Spend your whole vacation by the heated pool.....or take our golf cart to the clubhouse for lunch or dinner, play golf, hike, whatever gives you a quiet relaxing get away. The home with everything you need. We put in King-sized beds in all 3 bedrooms, with high quality mattresses, so there's no need to argue about who gets the Master Bedroom. The pool and patio is a very relaxing setting to enjoy some peace and solitude while you lounge by the pool to soak up some sun. Or perhaps you'll like to take a nap while floating in the pool on an inflatable. There is a covered patio if you'd prefer to curl up with a good book, or enjoy the morning paper with your coffee, or surf the net on your laptop (wi-fi included) A street legal golf cart that seats 4 is available for your use to whisk around the community, head across the street to the grocery store (and Starbucks), up to the clubhouse for lunch, or dinner, or just a late night cruise around the neighborhood.

Great stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Heated pool, hot tub and outdoor patio were very nice and used every day!! Everything we needed was either at the house or close by. My husband enjoyed golfing at San Tan HighlandsHighlands

Great stay

The house was perfect for me and my daughter. We loved the patio with the pool and hot tub. Comfy beds. It was great! The golf cart was a lot of fun to get around the neighborhood and to nearby stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolute best!

Gordie and Kathi are sharing a real gem! Five mature women stayed and had an absolute grand time. We used the hottub, swimming pool and golf cart most everyday. The golfing nearby was wonderful. Nothing but good to say about everything. Thanks!

Loved our Stay!

We stayed at this site for our spring break this year and enjoyed every aspect of it. The pool was perfect for our kids (greatest pool toys ever!) and the temperature was great for us. It cools on hot days and warms on colder days/nights. We hiked everyday, played some golf, and enjoyed driving the golf cart. The clubhouse has a great taco tuesday and the famous San Tan Flats is just a couple miles from your door. The house was very comfortable, had large beds in each room, and Dave and Gordie could not have been more hospitable sharing their home w/ us. We will definitely return!

Wonderful Stay!!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. The house was clean, beds and couch were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials (there were even some supplies for baking/cooking; who wants to buy an entire bag of sugar for only half a cup?), pool was clean, and best of all it was close to everything we needed. There was an information binder with everything needed to know about the house and things to do in the area. Everything was as described and pictured. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the San Tan Valley area.

Nice Place, Great Pool!

With the pool being heated to 85 degrees, we were able to swim the first 3 days though it was only around 70. What a Christmas Eve treat for us Wisconsinites! The home is very well stocked and maintained. My wife said there was everything needed to prepare and serve meals. All three bedrooms have king size beds. They were a bit firm but I got used to them in a day or two. The golf cart allowed us to travel the area like a resident instead of a visitor. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Great winter reprieve.

Wonderful home that had everything you need and then some. This was our first trip to the southwest and it could not have been better. The warm weather and daily sunshine made the beautiful swimming pool a real oasis. We really enjoyed the use of the golf cart for golf, riding up to the clubhouse and nearby restaurants and stores. Any questions received quick responses from the Olson brothers and they made the use of their home a real dream. The property is very well maintained and the home well equipped. Very much enjoyed Biosphere 2, Canyon Lake, and Teliesin West to name a few of the attractions. There were plenty of nearby golf courses and they were all beautiful to play. Can't wait to go back. Thank you Dave and Gordie.

Perfect vacation rental. Everything you need and more!

This was the first time for us ( two couples from Nova Scotia, Canada) to visit the Phoenix , AZ area. After looking at quite a few rentals properties we decided on this rental based on the pool, location, and the fact that all of the bedrooms had king sized beds ( which were very comfy). The golf cart was a HUGE added bonus and we used it many times to run to the grocery store, to the golf club, for coffee, etc. Everything about this rental was exactly as described and Gordie and Dave were wonderful to deal with. They were professional and answered any of our questions very quickly. The area has everything you need within five minutes. This was a golf vacation for us and most courses we played were within a 30-45 minute drive or less. We used the pool every day and it was always the perfect temperature. Lots of comfy floating chairs too. We highly recommend not only the home, but the owners and the simple rental process. Thanks Dave and Gordie for sharing your home and for a memorable vacation. I hope we came back!

Great place to vacation at!!!!

If you want to rent a home that is clean, well stocked with a pool in a gated community then this is the one for you! It is about a 50 minute drive into Phoenix, but the views are worth the drive. My husband and I along with our son, daughter in law and two grandchildren enjoyed the use of the home for 5 days. We loved that each bedroom had a king size bed in it. We used the kitchen to make breakfast every morning and we appreciated that there was a grill so we could grill out. There were plenty of bath and beach towels which we appreciated. We had an issue with the cable and were without TV for 3 days which was frustrating (mostly for the grandchildren), but Dave did his best to try to correct the problem with the company. Unfortunately, the pool heater went out just before our arrival and because of the cooler temps we were only able to use the pool one day (to cool for us adults, but the kids were able to swim). That was disappointing, but we do not blame the owners and they did make things right with us. The golf cart helped to keep the kids entertained as they had so much fun driving (with an adult of course) around the subdivision several times throughout the day. There are several places to eat and there is a mall about 8 miles or so from Johnson Ranch. We enjoyed spending a day at Superstition Mountain which is about an hour from the home. It was so hard to leave, but we would definitely rent from the Olson brothers again if we decide to come back to Arizona for spring training. The communication prior to renting and while at the home was great and they do aim to please their guests!

