Great time

Had a really fun weekend and would definitely recommend this house to others. The indoor pool and sauna came in handy after skiing.

A Great Getaway Experience!

Family of 20 celebrating a birthday. House was spacious, clean and well supplied. Snowtubing literally 5 minutes away! Swimming in the heated pool in the middle of winter was amazing! Water was always very warm. There were no unpleasant surprises. What you see advertised is what you get and we lacked for nothing. Every single one of us agreed we found the perfect house for such a large group and we would definitely return.

Great New Year stay

What a great way to celebrate New Year in a cozy, welcoming house right near the slopes. A perfect culmination of spending days skiing is to jump in a hot sauna or warm indoor pool. The 15 of us, all adults, rented this house an are very happy with location, layout and amenities. When we arrived the property was already clean and ready for us. It can comfortably accommodate 16 people, the kitchen is big and fully stocked with dishes, 2 4-burner stoves, microwave, coffee machine, etc. Clean leanens and towels were provided. Sauna can accommodate 6 people and adequately heated. But the biggest attraction is a heated pool, which we used exclusively, while outside temperature was below freezing. David, the owner, was easy to reach, very responsive and addresses every request promptly. We all recommend this property for any occasion and will definitely return. Thank you David for making our New Year get-together ther a vacation to remember.

Great weekend getaway

Huge house with plenty of modern amenities and a kitchen made to entertain a larger group. Plenty of sleeping spots (7 beds can sleep 2 each, plus 3 single beds and plenty of floor space for air mattresses) and seating for 14 easily at dinner/breakfast time. Heated pool and sauna were amazing during the rainy weather or to mend sore muscles. Hot water was luke warm but may have been due to large number of people using it. Back deck is huge with fun games, outdoor seating for 8 and a big fire pit. Those huge, curved LCD TV's were quite unexpected. Kitchen had all necessary tools to cook and serve however you like. The place could use some minor cosmetic improvements but overall not an issue at all. Would gladly rent again. Owner is very responsive to any issues.

A wonderful time!

This is a great house in many ways. The kitchen/dining area is a large space for family meals. The house is very close to Hunter Mountain, has 5 bedrooms and 2 sitting areas with extra couches for sleeping. The pool is a fabulous extra! I will add that the deck and lawn area needs a more thorough pickup which would make the place even better! Spending the weekend here was a great experience for our family!

Has potential to be great but not there yet.

No AC on this property should be more clear for summer rentals. Pool pics don't match reality very dark and causes condensation on lower floor. Needs better process for handling garbage. More cans or an actual dumpster during stays. Hard to keep bugs out and stay cool with broken screens all over the property. Several potholes in driveway and some black mold in the downstairs bathroom. The additional "bedrooms" are just common areas. Truly only 5 bedrooms with their own doors but 7 sleeping areas in total I guess. Just didn't live up to expectations especially given the pricing. Had to buy multiple cooling and drying fans just to make it through.

Great house with large pool

Very cozy place with large common area near the kitchen and large pool. I went with a couple families over the holidays and we all brought our kids and they all loved the pool. After having to stay inside due to extremely cold temps, the pool made it much more bearable for everyone. Recommend this place to families

It’s a lovely house. The upgrades are beautiful. Nice kitchen, new fridge, great pool!

It’s clean, spacious, and has 5 bedrooms and a couple of futons. Working fireplace inside and fire pit in yard. New yard furniture and the new comfy chairs inside the house were so relaxing you could sleep in them all night. Beautiful kitchen table can sit 10+ people. Oven was clean and corresponding cook top was fiercely hot. New refrigerator was fabulous. There are two separate seating areas inside the house and multiple areas outside to sit, where family/friends can gather around. I appreciate all the work the new owner has been doing to remodel. Whatever other projects need to be done it doesn’t effect your stay. The bathrooms (3) might be outdated but they were clean and neat with plenty of towels. (But bring some extra large towels from home for the pool.) Jumping into the sauna after a swim was a treat! The beds were very comfortable in each bedroom.

Nice house but...

While the house had some great amenities - the pool, deck and grill, fire pit and large kitchen, the house/grounds overall were maintained very poorly. The front grass was at least 12-18 inches tall, most closet doors were off the hinges, there were broken screen doors and window shades, there was construction debris all around the property: paint cans; tarps; cement bags; metal, boards, broken screens, etc. What was the most disturbing, was the fact that there were no working smoke detectors on the first floor (where 9 of us slept) and we didn't notice that until the next morning after we'd already spent a night. At the very least, each and every time a property is rented out, the smoke detectors should be checked to verify that they are in working order. Just one was brought over after we complained, even though the law specifies that they must be placed in/or outside of all sleeping quarters. Perhaps all these things have been taken care of now but it soured us on our visit.

Fantastic Weekend Trip

My group of 12 just came back from the weekend at David's place and we had a great time. He is a great renter! Responds to every question quickly and is there for whatever you need. The house was clean, spacious, and plenty of places to sleep. We spent most of our time playing games on the outdoor deck, swimming in the pool, and using the fire pit at night. I would highly recommend this house. We will definitely be staying again! Thanks again David!

Great home with excellent amenities

We were a few married siblings with our children. We really enjoyed all the home has to offer, including the pool, beautiful deck, fire pit and more! Great location. Everything was clean and in good condition. David had a lock installed on the pool for us prior to our stay upon our request (we had young children with us). We had a great time, and would come again.

Beautiful home and great stay

I just want to quickly give a huge thanks to David who was such a great host. He responded to all my questions in a timely manner and even helped us set up the grill on our first day when I messaged him. The house itself is spacious and cozy, and comfortably fit my group of 15. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The TVs located throughout the house were convenient and huge and the WiFi connection was strong throughout our entire stay The kitchen was beautiful and it was nice to have an ice maker and filtered water in the fridge. The outside deck was amazing with outdoor chairs and a fire pit, we made smores and grilled burgers all day. But our favorite part of the house was downstairs, with the indoor pool and sauna. The indoor pool was amazing!! I cannot stress it enough how much fun we had, it was spacious and there were noodles surrounding the pool for people who don't know how to swim. Additionally, the sauna near the pool was also perfect and comfortably fits 5 people at a time. The only concern we had was the stairs that lead to the pool since it can get a little slippery so we always walked with caution. Other than that I can't find no complaints, we had such a great time in this house and we really hope to come back in the winter. Thanks again for the great hospitality, David!

Great stay!

Location is great, only a few minutes from Hunter mountain ski lodge. Plenty of sleeping accomadations. Great room for socializing. Pool was warm and sauna was hot!! Only flaw was parking, because of snow had to park out near the road. Would highly recommend staying here!!!!
