Welcome to paradise! In the middle of a chaotic world, South Pointe is a peaceful clean oasis. We have always had happy guests & most say South Pointe is better then the pictures! We have all the EXTRAS you need for an amazing vacation but no extra fees! Our rates are set & there are NO extra surprises. Come see for yourself!

South Pointe is in a quiet gated community in south Fort Myers called Beachwalk Isles. It has lakes & lush tropical landscaping. Our house has a private backyard with patio & a heated southern exposure pool! We delight in adding new tropical landscaping for your enjoyment. Our home is complete with high speed WiFi & HD satellite TV. We have a WFH space in the master suite with a desk & lamp. We also have a large collection of DVDs & books!

South Pointe was built in 2002 & has had many recent updates. Our clean bathrooms have newer tile, vanities, & solid surface counters. The kitchen is upgraded with dark wood flooring, stainless appliances, & quartz counter tops. Everyone seems to love our eclectic decorating style! The house is about 1500 sq ft plus the relaxing pool & expanded patio area & a garage. There is an eat in kitchen in the front which opens to the great room which consists of dining area and livingroom. This has a 55' flatscreen TV & blu ray DVD player. The patio doors open up to the lanai with a covered seating area and onto the heated southern exposure pool! For your dining pleasure, there is a gas grill, table & chairs plus patio loungers.

Back in the great room, a private hall leads to the laundry room, guest bath (shower/tub combo), & 2 guest bedrooms (both have comfortable queen beds, dressers, & large closets). The large master suite includes a queen bed, sitting area with its own flat screen TV, large custom walk in closet, & beautiful bath with 2 sinks, walk in shower with seating, & linen closet.

Because we were renters ourselves for many years, we include lots of extras! The house is stocked with paper products, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, vacuum, cleaning supplies, etc. There are beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, beach toys, & plenty of beach towels. There are 2 bicycles in the garage for your use! There is an iron, ironing board, & 2 hair dryers. We have tried to put everything in the kitchen we would want including a smoothie maker, mixer, lots of dishes & flatware, serving bowls, every type of bakeware, pots & pans, & lots of spices for cooking.

South Pointe is a comfy house with a big heart! It already holds lots of love & fond memories & yours are waiting to be made here!

Our area has everything! There is a Super Target across the street plus coffee shops (including Starbucks), hair salons, restaurants, banks, Publix (grocery), Beals Outlet, Tanger Outlet Mall abt 1 mile, world famous Love Boat Ice Cream, & all kinds of neat little shops everywhere! Red Sox & Twins spring training camps are only 15 minute drive! Great flea markets! Many golf courses! Fresh seafood markets! But what we love best are the beaches! It's a short drive to Sanibel-Captiva Islands or Ft Myers Beach straight down San Carlos Blvd. Lovers Key State Park is only a short drive as well! There are so many gorgeous beaches close by it's hard to choose!

Wonderful home and location

We had an amazing time for our vacation. Everything that you need, the house comes with. The moment you walk I , you’re “home”. LeVaun is very carrying and will ensure that you’re comfortable and all your needs are met.

Beautiful Home

The home is beautiful!! We will vacation here in the future!! Home is well kept and the owners are fabulous!! Lots of things supplied for us for the beach… snacks were left for us…. Not a far drive to the beach… the gated community is well maintained… we enjoyed it so much!!

Wonderful Home Away from Home!

The property presents lovely on-line, but is far more impressive in-person. LaVaun thought of everything! She has every amenity you could ever need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend staying here -- you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful home, clean, modern, well appointed. The pool is great, we were in it everyday. Great location everything in the Ft Myers area, beaches, golf, shopping, etc. Great owners to deal with. Highly recommend this property.

A pleasant home

We really enjoyed staying at South Pointe. Everything was clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again in case we are going to visit Fort Myers another time. The only thing we didn't like that much was the quite short list of available TV Channels.

Fantastic Rental

Our experience with the owners and the rental unit was nothing but outstanding. The property is exactly as described, if not better and the owners could not be any more accommodating! 4 stars because our guests were disappointed there weren't TVs in the rooms

We LOVED the home. It was comfortable , tastefully decorated and very close to the beach! The ONLY reason I didnt give a 5 star review was because the other people staying with us were disappointed there weren't televisions in their rooms. Rod and LaVaun thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need! The pool came in very handy as the weather was very warm! Very nice property!

Florida Retreat

Very clean nicely decorated well maintained home.

This was our third visit and stay in this home. We are always pleased to have our family vacation at this location. We plan to come back in the near future. The location is perfect, close to shopping and near the Fort Myers beaches. Thanks to LaVaun and Rod.

