Torreon del Mar Apartments are only 14 Kilometres or 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport therefore car hire is not necessary. The sandy beach of Torrequebrada is just across the road from the Torreon del Mar Apartments, with several shops and restaurants very near by including a large Supercor supermarket with fresh fish, butchery, bakery and vegetable counters plus numerous English food items available. New Lidl Supermartket now open 300m away. In addition there is a large Pharmacy with English speaking assistants just a few steps away from the apartment. There is a bus stop just 40 metres from the apartments with very regular services West to Fuengirola and Marbella and East to Torremolinos & Malaga.
The facilities at Torreon del Mar Apartments in Benalmadena Costa include a large Swimming Pool, (open from 01st June 2026) with extensive sun terrace and free sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs, table tennis, children's playground, basket ball area plus changing area with toilets and showers.
