Welcome to River’s Edge Cabin, your peaceful retreat nestled along a picturesque stretch of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Whether you’re cooling off in the summer sun, exploring the river by canoe or kayak, or simply unwinding under a blanket of stars, this charming cabin offers the perfect getaway for couples or small families seeking tranquility and adventure.

A Scenic Oasis in Every Season
During the warmer months, enjoy fishing, swimming, and paddling right in your backyard. When the air turns crisp, River’s Edge transforms into a cozy hideaway, perfect for enjoying the peacefulness of the river and the beauty of the changing seasons. (Please note: 4WD may be necessary in winter weather conditions.)

Comfortable Accommodations for Small Groups
River’s Edge Cabin comfortably hosts up to 4 responsible adults or families of 6. The cabin features:

A fully equipped kitchen for preparing delicious meals
3 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 full beds) - guests bring their own towels and linens, but
quilts, blankets, and pillows are provided
2 full bathrooms
A covered deck overlooking the river, complete with rocking chairs
A gas grill for outdoor cooking

You won’t need to leave the property to have a memorable vacation. Spend your days:

Soaking in the river’s sights and sounds from the rocking chairs on the deck

Great location convenient to Luray! The home was spotless and exactly as advertised. We met Jeff and he was so kind. The fire pit with river view was perfect for our Sunday evening. The hosts had firewood, kindling and a lighter prepared for our stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the bed was very comfortable. 10/10 would stay here again!

The home was clean and well stocked. Games, DVD's and board games for indoors and games and canoe and kayaks for outdoor fun. The kitchen was very well stocked. We really appreciated the nice cooking utensils and spice cabinet and other amenities. The beds were comfortable, no hard mattresses. I just wish the view of the river was a bit better.

We loved staying here! The house is right on the river and my kids loved playing in the water. The host had tubes, kayaks, life vests etc for everything you’d need for the river. The house was very clean and perfect for our family!

We enjoyed a last minute two night stay rather than camping in 100 degree weather! We had a great time exploring the area and enjoying the river as a cool off at the end of the day. Great place with river view and river toys. Comfortable and clean!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time staying here. The property was within easy access to all the major attractions of Shenandoah. The kids enjoyed being by the river and playing in the backyard. The hosts were very responsive and graciously helped us fix a flat tire as well. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. There were so many extras provided by the host that made our stay even better. We enjoyed the canoe, kayak and tubes. Firewood, starter and roasting sticks were provided. There were fun indoor and outdoor games to play. The kitchen was stocked well and they even had toiletries. The house was decorated with rustic cabin decor which we loved also.

We enjoyed are stay immensely. The host provided all the necessary things we needed except for sheets which was listed. We appreciated the kayaks and the canoe and wood for the fire. It was a beautiful location right on the river.

Our stay at this riverfront home was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless everything was. The house was beautifully maintained, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The property itself is breathtaking. We spent so much time outside enjoying the peaceful river views, playing cornhole, and ending our evenings roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. The hosts also provided so many activities and games for guests to enjoy, making it easy to relax and have fun.The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and it was clear they put a lot of thought into making their guests feel at home.We can't recommend this property highly enough. It was one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in, and we're already talking about making this our annual getaway. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The house was very clean and had many extras for guest convenience such as outdoor and indoor play items, even some firewoods, many small items in the house helped our stay. Only thing we missed was linens and towels that we had to bring with us.

We love the quiet and beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. We were fortunate enough to find this property right on the river where we could build our own cabin. Nothing beats having the Shenandoah River right out your front door.

We can swim, fish, and canoe right from the house. Evening campfires overlooking the river are the perfect way to spend an evening after a day in the water. There is plenty to do without leaving the house.
