Secluded sunny corner lot, bay views from both floors and ocean panorama to AC and wide horizon from 2 level roof deck. Reverse living 5 BRs, 3 1/2 baths, with 5 decks (each w/ water view) accommodates 10 ppl/2 families: 2 queen MBRs each w/full bath and deck; 1 queen room facing bay; 1 room w/2 twins; and 1 room w/ two-twin bunk. Watch sunset over bay from 2nd floor LR-DR-K great room w/43" QLED smart tv,* fireplace and Sonus sound system w/deck facing the bay, or from 1st floor family room w/ 55" OLED smart tv* and deck facing bay. Has wi fi, ping pong in garage, outside shower, propane grill and picnic table.

One quiet block to serene Holgate beaches. Access across street to municipal bay beach w/ kids' playground, basketball and tennis courts, three blocks from Forsythe wildlife preserve. Four minute drive (or nice bike ride) to center Beach Haven.

Non-smoking house. Absolutely no pets. Rents Saturday to Saturday during the season.

Amazing Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, roomy for our group, and well stocked. The location was fantastic with views to both the bay from the front porch and the beach from the rooftop deck. Amazing sunsets! In a quiet neighborhood. Communication with Josephine was great and she was on top of helping us out. We'd love to return!

Amazing weekend down the shore!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Josephine’s property. She was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and the house was just as pictured on the listing. If you’re thinking of enjoying a weekend down in LBI and you have a larger group this house is definitely the one to book! We loved it!!

Great Location!

Overall we loved staying at this location. The views were great and quick access to the bay with playground, basketball hoop and tennis courts, as well as quick walk to the beach itself and a "back entrance" to the beach at the very end of the island. We also loved the several separate spaces i.e. all of the balconies, rooftop deck, garage/play area, and the second living room made it convenient for our large family with little ones. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family trip

Josephine is a great host. She was quick to respond to questions and provide excellent recommendations. Location of the house was great. It is in a quieter area of LBI and you are no more than a block away from the beach or the bay!

Great Experience

Great location overlooking the bay and easy walk to the beach. House is very good condition. Owner very responsive and helpful. Generous amount of food and supplies pantry items very helpful so you don't need to buy every little thing. I would definitely rent again.

Wonderful house close to the beach. Roof deck had amazing view of both Sunrise and Sunset. We fit very confortably with 6 adults and 4 children. We would stay in this house again.

What a great week at a GREAT house!

This house was very clean and stylish. It has a large kitchen which allowed us to cook dinner for 9 people. It has a large table for some long, lingering dinners. The location can’t be beat. It is across the street from the bay and a block to the ocean. There is a playground, a basketball hoop and tennis courts on the bay about a block away. Josephine Tyne, the owner was very pleasant and efficient to communicate with. She also supplies renters with toiletries, coffee and paper products. I have never encountered that in a vacation rental. There are two living room areas which were well used. The three and a half bathrooms were great, modern. The bedrooms worked out beautifully. Oh yes, the roof deck - what lovely views of the ocean, the bay and even Atlantic City! I recommend the house for family fun at the shore!

Holgate Beach House

What a great house! All 8 of us really enjoyed the ocean views from all the many windows. The house is full of light and has everything you might need - minus linens and towels. We had never been to the East Coast before and we were blown away by how pretty New Jersey is. This was a great house for a family to stay at.

Enjoyed our stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and it was nice having extra supplies that were provided by the owner. It was a quick walk to the beach or drive if you wanted to be down by the bathrooms. The kids also enjoyed the close proximity to the bay and playground. I would definitely recommend the property.

Wonderful getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Josephine’s place! The house was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a convenient stay. We loved the location - the bay beach just across the street was perfect for my toddler son with plenty of sand and shells to keep him entertained. We enjoyed hanging on the lower covered deck while he napped and watching the sun set over the water every night. Josephine was an amazing host - she was incredibly flexible with our family and very easy to communicate with. We hope to return soon!

Great House... Great Location...

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The ocean and bay views give you a sunset and sunrise experience. The house was updated, immaculate and so lovely. Josephine was so great to work with... very responsive and accommodating. Can't wait to return.

Lovely home

Perfect location by the bay and a block from the ocean, this home is perfect for groups and families. We enjoyed our wine on the decks, watching the sun go down. All in all a wonderful, restful vacation.

LBI in September

This house was exactly as described in the listing. It was very comfortable for three couples and provided lots of space for being together as well as privacy when we wanted to be alone. Easy access to the ocean beach and only a few steps from a lovely bay beach.

Excellent experience all around

This was the nicest home that we've ever rented at the shore. We are a group of senior siblings who get together every year for a beach trip. This house is exceptionally spacious and well appointed. The host was generous and easy to communicate with. We would definitely go back.

Best Beach House

First time renting in Holgate; planning to return! The owner is responsive, respectful, and reliable. The house is perfect for 6 adults and 4 children. Close to the beach, well stocked and furnished.

Beautiful Home

Property was lovely. It would have been good to know how steep the route to the beach was before renting. We did have one bad experience as the refrigerator / freezer in the upper level kitchen broke which was very inconvenient. Josephine brought out a repair person the next morning but he was unable to repair it. She purchased a new one but it was three flights down in the garage. Unfortunately we lost quite a bit of food and ate more meals out than we had hoped to. This was no ones fault however and without our asking Josephine wrote us a check to compensate. With this exception the property had everything that we needed.

Great Property Great Location

We love this property! The location is perfect. The house is lovely, and the owner has it stocked with things that make your stay much easier; laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, etc.
