Welcome to your 5 star vacation experience in South Venice - we love hosting and we love it clean and organized.

You will immediately feel the inviting atmosphere as soon as you step in. Bright and fresh, with high ceilings and modern furniture with a “beachy touch”, our Villa Happy Gator in South Venice will be your home away from home.

Relax at the gorgeous pool area with sunny Southwestern exposure and enjoy the crystal-clear water of our heatable pool. The sunshelf is a well loved plus our pool has to offer. Cozy barbecues are crowning ends of your vacation days. The colorful pool lights ensure a fantastic ambience.

With only a few minutes drive to several beautiful beaches, our Villa Happy Gator is ideally located for all beach lovers.

Walk along the fantastic coastline and find our world-famous fossil shark teeth. Or simply relax in your sun chair and watch the waves. Chances are good you see a bunch of dolphins.

Supermarkets are only 5 minutes away. The charming town of Venice with its lovely historic downtown, numerous restaurants, bars, shops and galleries invite to stroll around.

Awesome stay. Pool area is great. Location is the central to the popular beaches, downtown Venice, and shopping. Birgit communicated with us perfectly. The little things mean a lot to us and we were very happy. We felt welcome and had everything we needed.

This property was perfect for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible to our other family in the area. Any issues were addressed quickly and completely. If it is available when we return for next year's vacation we will gladly stay there again.

Great place to stay

Everything was great, very clean and bright. Our only disappointment was the king size bed was actually (2) single mattress pushed together, and not comfortable. We chose to sleep on the double bed in 2nd bedroom. Overall we had a wonderful stay @ Happy Gator

Beautiful house and fantastic pool!

The owners thought of everything with this house, including labeling everything clearly! The house is super clean and the pool is great - very private with lots of room. Would definitely go back.

Successful 50th Anniversary

If you want to be a successful grandparent, rent a house with a pool! This house had a wonderful safe salt water pool, with separate rooms for our son’s family. It was easy to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in such a well-kept house.

Happy Gator Villa Getaway

Our stay in Venice was amazing! The house was pristine and had everything you might need for your vacation! The pool outside was one of our favorite features! The beaches were close by-our favorite was Venice beach and the house had all the beach supplies you would need! We would definitely return!

Clean and close to beach

Our stay was excellent! The house was extremely clean and well organized. The house is centrally located. Comfortable beds and excellent pool deck area. Owner has lots of vacation essentials present and well labeled which was very appreciated.

Absolutely lovely

The house was perfect for out stay with our grandsons, clean and stocked well. Close to the beaches and old historic Venice was a short drive with plenty of places to dine. We would definitely choose this home again!

Villa Happy Gator

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Happy Gator. The house was as described and well taken care of. The nearby park and walking/bicycling trail was great and the Venice area was enjoyable. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Very nice, clean, and well maintained house.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Gator. It was perfect for our trip to Venice to sight see and visit family. The property is very well maintained and everything is very organized. The house also had a lot of items to help make your stay even better like items for the beach and bicycles. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to visit Venice, Fl.

Very nice place

The pictures really don’t do it justice. It was very close to several beaches, and we visited many of them. The only thing I disliked about the property was the sulfur smell of the water. It is quite strong and makes the house smell of sulphuric as well.

Wonderful house in a great location.

Great property in a great location. Pool and pool areas were perfect. Well appointed and SUPER clean. The owners have really thought of their guests and provided clear and detailed instructions for pretty much everything. The local property manager was also super helpful. Highly Recommend! Would stay again!

Clean, comfy and close to everything!

House was just as shown on the listing. My family had an amazing time staying at this house! Beds were comfy, there were lots of towels, and everything we needed was there for our use. Pool was perfect for the kids and the shaded area was a nice place to relax in the evening. Definitely recommend this vrbo!

Growing up in Germany, the country of my dreams always has been the US. After decades of traveling through dozens of states, South West Florida became my final destination. I fell in love with the tropical nature, the beautiful weather year-round and the slower pace of everyday life. The sunsets at our beaches are gorgeous.
Since we got our first vacation home, I learned how I love to share these blessings with our wonderful guests.

What I love about South Venice is the typical American neighborhood away from fancy tourist spots and high rise buildings. Within minutes we are at our favourite miles long beach on Manasota Key, our nature preserves at Lemon Bay or on the fantastic bike trails (Legacy Trail). Shopping is within 5-10 minutes, the proximity to the highway I75 is convenient for trips.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Definetely the gorgeous pool area with the large sitting space. Our sunshelf is a well loved feature that is not often to find. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is pure relaxation. Kids love the sports pool with shallow ends on each side.
Also our care for cleanliness is surely one reasons we have so many returning guests.
