Enjoy the great outdoors, relaxing on the porch facing the lake or sit on the dock and watch some of the most incredible sunsets while sipping your favorite beverage. Supplied Kayaks and Canoe get you floating on the 320 acre lake where you can fish and swim. This little 700 square foot house sits on 8 private acres only with the main house next to it. We supply bicycles and outdoor games for you to enjoy. The indoor gas fire place keeps you warm

The attention to detail by the host was Southern Hospitality at its finest. House was well stocked and very thoughtful with the provided amenities. The custom design of the home was unique and very fun. The lake was beautiful and great to canoe. A unique place I would return to. But next time will play soccer!

It was the perfect little overnight getaway. So peaceful by the lake. Awesome views. The cabin itself was very modern and so clean and smelled so fresh. There was every amenity you could think of and some I would have never thought of. One thing that stood out to me was how nice the towels smelled while drying off from my shower. That’s a big plus to me. We met the hosts upon arrival and they were super friendly. We highly recommend booking this place!!!! We had no complaints!!! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a great location for our 1 night stay. The place was beautiful and clean. The only thing I didn’t care for was that the bed was very firm and was right next to the livingroom but you could close a curtain around the bed so that kind of made up for no real bedroom. The shower was amazing. If the need arose I would stay here again

It’s located next to a large home only stayed one night, bed was a little bit firm for me but slept great and enjoyed the ducks & wildlife.

We had an absolute beautiful stay at this amazing property! The sunsets and views were stunning, the personal touches made upon our arrival, and good company (Wolfgang and Chrissy are now great friends!). We took the canoe out for the day and LOVED the float along the water.We will definately be back again!

Just the relaxing setting we needed!

Don’t sleep on this beautiful piece of Heaven! My husband and I enjoyed every second of our stay. Our only regret is not booking it for longer.

Peace and quiet

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this cozy little house. The view of the lake was so relaxing with ducks swimming by and even a crane wading once! There was plenty of space for the two of us and everything we needed was stocked! We really were thankful for our time here and would recommend!

A perfect place on the lake

Wee had a great stay. It’ll cozy but not cramped. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe, as well as the launch and fishing docks. Our host, Wolfgang, was excellent with great communication. Definitely in the top five of our VRBO stays. We will return, I’m sure

The view of the lake was beautiful and the cabin itself was great. I do wish I had realized the cabin was in someone’s backyard. I was a little uncomfortable about that and might not have booked had I known. Overall the property was great I just felt a lack of privacy.

Hello Allison, We are very sorry that you did feel uncomfortable, I think it is mention in the property description that my wife and me are living next door. The privacy of our guests is highly respected and we are always trying to meet our guests one time to interduce our self, some times that is not possible since both of us are working long hours and are hardly at home. Our stay went well and the space was more than enough for what was needed. The bathroom was lovely including the nice showerhead and fluffy towels! Kitchen space was great and we could have cooked meals easily if need be. The few drinks and such in the fridge were a nice touch, as was the wine and candies left out to welcome us. The few sticking points, of which I would like the host to be aware, were as follows:-the TV was difficult to use, with poor connectivity that caused problems with using it even to try to just watch a few football games.-the pull out couch/bed, the 3rd sleeping space for 3rd adult, was broken when we arrived. It was still useable for the adult present, who was able to remove the cushions and just sleep on it as a couch, but the anterior support of the pull out portion was comprimised. These small issues did not deter us from enjoying the space generally, and I would still recommend this location for anyone! I am also aware that we could have contacted the host during our visit to discuss these issues, but again, it was not ultimately a large problem for us, and as such, I just wanted the host to be aware of these few small things.

This property matched the description 100%. It was exactly what we were expecting and wanting from our little time away from home. Although the rental is right next to the main house (15 or so feet away), we had plenty of privacy and time to enjoy ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing!! Sunset was the best time for us to fish (had the most bites and catches). Loved seeing all the different wildlife and watching the beautiful sunsets. Quite, cozy, perfect place to relax and get away from the chaos of life. Would 10/10 recommend and we plan on coming back in the future!
