We really enjoyed staying in this condo for our extended weekend in Bend. It was the perfect size for us (a couple) and had plenty of space for us to cook meals and hang out and the two bathrooms ended up being very convenient as we could both shower and clean up after a day of mountain biking before heading downtown for the evening. The balcony looks out on the forest with mountains in the distance, a great spot to enjoy a beer.
The resort really impressed us. There was so much to do there: swimming, horseback rides, basketball courts, tennis courts, a huge lawn for throwing the frisbee, a frisbee golf course, whitewater trips, restaurant and bar on-site, etc. There are three pools and three hot tubs which felt AMAZING after a day on the trails. There are hiking trails right near the condo, and we found our way down to a secluded pond and then a little farther was the Deschutes River.
I enjoyed that it was outside of town a little bit, about a 10-15 minute drive depending on where you're going. Very beautiful surroundings.
I've read other reviews of Seventh Mountain condos mentioning that they weren't very well insulated against sound. And that seems to be the case, we heard the comings and goings of our neighbors, particularly the ones upstairs. But I never travel anywhere these days without a good set of earplugs as I am a light sleeper, and that's all it took to keep any noise out for a good night's sleep.
Lastly, Judy was very responsive to my questions, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this condo.