Great Vacation

We stayed at the end of March for a week for Spring Break. It was my wife, three daughters (8, 10, 12), and myself. We had a blast! LaVaun was great and easy to work with and communicate with. You could tell she and her husband take great pride in this house. The location was fantastic. There is so much to do in Fort Myers. We were out and about exploring every day. It was fantastic. You have to leave in the morning for the beach if you don't want to get stuck in beach traffic, but I'm sure that's anywhere. If you avoid the traffic, you're at the beach in no time. The house is close to groceries, restaurants, shopping, etc. It's in a quiet, residential, gated community, so our girls riding bikes (two provided) and walks was no worry at all. The owners provide plenty of toys for the pool and beach as well as chairs, umbrella, coolers, ice packs, condiments, dvds, towels, paper products, laundry detergent, etc. They also provided a very thoughtful welcome gift. Thus, one only needs to worry about what clothes to bring and what you want to eat or drink, because this house has everything else. The house itself is very well taken care of. The heated pool area was perfect for swimming daily as we did. Our girls especially loved it. The bedrooms are all very efficient, and the master is quite nice as is the master bath and walk-in closet. The kitchen is well set up and stocked well with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. The living room is the perfect place to gather as we enjoyed a couple movie nights. We even used the garage to park, so that was also a major plus to keep the car cool. I think the biggest thing that I liked about LaVaun and Rod's place was that they treated you like adults. They didn't nickel and dime you for everything; they trusted that you would take care of their house as responsible adults. Don't go crazy with the electricity, and it is included in the price. Clean up after yourselves and respect their property and the security deposit gets back to you quickly in full. Pretty simple concept really. All in all, a great place that we would definitely stay at again and highly recommend! For the price, I don't think you could do any better.

Helt fantastiskt!!

Underbart hus med fantastiska värdar. Rent och snyggt, huset har allt man behöver. Fint område som kändes tryggt, nära till affärer och restauranger. Vi hade en underbar vecka och våra barn älskade den fina poolen. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende till alla och kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka!

Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation at South Pointe. The home is exactly as pictured, lovely and comfortable. It was extremely clean and welcoming! The owners were wonderful to deal with and responded to all of our questions in a very timely manner. They have thought of everything! We vacationed with our daughter and her family which included two small boys and South Pointe was just perfect. We truly enjoyed Fort Myers!

Perfect Rental Minutes from the Beach

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week at this property and it was perfect. LaVaun and Rod have thought of everything, you can literally pack only your clothes and still have everything you need or possibly think of. The pool was perfect as it has great sun exposure all day and it is so peaceful in this adorable neighborhood. The house is recently renovated with a large kitchen and beautiful tropical landscape out the window. Other than the pool, I really enjoyed the massive shower in the master bathroom and the beds were very comfortable! Fort Myers beach was maybe a five to ten minute drive, but the location is great because you are so close to shopping and restaurants. A great rental, I highly recommend to anyone!

Awesome Home

Beautiful home, perfect location, great owners. Family Vacation 5 adults, we took in couple Red Sox's games, three rounds at some really nice golf courses and relaxed pool side, it was truly a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend this property, had everything we needed plus. Very well maintained, clean and the owner were very easy to work with, LaVaun and Rob attention to detail was exceptional.

Perfection

We have stayed at several homes in the Beachwalk Isles neighborhood in the past four years. This home is exceptional in every way. The owners are very attentive to detail and it will show your very first step in the door. Everything you see on their listing is exactly what you will walk into and then some. Very impressive! Perfect Home!!

We had a wonderful time at South Point! Your home was beautiful and the perfect size for our family; my husband and I and our two teenage boys. We utilized the pool, screened in porch and beach items almost on a daily basis. I appreciated the well appointed kitchen so we could make the majority of meals at home and have our mom over for dinner. Lovely home, lovely owners to work with.

Rod & LaVaun are both Midwesterners & now live in Ft Myers full time. We are only 5 minutes away. We have been happily married for 43 years with 2 adult children, their spouses & 4 adorable grandchildren! They are God's greatest gift to us! We have traveled to many places. But our favorite spot to vacation in the US has been south Fort Myers area. 13 years ago we decided to look for a home here to share it with others as a vacation rental! Our search ended in July 2012 when we found South Pointe & began to put our personality into it! We absolutely love our home, neighborhood, & area. We think you will too!

South Pointe is not just your basic vacation rental. It is filled with extras so you don't have to buy all those little & big things you need to enjoy your vacation! Such as all the pool toys & floats, everything you need for the beach (towels, coolers, ice packs, beach chairs, umbrella, toys) & if you want to go for a bike ride, there are 2 bikes in the garage for you to use! We start you off with paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, dish, soap, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, and baggies. If you like to cook, the kitchen is equipped with spices, condiments in the frig, & every type of baking dish you need! The cabinets are filled with silverware, glasses, & dishes. If you like to read, we have lots of books. If you like to watch movies, we have a collection of dvd's plus our Xfinity TV!

Beachwalk Isles is the perfect community with some fulltime residents & some part time & everyone is friendly! People love to walk & on our quiet streets & you can do just that! It is a safe neighborhood, day & night. You feel secluded here with the peaceful tropical surroundings but just outside the gate everything you could want is close at hand! Shops, restaurants, fitness center, & a short drive to the beaches! There’s a Super Target across the street & a Walmart 5 minutes away. The house is the perfect size with an open welcoming floor plan! The heated pool is so relaxing! We love it & you will too!

We love the open floor plan of our home. You can be in the kitchen & see clear out to the pool! We also love that the master suite is separated for privacy. There is also a laundry room instead of just a laundry closet! We looked at many many properties in our home search but this home, neighborhood, & area are perfect for us & know it will be for you also!

South Pointe has it all!
