Relaxed Quiet Private Get Away

Winter Season Update: The month of April 2026 is available.
My long-time repeat guest is not able to return. So, this is an opportunity to be the next to enjoy the whole month of April.
NOTE: I only rent whole calendar month during season (1st to 31st).

I AM NOT ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR 2027 until March.
My season guests get first opportunity to renew for each season.

THE COTTAGE SURVIVED BOTH HURRICANES.
The cottage has been freshened up with new flooring, new trim, paint and updated furniture. You will love the new look.

The cottage is about 400ft from the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico, yet it is tucked into a very quiet neighborhood. Publix (Grocery) is 1 mile north; Bridge Street is 1 mile south. Take the free trolley to dinner and walk back to the cottage on the beach while watching a sunset.

This is a PRIVATE residence. THE COTTAGE SITS ON IT OWN 50 X 100 LOT, so you are not sharing space with anyone else. This is the perfect getaway. This is my personal cottage that has been completely outfitted with everything you need. Looking for a quiet island cottage away from tourist spots and loud bars? A short walk to the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island or the Bay. I am a foodie and chef and so this kitchen has everything and its good quality cookware. Hop on the free trolley and enjoy dinner and drinks at any one of the Island's award-winning restaurants. Make this your Island home away from home and r-e-l-a-x! Walk to the beach every day and enjoy the sun and amazing sunsets.

December, January, February, March, April are Calendar Monthly rental only.
That means first day of the month to the last day of the month only.
All other rentals are minimum 7-day Saturday to Saturday. Longer terms are welcome. If you need flexibly, I will be review, but please inquire first.

Please note: I do not offer anyone to cancel for high season rentals. It just takes too much time to try to juggle last minute cancellations. But I am a fair and reasonable person. If for some reason you cancel your high season reservation, and I am able to re-book the same time I will refund your money minus reasonable costs. Low season cancelations are 60 days. I don't publish this, but I will honor this time frame. I realize life happens. I have always worked everything out with my guests.

Wonderful Cottage

Walking distance to the Gulf. Shopping, Publix a few minutes away. Chris is excellent to communicate with. Will be back soon.

Just Right

This little cottage is the perfect getaway for a couple. The home was very clean and had everything you need for a great stay. We spent the entire month of January 2025 there and I believe we were the first guests to stay there since the hurricane. Chris updated the place nicely and even let us use his personal bikes for our stay. It’s very comfortable and homey and feels like the beach. It’s only a short walk (2 blocks) to the beach. The back deck and gas grill were also great. Most all the restaurants were open and the beach was great. There is still lots of construction and rebuilding going on all over the island but it really didn’t bother us too much. Anna Maria Island is a great place to visit!

Just lovely

Perfect location, removed from the hustle and bustle but close enough to join in at a moments notice. If you need something it's probably there waiting for you to discover it in a drawer or cabinet. Cozy and relaxing. My only suggestion would be to get a king size bed. We are larger and it was difficult to sleep together. Also a bed that has more edge support.

Love, love this little cottage!

This rental has everything we needed. It was clean and well equipped. We love the privacy of the back deck and the outdoor shower. It’s a sweet little neighborhood, like old Florida. The beautiful beach is a just short walk away. We will be back.

Another wonderful stay

Just a great cottage in a great location close to the beach. House has all one needs for a nice vacay at the beach. Beach gear, towels, bikes etc. Kitchen is well fortified with quality cookware, good knives, etc. Feels like home away from home.

Nice cottage

The cottage was nice. It was a short walk to a very nice beach. The houses are too close to each other. Listening to young children playing outside and young adults talking outside on their decks wasn't what we hoped for. Visual privacy was pretty good, noise privacy not so good. Fortunately, the noise levels dropped by 10pm.

Great little cottage!

