Welcome to 181 High Hammock, a charming top-floor villa nestled in the serene surroundings of Seabrook Island, just a short drive from Kiawah and Charleston, SC. This delightful retreat is the perfect blend of sophistication and relaxation; of both solitude and a central location. It is an ideal getaway for couples or small families seeking a relaxing beach escape and will become a guest favorite immediately.
New to the market, step inside to discover a cozy living area that invites relaxation, featuring tasteful décor in a palette of ocean blues and gray hues. The living area offers a plush sectional and a large smart TV. The couch has a pull-out bed for additional sleeping space. The open layout seamlessly connects the living space to a dining area with shiplap walls and new light fixtures. A well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a quartz countertop, and a blue tile backsplash, making it an ideal spot for whipping up your favorite meals. The fully stocked kitchen caters to all your culinary needs. Three kitchen stools at the counter offer added seating. Off the living area is access to the lengthy private balcony. Guests love to dine al fresco at the dining table or enjoy their morning coffee in one of the Adirondack chairs.
The large master suite features abundant natural light, elevated ceilings, a plush king bed with a new mattress, a smart TV, a dresser, blackout curtains, a closet, and an additional twin bed. A desk area offers a designated workspace where you can catch up on emails or work remotely while enjoying all the island has to offer. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included. The bedroom also has access to the balcony area overlooking the majestic oaks and lush tropical greenery.
With two bathrooms, all guests have their own space. The en-suite master bathroom has a large vanity area and a tub/shower combo. The guest bathroom, located off the main living area, offers a walk-in shower. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and body soap. A washer and dryer are located within the villa for the convenience of guests.
This property comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it perfect for a romantic getaway, golf weekend, or a small family vacation. We also welcome you to bring your well-behaved dog along for the best stay ever! (Pet fee applies). Seabrook Island is a dog-friendly community with the picturesque neighborhood of High Hammock, island nature trails, and miles of vast, uncrowded beach for your pup to explore.
Guests adore the array of private club amenities available to only members and their guests. Included with your stay are amenity cards to access the Seabrook Island Club and its dining options, golf, tennis, and acclaimed beach club. Whether you want to dine oceanside, enjoy a cocktail poolside, or play a round of golf, there is something for everyone to enjoy. 181 High Hammock is not just a place to stay; it's a home away from home. Guests also love to explore nearby attractions such as the charming shops and restaurants of Freshfields Village, Bohicket Marina, and downtown Charleston. If outdoor activities are of interest, kayaking, biking, boat rentals, and shelling tours are all a phone call away.

• BEACH: 0.6 miles away. At least 2 beach chairs are provided at the property for guest use. • CLUB AMENITIES: Digital Amenity Cards access is INCLUDED with your stay at no extra charge (a $55 daily savings). This offers access to the private oceanfront Beach Club pools (open seasonally), club dining, golf courses, and tennis courts. • POOL: Access to the two Seabrook Island Beach Club pools with the digital amenity card. The outdoor pool at the Seabrook Island Lake House is also included. • PARKING: This property allows for a maximum of 2 vehicle gate passes. • LSV GOLF CARTS: No LSV vehicles (low-speed golf carts) are permitted at this villa complex. • CHILDREN: Children welcome. • PET POLICY: Dog friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at this beautiful villa. An additional pet fee applies. • LONG-TERM RENTALS: This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates. • PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED & MANAGED: Short-Term Rental License STR25-000485. • ADDITIONAL INFO: A $69 Non-Refundable Fee applies for $1500 of Damage Protection Coverage. Fitness center and indoor pool access at the Lakehouse are available for a daily fee of $16 per guest.
• LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club).
• WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know.
• COFFEE MAKERS: A standard carafe coffee pot and a Keurig single-serve machine are on site. Please bring your own ground coffee for the carafe option or use your favorite Keurig K-cups.
• AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis, and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $55 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Pre-order forms are mandatory for all guests wishing to use the outdoor Lakehouse pool. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is unable to accept information over the phone.
• ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) charges a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a strict limit of 2 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night to 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided, and drivers may be required to show a valid driver's license at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. Please note that LSV vehicles (low-speed golf carts) are strictly prohibited at this villa complex.
• CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self-check-in process. Guests will directly check in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with the check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions.
• CONTINUOUS MANAGEMENT & SERVICE: This property is proudly managed by Sandpiper. We are local and family-owned, and your stay is our priority. We are on the island, licensed, insured, and locally staffed. Our standard for your stay is what we would want and expect for our own vacation. We offer guests continuous, attentive service during the reservation process and throughout your time here. From the moment you book with us, in planning and preparing for your arrival, throughout your stay with us, and even after checking out and sharing your experience with us, we remain committed to your vacation experience and are here at any time to answer any questions that arise or concerns you have. We want you to have a relaxing, safe, and memorable trip.
• CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We are one of the only companies that washes the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.
• THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.
• IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments, and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.
• POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking or vaping please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.
• PARTIES: This is an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!

Wonderful Getaway
I have never had a place feel so much like home. Such a relaxing place stocked with everything you need to make your stay feel like a true getaway. From the beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen, to the very comfy king bed, we feel like we found a treasure in this place. We will definitely return. We have already told so many people about this place.
