A new take on our favorite place to vacation!
We had the most wonderful stay in nags head! We received a call from the property manager a week in advance, letting us know that we could reach him via cell phone, and making himself available to us for any questions or concerns. I thought that was incredibly kind! The house was fantastic! It was nice to have space under the house to park-this made unloading really easy. The entrance is one flight up, and you walk directly into the living room, which is exactly as pictured the house has an “ old nags head“ vibe, reminding us of camps on the river down south, with its wooden walls and floors. There’s a great big dining table that served well as a game table for us, along with an outside dining table, which was well loved! (Yes, there is a propane grill here!). The kitchen is well equipped, and has a Keurig. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both of which have queen size beds. There’s also a full bathroom on the first floor. The bathroom is spacious and has lots of storage. The second floor has a bunk room with several sets of bunkbeds (twin size), and a room with two queen beds in it (with the sofa). There is also a full-size bathroom on the second floor, which is also large and spacious with lots of storage. All of our teens slept upstairs, and had a great time! House comes with surfboards, paddle boards, kayaks, a dinghy, and a paddle boat. There’s a small beach that leads into the canal that leads out to the sound. The dock is great for fishing!
