Fabulous home, located behind the gates on Beach Dr. This is a fully furnished, nicely decorated home with all amenities. Large Oceanside deck and rooftop deck with seating, perfect for sun bathing or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The Oceanside deck touches the sand. This house has wireless service. Direct television available. Located nearby Café Rio, Pixie Deli, and Venus restaurant, this cozy home is perfect for making memories.

House was perfect location, super clean, cozy and had all the bare necessities we needed for our family. Weather was absolutely perfect too! We’re definitely keeping this house on our list of places to book for our beach getaways.

Family Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This summer‘s family get together was one of our best yet! The location of the house, right on the sand, was wonderful! We didn’t have to pack up and go anywhere! We played games, barbecued, buried a grandchild in the sand up to his neck, played in the surf, had bonfires with s’mores and just enjoyed and laughed the week away! And of course we made our annual trek to Pizza My Heart, Manuel’s and Maryann’s. Caruso’s in Capitola was once again the choice for “date night”. Lynette and Lisa were great to work with. They navigated any bump in the road with professionalism and kindness. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely LOVED this vacation rental. It’s spacious and perfect proximity to ocean. Lots of seating inside and had everything we needed. A few things were the mattresses in bunk room and queen need to be updated, the handle on one of the sliding doors was broken but still worked and the oven was different and hard to figure out temperature and cooking time needed. Other than that, everything else was perfect - it just needs a few upgrades. We will be staying here over and over again! One last thing, the cleaners left sand in some sinks and the windows out back had lots of finger prints on them that we had to clean when we got there - minor things, but something you should be aware of.

Great Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to this home several times. Each time is an enjoyable experience. We enjoy hearing and seeing the waves crash onto the sand. Walking out onto the deck then onto the sand is fabulous. The bedrooms are all cozy with plenty of bedding, and towels for the family. Bailey properties are very responsive and helpful. The down side is cooking. If you want to cook in this home you will need to buy every spice you want to use. Luckily, we live close by and are aware of this so brought with us the spices we anticipated needing garlic, salt pepper etc. If you want to serve soup, eat ice cream, etc, you may also need to bring or buy extra spoons, since for some reason there are only a few spoons. However, there is an abundance of everything else

Great Location

Great Location/View! Home was fairly tired & worn. But that wasn’t an issue for us.Broken chair leg. No teaspoons, though I don’t know why anyone would require them. No toaster. Toaster oven was available, but it was a challenge figuring out how to use it properly or reset it.Limited TV options. In the Living Room there was a Roku remote but no TV remote. None of this was a significant issue.Checking in was an issue. Instructions said to come to the office (106 Aptos Beach Rd.) after 3:00pm to check in. It was a Sunday and the office was closed. My wife reached someone by phone (multiple tries) who instructed us to go directly to the house, and provided us with a lockbox code to access a key.When we got close we encountered a gate which we weren’t aware of. My wife called again and reached a different person (Kim?). She wasn’t very helpful, and suggested we wouldn’t have a problem if we read the instructions.About that time a couple came by who were going to go through the gate (walking). We chatted awhile and they gave us code to get in. Once we got to the house the lockbox/key worked fine.Just a minor blip.randy

Worst ever

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is crowded with so much “beach junk” that it is overwhelming. The home needs a deep clean, carpets are torn and roll at the edges, lights kept burning out, shutters in one room falling apart, guest bath toilet leaked from the bottom, molding fell off bathroom wall, a dining room chair was taped together with blue painters tape, windows were filthy inside and out, several of the pictures were so old there was no color, just pale blue outlines. The house sleep eight but only seven dining chairs......now I am getting picky, you get the idea.

Family Fun

Our family has headed to the beach every summer for almost 40 years now. With the location of this home, right on the sand, we decided to spend more time at the house and on the beach, and we absolutely loved it. We barbecued, built bonfires, sang songs and ate s’more‘s. It was such a great week with our kids and grandkids. Can’t wait until next year!

Upon arrival, you need to reach through the cut-out in the gate in order to open the gate, and then you get to the front door. The couch is a little tired. The beds were very comfortable and new. The kitchen is well appointed but some of the cooking utensils are a little tired but function just fine. Happy to see there are 2 coffee makers (Keurig and a Mr.Coffee) There is an extra beverage fridge in the living room. There are plenty of different socializing areas for large groups.The location is amazing. Behind the gate and beach front. Just what we were looking for.

Great location

Location is everything. Made up for lack of other things. Very bare bones house, not a lot of kitchen amenities, no spices or even pepper. No ziploc bags. Keurig machine but no pods. Coffee maker but no coffee. Lots of Knick knacks, but it gave it character. Would come back again.

Wonderful Get Away

I took my family to the beach where I spent my Summer vacations at Rio Del Mar. This house is right on the beach. It has lots of room for those that want to read and those that want to play video games. The kitchen was well equipped. It’s fun to sit out on the deck and watch people walking by with their dogs. The view of the ocean is right in front of you. Beautiful sunsets. I couldn’t have dreamed a better vacation. It took me back to my childhood 60 years ago!

Previously we thoroughly enjoyed our stays but this time, my wife was in a wheel chair and the home is not ADA compliant. Hopefully the owners can rectify the situation.

Just gorgeous!! a result the property is not updated or well maintained. The same issues we had a full year ago haven’t been corrected.. inexpensive ones such as a broken patio umbrella with a spine sticking out that isn’t stable and spins.. to a master bath with 3 bad lightbulbs and 4 more almost going... a main Smart TV where you have to push so hard on the remote to get it to work that it’s almost not worth it.. a fireplace that doesn’t work.. a side gate so rusty it doesn’t close. BAILEY should be embarrassed - it would be SO easy to make these very minor improvements and a year later exactly the same. Definitely won’t be staying at this property again.
