Our 3 bedroom 2 bath ocean front home comfortably accommodates 8 guests located just steps from the sand in Rio Del Mar Beach. This 2 story vacation home has an abundance of outdoor space. It includes a large, private, back patio equipped with a BBQ. Also enjoy the front area, with an umbrella dining patio set that will seat up to 6. In addition, both upstairs bedrooms lead out to a deck with breathtaking ocean views. It is not rare to see dolphins jumping along with all the other sights Rio Del Mar Beach has to offer.

The Main floor has an open floor-plan which includes a formal Living Room with Flat Screen TV, newer couches and seating, Gas Fireplace, card table, full bathroom, laundry area, bedroom and a dining table for 6 that is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen.

On the 2nd level, there is one full bathroom at the top of the stars with an ocean view bedroom on either side of the hall.

The home is conveniently located near a well known deli (Pixie Deli), coffee shop, convenience store and high end restaurant (Cafe Rio). You are also within 2 miles from grocery stores, restaurants, cinema, gas stations, golf course, tennis court, and much more!

AMAZING STAY

Reviewer Comments: My sisters and I have stayed in this property numerous times. We appreciated the new appliances in the kitchen!! The chairs out front with the umbrella were practically falling apart. Otherworldly we were very happy. This is the first time we saw whales multiple times during our stay. So amazing!! We are disappointed that we are just about being priced out of being at this property. :( such good memories!!

Reviewer Comments: This property is my absolute favorite place to spend time away from home!Very comfortable furnishings, a gas fireplace that you can fire up immediately and plenty of space for everyone! The kitchen is an absolute must, where we cook up 3 meals a day, including the backyard barbecue!I mentioned “backyard”, which is spacious!I return to this home again and again...Since I’m older, and my body more sensitive, I bring a memory foam mattress topper for comfort. Everyone else her sleeps just fine!

Home Away From Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my favorite vacation rental that is actually close to my own home. It is so warm, welcoming and cozy. I feel like I’m in an insulated bubble when I retreat to this place, yet, I can still drive off and take care of business when I need to do so. I order my groceries from a local store and they are delivered to my doorstep so I don’t have to pack anything other than my beach clothes and accessories. The beach is right in front of us, allowing quick access to enjoy throughout the day, including front row seats to spectacular sunsets! A fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze AND a washer and dryer keeps us fresh and clean with less clothing to pack! Some days I’m perfectly content to stay inside to relax and listen to the sound of the ocean. I will return again and again.....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very cute place and good location. This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed through VRBO. I would say the linens and bed covers and pillows were the worst. I can’t believe you have a charge for linens and for cleaning separate. The linen service sucks. The tables and chairs were discussing. So was the screens on the windows. We had to clean everything ourselves before we could sleep here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay, right across from beach access.Wonderful time with the family. If you are not familiar with the area there is not a lot of shops nearby. A drive to Capitola or Santa Cruz took care of that. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for 7 of us. Small glitch with the dishwasher but heard all new appliances are being installed after our visit. I did find it strange that there were decor items placed under the beds and in corners next to dressers. And then oddly short on pillow cases, but plenty of pillows in the closets. I later found linens in several random places throughout the house. Some items were not centrally located and found like most places we have rented in the past. Overall, would recommend to others and would consider renting again.

Great location, worn down,

Nice location across the street from beach. Lots of foot traffic, and to be expected with public beach. While mostly clean, the blinds were old challenging to lift up and down. Whole house is worn down. Also outside of property was covered in spider webs. Good tv with streaming.

Girls Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was ok it slept 8 but it had no setting for 8 people to sit together at any table inside or out. The supply of towels was exactly 8 towels 8 wash clothes and 4 hand towels. That was very insufficient for 8 women for 3 days. Parking was only for one car. The public parking area to the left of the house was limited time and the sign that is there is very faded only visible in day light if standing right in front of it. Could not see there was a time posted that said hours of 10pm to 6am no parking. 3 of the cars that were in the group received $26.00 dollar tickets. Again, no sign that said there was a fine for parking after hours that again was not visible on the sign. There should be a notice in the home about the parking.
