleaning fee, since I left the place in much better shape than when we arrived. This was my first VBRO experience, and it might just be my last. I have pictures if you need proof.

Not for the faint of heart

Good points are: great location, beds were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Good shower temperature and water pressure. Bad points: Old filthy living room furniture, old dirty cooking and eating equipment. One pot had mouse droppings. Dirty shower, kitchen, floors. Dusty too. The timer on the 70s era stove kept going off in the middle of the night. Two dead palmettos belly- up. Only one usable beach chair. No beach towels and the bath towels are ready for the rag bag. It was okay for us because we just used it to sleep and shower. We didn’t cook or hang out there. I would never bring a family with young kids, but if you are okay with funky you will be fine.

Economic place to enjoy everything on AMI

The property manager met us at check in and went over the expectations as a tenant. The bathroom light was out and she fixed within minutes.( much appreciated). This was a perfect location(accross from beach). The place was clean and very affordable. If your looking for something “boujie”, this is not the place for you. This is a practical place to stay to provide you with a place to cook and sleep while you enjoy your vacation. We cooked breakfast and dinner and took lunch meat sandwiches with us for lunch. She also had many beach accessories we didn’t expect (ex umbrella, chairs, snorkel mask, sand toys, floaters, beach towel rack). Laundry site available after 2pm but we did not use. This was the perfect place for our family of four and can’t wait to return. Thank you Lynn for keeping your properties affordable! We also enjoyed meeting your bird.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience paid for at a high price! This sums up everything we have to say. The place is extremely neglected, in terrible general condition, and has a bad smell. It seems as if time stood still and the owner didn't notice. As a recommendation, it would be wonderful if she invested some money into remodeling. It's also necessary to say that her position as a host leaves much to be desired; very poor communication with guests, manifesting a poorly acquired and unprofessional position of power. We don't understand how Vrbo allows her the license to rent such a horrible little house. We were so disappointed that we didn't stay there for more than five minutes and didn't even unload our luggage, driving four hours back to our home, our dreams of a vacation planned six months in advance for our children shattered. It's important to clarify that she told us there was a harmless snake lurking around the house every day, which was normal for her family, obviously not for ours, in addition to unpleasant insects. Who enjoys family vacations in these conditions? We asked that VRBO visit the property for an inspection so they understand our annoyance and take immediate action to ensure other families don't suffer this experience. We have extensive experience with this type of vacation and have never suffered such a disappointment before. The owner lives on the same horrendous property, with impossible-to-disguise dirt and mess. She disregarded our time and value as people ....

Amazing Stay Next to the Beach!

Laid back, tropical, and old Florida feel property. Lynne made the experience perfect and made sure we had anything we requested! We were able to relax and had all the amenities we needed. Steps away from the beach and trolley stops so I didn't bring a car and it made it all the more enjoyable. I can't wait to go back. Thank you again Lynne!

Unhappy

Owner hurt herself 24 hrs. Before we checked in. Pictures of property were at least 16 yrs. Old. Terrible landscaping. Filth under all furniture, we had to buy sheets, umbrella for outside table due to mold. Rats outside. When I confronted owner she said she does her deep cleaning one time a year. She doesn’t hire no help. I bought rat poison boxes and had to pick up 4 dead rats. Almost called health department. Old towels. Soiled old furniture. Had to by blankets to cover. She should care more about her renters and update property and hire help.

Excellent Getaway

Lynn is a awesome host. This was the second time staying here and the place is nice and in a great location close to the beach. Lynn has great communication with you and make sure you have what you need. Excellent place to get away from it all knowing you will have everything to enjoy vacation.
