This wonderful Nags Head Rental Home offers a prime location near the border of Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills, one home away from the ocean, less than a block to beach access, and very close to shopping, golf, restaurants, grocery stores, and so much more.

The owners of 420, Tish's Castle in the Sand, have poured their love into this Outer Banks Rental Home with major renovations throughout. Enjoy updated floors, appliances, dƩcor, and so much more! This OBX Rental Home offers plenty of room for the entire family, with four bedrooms - each joining to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, a spacious great room, multi-level open decks, large parking area, and open backyard. 420 also provides tranquil ocean views from the great room and upper deck, and is a very short walk to the beach. The large decks allows your family room to sit back and enjoy the sounds of crashing waves and the home invites plenty of outdoor family time with its picnic table, park-style grill, and grassy back yard providing plenty of space for corn-hole, horseshoes, and other activities.

Located near the border of Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills, you'll enjoy being at the center of the Outer Banks, with a tranquil beach-side surrounding that is only minutes to restaurants, grocery stores, Nags Head Outlet Mall, Wright Brothers Memorial, movie theater, golf (including miniature golf), water sports, and so much more!

Even though it rained all week and was cold, we had a great time. The host was on top of everything. She did an awesome job. The house was great despite the many steps. Tale of the Whale had great food. Perfect loation to get to the beach, and close to many things to do.

Fall vacation

The home was spacious, the beds were comfortable, showers were great. The upstairs was spacious and lots of room to cook and relax and watch TV. We loved the top deck where you could see the ocean and watch the traffic go by. We saw some awesome sunrises in the mornings too. Overall we loved the house and location was close to the beach. Perfect vacation!

Family Time

The property was perfect! So comfortable and cute. It was perfect for our family. Cove Realty who represents the property did a great job communicating. The only thing we would have loved was a gas barbecue grill. Thank you for an amazing week.

Great family vacation

Trishā€™s Castle in the sand was exactly as described. Peak-a-boo ocean views, narrow beach trail access across the street! Use caution when walking trail to beach the sand got extremely HOT! Even with flip flops on! The home is updated, plenty of kitchen appliances, room for everyone upstairs due to open concept floor plan!

Well Cared For

We stayed for a week with friends we only see once a year. We all loved this house. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and could have wanted..(pots, pans, skillets, baking sheets, crockpots..). The upstairs was very spacious, and the views were beautiful. The details that went into decorating the house shows how much the owner cares for the property. Perfect location with so many fun attractions close by. We hope to stay again.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We stayed at the castle in the sand with 6 people (ages 25-35) and had a wonderful time. The property was perfect for our group. We did not utilize the room with the pyramid beds, so we would have been comfortable with 2 more adults. The property was well cleaned and free of any clutter from past guests. In the kitchen we found the essentials; pots, pans, plates and silverware. Check in was a breeze and check out required only a phone call. The location is perfect with beach access through a well traveled sand path across the street. It is a quiet stretch of beach allowing us to get several yards of beach in all directions. The house is walking distance to coffee shops and ice cream. Restaurants are only a short drive away and ~10mins to restaurants on the sound. Overall a wonderful stay and we would certainly book this house or with cove realty in the future!

Well stocked, conveniently located on beach road near beach walkway. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Large open concept family area- great for family dinners and hanging out together. Spacious two level decks, large outside shower.

Great beach house

We enjoyed our stay at Second Dream. Everything was as described, and in many cases better than expected. We appreciated the use of all kinds of beach equipment, especially the beach cart. There is a path to the beach almost directly across the street, so it was not necessary to walk all the way down to the official public access. We will most likely stay again in the future.

Great week!!

This was our first time in the outer banks. The house is in great condition. We had 7 of us with plenty of room for everything. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, glasses, and utensils. Great proximity to the beach and stores, restaurants, mini golf, ice cream.
