This beautiful fully furnished one-level three bedroom with HDTVs and two full bath with outdoor shower and is located one half block from the beach. It is the perfect vacation home for family and friends. New Livingroom furniture and hardwood floors throughout the entire home.
This open concept living area encompassing a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave ,ice-maker and breakfast bar; a dining room and a large flat screen HDTV in livingroom and sliding glass doors to the patio. Off the kitchen is a laundry room and separate entrances
to the screened in porch and garage. The home is equipped with Wi-Fi and cable. This home is SMOKE FREE!
Outdoor space is beautifully landscaped and features a screened in porch with table and chairs; an outdoor shower; a unique paver patio with furniture and a privacy fence stretching the entire length of the back year;concrete stepping stones leading to a concrete alligator bench and shade tree in the front yard; gas grille and driveway leading to an attached two car garage.
Amenities include: indoor/outdoor pool,playgrounds,splash pool,hot tub,lakes with ducks and swans. Linen packages available up request. Three bedrooms all have QUEEN SIZE mattresses

Great house in a great community

We had a wonderful stay. Gene was very good at communicating and made it a great vacation. The house is in a cul-de-sac so our boys four and six were able to ride their bikes very safely the entire week. The community pool is absolutely fantastic. Perfect for a large age range of children and there is a separate pool that most of the adults go to as well. Very close to the beach with made my life easier with 3 kids. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful vacation. House was as advertised. Gene was extremely easy to work with when making reservations and getting information on check in. Location was great. Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing not to love!

Very comfortable open floor plan. Everything you need for a comfortable beach stay is there. Excellent location, quiet cul-de-sac, great for families. The owner was wonderful to work with. Would stay there again without hesitation.

I am glad the you enjoyed our beach house! We work hard on keeping it clean and constantly try to improve with every rental. Sorry about the golf cart issue you had, we fixed the ignition switch that got loose and your refund check is in the mail!

What a good choice!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Gene's place in Surfside Beach! We had everything we needed and the house was clean and comfortable. This was our first time renting a home for a week and we were not disappointed! Should we make the trip again, this is the place we'd choose! Also, Gene was very helpful in recommending places to go. Thanks again for a great vacation!

Love it!

Loved staying here for our weeklong visit. We love Surfside Beach and this neighborhood and have been coming for many years. Love Conch Cafe being right on our private access beach. Gene was very accommodating, had everything ready for us in this house so we could just start our vacay easily. The cul de sac was a bonus for having quiet time on the screened in porch & the grill was also nice to have for easy cookouts.

Needs Attention

This place needs some attention. There was patched holes, everywhere, that weren't sanded down - then painted over with a different color of white. The walls were filthy and in need of a paint job. The first set of silverware I tried to use had left over food stuck to it. It's a nice house, but in serious need of a good deep cleaning and painted inside. I understand it's a rental, but we lived there for almost three months. Obviously, on line pictures doesn't show the inside accurately.

MY HOME IS A RENTAL WITH A SERVICE EMPLOYED TO CLEAN BETWEEN RENTALS. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SILVERWARE RUN THROUGH THE DISHWASHER WAS NOT 100% FREE OFF SPOTS BUT THAT IS AN EASY FIX TO RE-RUN IT THROUGH A SECOND CYCYLE. SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR I COME IN TO DO DEEP CLEANING,REPAIRS,REPLACEMENTS AND LANDSCAPING. I ARRIVED THE DAY AFTER THE MOST RECENT RENTERS VACATED AND I CAN ASSURE FUTURE RENTERS THAT THIS PROPERTY IS AESTHETICALLY PLEASING BOTH INSIDE AND OUT AND THAT THERE NO PATCHED HOLES IN ANY DRYWALLS COVERED WITH MISMATCHED PAINT. THERE IS ONE WALL IN THE DINNING ROOM WHERE THERE IS A WALLPAPER PATCH BUT IS BARELY NOTICABLE.

Melody Gardens Ranch

This house is a spacious three bedroom two bath ranch. Location is ideal on a cul-de-sac. Very close to the beach. It has a screen porch and comes with a golf cart. I enjoyed my extended stay just over a month over the holidays. The house fell short on cleanliness. The floors were very dirty, and had all be washed to be comfortable. The kitchen is fully outfitted but with very low quality utensils and dinner ware. There was a newer set of pots and pans in there. However, all the old stuff was still there, which was very beat up and should’ve been discarded. I used the golf cart almost every day. It was really nice to have it there. it makes an unnerving noise when you plug in the charger but Once it’s charged it stops. Gene was nice to deal with and very flexible I would probably stay here again on the condition that the house has been properly cleaned and some minor maintenance done to it.

The perfect location! Walk out the front door, cross the cul-de-sac, go through the gate and within a minute, toes in sand! It's a beautiful, uncrowded beach that I walked for miles every day. The house and furnishings are very comfortable. It was so nice to not have any stairs to climb; a very rare find so close to the beach. And the garage to park the car in is another rare bonus. The screened porch was our favorite way to spend the mornings enjoying the sounds of nature. There was a mockingbird that perched on the neighbor's roof every morning to sing. Sing back to him and before you know it, you'll have a duet So much fun! I would recommend Gene's beach house for your next getaway. The beach is fantastic, and the road in front of the house is quiet. It seems to be a good place for children. Walking through Oceanside Village is easy with wide streets. The Food Lion grocery store is just down the road. The booking process and access is easy, and Gene is readily available for any questions throughout your stay.

GOOD PLACE. NEEDS TLC.

THE PLACE WAS HUGE AND FITTED OUR NEEDS.THERE WASN'T AN ONSITE PROPERY MANAGER. THE OWNER WAS AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS . WE WERE UNABLE TO ACCESS STREAMING ON THE TV. THE FLOORS UNDER THE FURNITURE COULD HAVE USED BETTER CLEANING. THE CLOGGED DRAIN IN THE HALLWAY BATHROOM REQUIRED US TO GET A SNAKE TO CLEAR IT . THE PANS BENEATH THE STOVE DESPARATELY NEEDED TO BE DISCARDED OR DEEP CLEANED. THANK YOU FOR TALLOWING US TO GIVE THIS REVIEW.

Wonderful Home in Oceanside Village- Great Vacation

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at 278 Melody Gardens. The house is beautiful in a great location with alot of extras. Walking distance to the beach, golf cart was great if you needed to ride around OCV. The rental had everything you needed to complete your stay. The owner so wonderful, always answered any questions we asked. We can't wait to come back Gene.....wish we could have stayed longer. Kathy and Rick

Great location

This house was perfect for my families last minute get away. We loved having the golf cart to help make getting around easier! But also the beach was very walkable from the house. Ocean Cove is a great community. I would definitely consider coming back.

We had a wonderful week in Myrtle Beach staying at this property. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach which was beautiful and had low numbers of people making it feel very private. The property was wonderful, spacious and well kept! The gated community felt safe and secure with great amenities like a community pool and park! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location! Perfect accommodations for our family

The location is great! Only a short walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family. The golf cart was a life saver and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The cleanliness of the floors could have been better but that would not keep us from staying here again. Thank you for a very enjoyable week!
