When we say ā€œon the creekā€ we mean it! This cabin is located right on the creek with your own access down to the water. There is 1 bedroom and 1 bath which makes for a perfect cozy cabin for couples coming to the mountains! This Bryson City Cabin Rental is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. Call us to book or book online today!

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. Perfect cozy cabin!

Anniversary trip

The listing description and pictures were true to the property. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Our favorite feature, and the reason we chose the rental, is the back deck with stairs leading right down to the stream.

Cozy Getaway

The perfect place to unwind. The cabin sits between two curves with no other homes in sight. It is 3 miles to downtown Bryson City for grocery, dining and shopping on Everett St. It was relaxing to not be constantly checking phones as no wifi connection. There is a convenience store about a mile away where we parked when needing to reach someone back home. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch and listening to the creek while reading. The cabin is close to the road as described, but we were not bothered by the occasional traffic. The GSMR goes by across the road on the trip to and from Nantahala, but the sound is muffled by the trees. We look forward to a return visit and have already shared with friends.

Weekend Getaway

The home was very buggy, there was a full and a twin, not a queen, the tv did not work, the home is directly on the road, the trash can had maggots from not being dumped from the previous renters who did not follow the trash rules. We understand that it is right on the river and bugs are hard to keep out but this was very unpleasant at the amount of bugs. Overall, loved the area and the water but the home was our least favorite. It has a lot of potential but needs the time and effort put in to it to keep it up or have a realistic listing.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was hair throughout the cabin, to include inside the refrigerator. The bathroom smelled, the grill was unusable due to it having never been cleaned. I asked for the grill to be cleaned and the lady at the front desk assured me that it would be taken care, it wasn't. I had to buy bee spray to take care of a wasp nest in the rotten wood on the back porch. And it's not a secluded cabin the front porch is approximately 6feet from a paved road with a substantial amount of traffic. The cabin also had a real musty smell that remained the whole time we were there.

Didn't stay!

Once we got to the property and saw the area and the cabin itself we got a hotel room, and booked another cabin. So, I paid for two cabins and a hotel room. No, I can't afford it!!! The cabin smelled musty and moldy. I was traveling with my asthmatic daughter. She started having breathing problems before I could even get the place warm. There was only a wood stove type fireplace or electric(the plug in type) heaters to heat the cabin, and a window unit to cool it. The creek was beautiful, but not worth the asthma attack. If you want a musty cabin, without central heat and air, in a questionable area you might like this place. I'm no princess, but for the money you CAN do much better. I ended up in a beautiful cabin by the river for a similar price. It had two bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, modern appliances, central heat and air, and a clean hottub. So, no id never ever book this place again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pictures were a bit deceiving as the deck was quite dirty/etc. and was not at all "inviting" to sit on to enjoy the stream. The worst thing was the musty smell. We went into town and sprayed a full bottle of Febreeze over the two days and barely maid a dent. Very difficult to sleep. The cabin was located not far from town and was very secluded which we were looking for but was perhaps 15 feet from the road. Finally, like many I have to work while on vacation and the WiFi was not working when we arrived but the office was closed for the day. Reported first thing the next morning but when we returned back to the cabin later that afternoon, still no WiFi and was apparent nothing was done. Disappointing as had to drive back to town for signal. I would say the stay was ok but would not return or recommend to a friend.

Spider webs in the corners of the walls and big black ants everywhere. When we walked outside on the back porch over the creek spider webs covered it so we couldnā€™t enjoy it. Also cabin clearly hadnā€™t been stayed in for a while because it smelled . No wifi or cell service and the satellite doesnā€™t work, they do have a landline but it doesnā€™t work either. I used it to call the office but she said it was going in and out before the call dropped. No one bothered to try to call me back or come out to see what the issue was. You would have thought they would have cleaned and made it presentable knowing someone was coming. Also the queen bed is actually a full. It was a miserable trip and we finally left a day early.

Plenty of towels, paper towels, and dish soap. The only complaint we had was the master bedroom bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. I recommend a new mattress. The A/C unit kept the place very cool and comfortable even on the hottest of days.

Worst experience Iā€™ve ever had

I am not one to leave bad reviews but I want to just keep someone from losing money as I did. First, the directions that you are given are completely wrong and will not take you to the property I had to follow my gps and that finally led us to it. Second, The property isnā€™t well kept and to be honest looks like a run down shack. Very sketchy neighborhood also. And lastly, we were not even able to stay here because the door would not open, the directions said to punch in the key code and turn the deadbolt, which just spun freely I imagine it had been broken into or was just broken, we were tired from the drive and frustrated by the directions and after 15 minutes of trying to open the door we had to book a hotel after all. We had zero service to call the number while at the property and it turned a nice relaxing trip into a nightmare. I was finally able to contact the property owner and was told that the towels were missing and shower had been used and the soap were used and they could not refund me anything but we definitely did not stay there and had to book another place to stay. Safe yourself time and money and donā€™t book this cabin.
