Stunning 6 bedroom, 4.5 bath Spanish Colonial style home in a park-like setting, perfect for families, friends getaways or group retreats.  Home is a 5-minute drive rom Lake Michigan with heated, private pool. 

The 2026 season will open on April 23 and will close on October 12.



Located between the beach communities of South Haven and Saugatuck/Douglas, and the town of Fennville, 'Harvest Country' is home to wineries, art galleries, great dining, a ski area, bike trails, and multiple rivers and lakes for fishing and kayaking. Enjoy farmers markets, town festivals and the beach in the summer along with the gorgeous colors on display in the dense woods and rolling farmland in the fall.



House Rules: This property is not available for weddings, parties or high school/college events. The minimum age to rent the property is 27. No exceptions.



At the end of a long, private driveway, this one-of-a-kind custom home is located in the middle of 15 wooded acres, surrounded by large tracts of land on all sides. The 3600sf two-story home with 2-car garage has three large living areas (two with fireplaces), beautiful views from all six bedrooms, two of which are on the main floor. The huge basement den features a 75" TV, large sectional, foosball and pool tables, as well as a wet bar and fireplace. The family room, which is open to the kitchen and dining areas, has a fireplace and 65" TV. The large updated kitchen features stone countertops, custom tile backsplash, ultra-quiet dishwasher, French door refrigerator, electric cooktop/double oven, and opens on to the family room and dining room. An additional refrigerator is located in the laundry room behind the kitchen. YouTube TV and wireless internet included. 

Bathroom Layouts:  Primary with tub/shower and powder room on main floor; two bathrooms with tub/shower combos upstairs; one bathroom with tub/shower combo on the lower level; powder room in the garage near the pool.

Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is a $50 pet fee. Please let me know the breed and confirm that they are well-trained.

Summer Paradise: A heated, in-ground fenced pool is available to guests from late April through mid-October. The patio off the kitchen/dining/family room area includes dining tables for 10 and 4. Enjoy the fire pit and bird-watching in the back yard, outdoor games, all secluded in the middle of the woods but just a short drive to the beach and towns. Just a 5 minute drive from the property are multiple winery tasting rooms, a golf course, a beachfront Lake Michigan park, and a pumpkin patch with hay rides for autumn guests. Within a 10 minute drive is South Haven, with its charming downtown, farmers market, public beaches and lively riverfront. Other nearby attractions include Saugatuck/Douglas, Fennville, wineries with tasting rooms, breweries, numerous golf courses, antique markets, great restaurants, you-pick orchards, lakes with boat and kayak rentals, hike and bike trails, and many dining options.



Winter Wonderland: Enjoy the views of snow on the evergreen trees in the winter. The house has two furnaces and two fireplaces, and is quite cozy and warm. The nearby Kal-Haven trail is great for cross country skiing. A short drive away are the Bittersweet and Timber Ridge ski areas, where guests can downhill ski and snowboard; lessons, rentals and daily lift tickets available. Downtown South Haven has an open-air ice skating rink, open daily - skate rentals available, as well as coffee and hot chocolate next door at Julia's!



Guests have access to the entire house and garage. We are close by and available by email, text or phone, but will otherwise stay out of your way! This is a special property - a custom built Spanish Colonial home with private pool, 15 wooded acres with many hardwood, evergreen and flowering trees and a lush lawn, surrounded by larger tracts of farmland. It is very private and quiet, with amazing views of the night sky, but is just a short drive from many area attractions and the towns of South Haven, Fennville and Saugatuck/Douglas. Plenty of parking! Large driveway area in front of the house.



The pool will open for the 2026 season on April 23, and will close on Oct 12. 

After booking is confirmed, guest and host will execute a separate rental agreement. It is a standard contract that is required by my insurance company and shouldn't contain any surprises.