Comfy, cozy cottage that’s very close to the gulf and the bay. It sits on a residential street with very little traffic. Nice bar/shed in the private backyard. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Great Home Away From Home

Terrific older cottage well maintained. Quiet neighborhood our 2nd stay. 2 block walk to the beach. Close to restaurants, bars, trolly stops. Excellent communication with host who responds very quickly. We will return!

A great little cottage

The cottage was the perfect place to stay. It was within walking distance to the beach, but in a quiet neighborhood. The host has made it comfortable and Homey. Bradington Beach is a beautiful area. I would heartily recommend people to come stay.

Homey Beach Cottage

Great location! Older updated well stocked cottage great for 2 people. Owner very accommodating with quick responses allowing our dogs. Nice grass yard and outdoor shower. Bikes and beach buggy available. Quiet neighborhood 2 blocks from Gulf Drive, restaurants, shopping, bars and beaches. Will certainly look to stay again when in Anna Maria/ Bradenton. Thanks for a great week!

NEEDED A BREAK

We stayed for a week and everything went well. Unit was well stocked as advertised and owner Chris was very easy to work with. We had everything we needed including chairs etc for the beach. Unit is literally only a few mins walk to the beach. Neighbor was quiet and peaceful. Great little get away.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It was the perfect spot for our family, including our little toddler. The beach was just a stone's throw away, which made it super convenient for all of us to enjoy some sun and sand. The cottage itself was incredibly cozy and had a well-equipped kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach supplies provided, saving us the trouble of bringing our own. It made our beach outings with our little one so much more fun! Chris, our host, was amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. He was friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. Overall, we can't recommend this cottage enough for families, singles, or retired folks looking for a comfortable beach getaway. It's the kind of place that feels like a home away from home, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Old Florida Charm

We loved this cute little Beach Cottage! It was just perfect for our 2 week stay. Close to everything and only 2 short blocks to a beautiful beach. House had everything we needed for our stay. So much to do in the area and actually ran out of time to do all we wanted. That is one of the reasons we were quick to book the cottage for next year as well. Chris was so helpful and easy to like right away. Don’t think twice….. just go ahead and book your stay. You won’t be disappointed.

Anna Maria Island Stay

Every thing we needed was there. Grocery store was close. Water just two blocks East or West. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The furniture was extremely comfortable as well as the bed and I just had my upper and lower spine fused. Top notch restaurants are close. The owner is a pleasure to work with.

Amazing beach cottage

We spent a lovely time at Chris’ cottage. From the moment we opened the door, we felt at home. Everything you can think of was available. From cooking basics (and more) to beach chairs to floating devices to bikes to extra pillows to washing stuff to kitchen essentials, all is there like if you were going to your own cottage for a vacation. We will definitely go back to Chris ‘ place to enjoy his property and have more breakfast on the backyard terrace. We loved it!

I was raised here and enjoy the bays and beaches. I am an cyclist and spend most of my spare time cycling the island, parks and preserves. I like my life to be simple and uncluttered. I tried the corporate world but I was drawn right back home. I purchased this cottage because it represents my lifestyle, simple.

This cottage is one of the original houses on the island. It has the original cottage charm with modern touches including a completely remodeled and gorgeous kitchen. I picked this property because when I was growing up my good friends lived in this neighborhood so when I was looking for a second home I gravitated here. This neighborhood seems to be off the radar and away from loud tourist. No late-night noise, no traffic, just gulf breezes and the songs of the birds. Not many places left that you would get this feeling.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Being a foodies and chef the kitchen is outfitted like no other rental on the island. This cottage sits on its own lot, so you have your own private home with a yard, convenient outdoor hot and cold shower, sun deck and a private little bar. The bar (Bar 55) is the perfect little place to hang out day or night, sit back and enjoy a cocktail. Trolley picks you up (FREE) to take you everywhere on the Island. Enjoy a leisurely bike ride (I provide two Townie 3i Comfort Bikes available for your use). I even had a tenant write a novel while living here. I live close by so if you need anything just let me know. The cottage has been tastefully outfitted with everything you need. If you like to cook (as I do) you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of cookware.
