Tucked away in the charming beachfront community of Oceanwood, this lovely 3-bed 3-bath home is just steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect for a family getaway or a romantic retreat.

The first floor of this home has a bright, airy great room and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The living room includes new furnishings and opens to the dining area with access to a spacious deck, perfect for grilling and al fresco dining. Decks abound, with access to a second deck off the living room, perfect for lounging and enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. The master bedroom and bath are located on the first level of the home.

On the second floor is where you will find the twin guest bedroom, the queen guest bedroom with a private deck, and a shared bathroom.

Great location

Ideal location for people who have kids and need to haul what seems to be a truck load of stuff down to the beach. Short walk and convenient area to get all the sand off when it's all said and done. The house is very nicely laid out to give everyone privacy and the living room is a great size to entertain for the evening after a long day at the beach.

For the price I expected more

Could use a thorough cleaning. The deck lounges and higher chairs shown on website were replaced with 3 lounges that were unusable since non-removable cushions were waterlogged and never dried out. No help from rental company. Advertised for 8 guests. But bar height dining room table had 6 chairs for our 7 guests. No other higher style chair available. Two sets of 4 chairs outside but not enough room on either deck to combine them. If you cook, only S&P. Good response from rental company on sliding door lock issue. Great location for pool and beach access.

Fabulous location, quiet, and super close to the beach

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Nicely appointed with large deck for our family meals, as well as a large eat in area. The Weber grill was excellent. We loved the main family room as a place for all of us to connect at the end of the day of activities. The house is on a very quiet street, and only steps away from the beach. Just out through the back towards the community pool, and the beach right there. The house came with 4 bike rentals which were very handy to ride along the beach as well as a quick ride into town to grab some coffee/pastries. Weather was perfect with low70's towards the last week of December. Some favorite restaurants while down there was Al's Aloha Kitchen and SlapFish, all within a 5-8min drive. We did golf at the Shipyard which was only 12min drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

low maintenance

location was great... but a low maintenance of property was the factor the affected our experience. the upstairs bath was slow draining so when family took a shower, 8”?of standing water on tub. Rotted wood , rusted and screws protruding on deck boards and black mold on deck were everything dent through out.

107 Oceanwood Trace Family trip

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as listed on the site, very spacious home, and the multiple outdoor deck seating options were perfect for my children to enjoy the outdoors while remote working. 5 minute walk to the very private beach, with the pool even closer. Never a problem getting pool chairs. Plenty of beach towels provided, as well. The only improvement needed was to clean the floors. Seemed quite dirty. Located near the end of North Forest Beach Rd. which made it quiet. 1.5 miles from Coligny Circle making it an easy bike ride for coffee, meals and shopping. Would stay again!

Beautiful property in amazing location

The property was excellent - modern and clean with a very well stocked kitchen - and was a Stone’s throw from a community pool, which we had to ourselves, and the beach.

Inaccurate Listing

The listing was inaccurate. The Sleeper Den did not have a sleeper sofa. The management company was great to work with! This was super unfortunate as we had planned to use this room for 2 teenagers to sleep in and would never have selected this property if we had know there wasn't a sleeper sofa in there. The location of this property is great. You cannot see the ocean but the lush landscaping is nice. The property is dated and the exterior decking and doors has some rot, mildewing. Kitchen and living area were nicely updated and stocked. The bikes that were included were a great bonus and this house is only 1 mile from Coligny Plaza and the bike ride there on the shaded path was very enjoyable.

Very Nice

Overall, I don’t think the pictures do the property justice. It is a very nice home with excellent access to the beach. We didn’t know what to expect but it was fantastic. Management team was very courteous and easy to work with. Check in process was a breeze. Left some supplies in the kitchen which made for nice conveniences. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to the property owner to upgrade the TVs. It’s a pandemic. All we do is watch TV :)

Great overall!

The location is wonderful. Very short walk to the beach. Feels private during time of COVID when you don't want to be around crowds. The pool only serves 13 houses so it was never crowded (even over Labor Day), which is good because it is on the smaller side for a community pool but sufficient. On the beach, it was crowded to the left from a resort but not crowded right at our beach access, so that was nice. The kitchen renovation and master bath renovation are nice. The other 2 bathrooms need a refresher as well and I imagine that might be next on the agenda. The TV's are older and don't have apps or casting ability for Netflix, etc unless you want to bring your own sticks (Roku, Apple, etc) - but they do have cable. We don't watch much TV at beach anyway but would have liked to pull up Netflix for a movie for the kids at night. The grill is fantastic - high quality and newish. We grilled several nights. The property overall is older and you can tell by the windows and doors and such but the inside feels refreshed and nice, particularly downstairs. Overall, great!

Great Location

Overall, we liked the house. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen. The house comes just as described and was well stocked for renters. We never quite figured out the front door lock so we used the sliding glass doors at the rear. There are a lot of steps so I would not recommend this unit to families with small children or elderly parents.

Mixed feelings!

This house has great potential, it is in a great location, steps from the beach and situated in a really nice neighbourhood. The layout of the house worked really great for our family of 5, including our 2 toddlers and Grandma! The disappointment came with the general lack of maintenance with regard to the cleanliness of the place. In the covered parking area, underneath the house, it is just completely neglected with lots of junk, including a disfunctional hot tub - a very uninviting first impression. The house itself was surface clean, in that the kitchen and bathrooms had been cleaned and the house was tidy, however it was in great need of a very deep clean and everything looked to have been thrown in the cupboards haphazardly. The outside decks were a great space, which had ample seating and nice furniture, the beds were comfortable, the tvs and cable were all good, the showers were powerful and there was plenty of hot water on demand. This house could really do with a good upgrade and it would really benefit from pest control, so many roaches seen scuttling around the place. Hilton Head is a beautiful place, our first of many visits to come....just probably not returning to this rental.