Twice a winner!

We stayed here a year ago, and liked the property and owners so much that we booked it again this year. We meet in AZ to hike, relax and visit with each other (come from different states). When the weather allows, the pool is a perfect way to unwind after a hike in any of the nearby parks. If our schedules allow, we will be back again sometime next fall!

Great place to stay.

We just finished our two and a half week stay at this beautiful home in San Tan Valley. Gord, one the owners, was helpful and prompt with instructions and recommendations. The house itself is located in the Johnson Ranch community and has a golf cart to get around-two minute trip to the course. Pool and outside area are fantastic, lots of opportunity to soak up the sun. House is equipped with everything you need for a home away from from. We will definitely consider returning. If you don’t know the area the location is a bit out of the way so be prepared to do some driving but the area and home itself make up for this.

Johnson Ranch Review

This home is very close to the Johnson Ranch Clubhouse which has "Taco Tuesday" and "BBQ on Friday night". Excellent food and great place to mingle with music and dancing if you desire. The home is very comfortable and has all of the items needed for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well equipped (however it was missing an orange juicer, but we left one for others, Ha). By the way, there is an excellent source for fresh oranges and lemons on Elsworth just before reaching Riggs Road after Hunt Highway turns onto Elsworth. It is a private residence that has an "honor" system for buying his fresh fruit in his front yard. Its one dollar for 12 oranges and they are excellent for fresh juice in the mornings and fun too. Look for a children's wagon with a small sign on the corner of his street. The beds were excellent and ample linens and towels were available. The pool is convenient however we were not able to utilize it as the weather was cold outside. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly. We used the golf cart to tour the neighborhood and go to the clubhouse. Its a nice convenience. Gordie was our main contact while staying at the home and was very helpful and timely with any questions. I almost hate to say this is an excellent property as I don't want too many others renting it so it might not be available to us in the future. We definitely would return. For those enjoying entertainment, check out the Queen Creek Performance Center. They have excellent and fun concerts. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Family gathering

Used this property for a Xmas get away for a family of five adults and 1 baby . It was exactly as pictured and really was a pleasure to stay in . Would definitely recommend to others . Had everything we needed and with groc store / drug store all close by . The golf course is just down the street , they have weekend entertainment. We used the tennis courts and pickle ball courts as well . Thanks for making our Xmas get away a memorable one .

Perfect week in AZ

What a wonderful house to book for our vacation. A lovely location. The pool is fabulous. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. Gordie is very helpful and easy to contact. We would definitely book again!

A perfect getaway!

After reading the description and reviews, we thought that this place sounded very good. When we got here, we were really pleased with every aspect of the house. The pool is perfect, the house is well maintained and very comfortable, and the lay out was great for our needs. We like the Johnson Ranch area, because it is so close to anything that you’d need (grocery, restaurants, golf and parks). We had a couple of minor questions, and Gordie was very quick to respond. If this property is available for our next AZ trip, we will stay here again!

Great place for our little family getaway

This was a perfect property for me and my 6 and 8 year old. The house was immaculate, even had a few snack items in the cupboard which made our late arrival tolerable with hungry young ones. Great layout, well supplied, accessible and very comfortable to just feel like it is your home away from home. Kids lived in the pool and we would definitely stay here again. I was a little concerned that the pictures of the pool looked dark... their pics don't do it justice.

Great Pool Home in gated community

Visited with my grandchildren for a week here. Great neighborhood and gated community. Had a blast using the pool and golf cart. Very spacious home , clean and had all the amenities of home. Great kitchen to prepare food, upgraded appliances. Gordie checked in with me when I arrived to make sure things were good. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Never had to drive more than 5 miles to get to what I needed. There is even a Urgent Care within five miles. Beds very comfortable and every room was nicely decorated. Pool floats and cushions for the chairs. Grill for cooking out. Beautiful courtyard. Had a great experience. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We will definitely come back for another stay.

Very relaxing stay

The house and pool were wonderful. Completely equipped with everything you need. Nice to have king sized beds in each room. The neighborhood is very quiet. We really got a kick out of driving the golf cart to dinner and shopping. We will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing stay! This house has everything for a wonderful vacation. We loved the neighborhood- so quiet and kept up beautifully. The pool, hiking, and golfing were great! The beds, kitchen and living area were the best. We would love to come back to stay!

Kathi and Gordie were born and raised in Washington State (now in Colorado). Kathi is a retired teacher and Gordie is a retired firefighter. We wanted a getaway house to wisk us into the warm Arizona sunshine. We spent a year doing some 'research' (and golfing), and finally found the home that fit what we were looking for. We are wholeheartedly happy with our choice, and we think you will too. You may cross paths with us as we spend time at the house monthly!

It's a great house to getaway for a peaceful relaxing time, play a little golf, dine at some nice restaurants, take a walk, and enjoy some time by the heated pool in the backyard, (which also can be chilled in the summer months). In addition to the 18 Championship golf course, there are community heated pools and hot-tubs, a free 9-hole pitch and putt course, Frisbee golf, a catch and release pond, tennis courts, and the all important Starbucks across the street.
