Hale Kamaole 131 Ground floor condo, easy access to best beach on Maui!

This condo was professionally decorated by an interior decorator with Hawaiian style, and has Hawaiian patterns and artwork throughout condo. There's a King bed in the bedroom and Queen hide-a-bed in the front living room. The kitchen cabinets are spacious with an extra wrap around countertop for additional space. All of the Hawaiian styled bed covering was made and sourced locally. There is tile flooring throughout entire condo, and the full Kitchen is complete with: Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster and all the necessary Cookware. For your convenience there are several Ceiling Fans, Linens, Washer & Dryer, Ironing Board, High Speed Internet, In-Room Safe, and an iPod Dock. Outside you can expect to find a lanai with furniture to enjoy a meal in the sun. Around the property you have access to: BBQ Grill, Gas Grill, Outdoor Showers, two Shared Pool, Tennis courts, and direct Beach access.

Great Place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Hale Kamaole! Location was great and quick walk to the beach. Loved the cooking area outside. Only thing I wished the property had was a small covered area to hang out with others staying at the location under during rainy days.

We’d definitely stay at this condo again. It’s so close to the beach. The pool is just steps away, (although it isn’t heated.) The unit is comfortably furnished. There’s a great stash of beach equipment in a special closet. We enjoyed staying on this ground floor because of its private patio area. We enjoyed this location in Maui. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

We loved our stay here. It was immaculately clean, came with all the amenities including in-unit laundry, plus boogie boards and snorkel gear and we loved the decor (very Golden girls in the best way). It has beautiful ocean views right outside the door and proximity to great beaches, restaurants and groceries. The property also has two pools which we used either in the morning to start the day or in the evening to cool down and relax. We also loved the that it was on the ground floor and had a patio with table and chairs, which we used for having coffee in the morning, relaxing at night or easy access to the pool. I would stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Unit 131 Hale Kameole

A bit dated but . very functional and clean, Nice supply of boogie boards, fins, snorkles and masks and beach chairs. Well equipped kitchen but the owner should spend one day's rent and replace frying pans and get a couple of decent knives and a proper cutting board. Check in easy, nice proximity to pool. I would definitely rent this unit again.

The property is in a great location and is very well kept and maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. A few maintenance issues we had were fixed right away. The unit we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed for the most part. Some of the beach stuff was in rough condition but we made due. The remote for the tv didn't work that well witch was a little annoying.

Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and tidy when I arrived but on the whole a little tired looking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I felt the unit could have done with a deep cleaning. The kitchen was well stocked but the unit had no cooler or ice pack for Costco. There were no cleaning products for the bathroom and only one dish cloth for washing, when you are staying for three weeks it was not helpful. The safe was great to have to store valuables. The office staff were helpful and I had four maintenance issues while I was there and they were taken care of promptly and the staff friendly. Also, the tv wasn’t hooked up when I got there and the WiFi wasn’t working and the password did’t work so I had use the unit next door’s password. Overall it is a satisfactory unit.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Hale Kamaole, although in another unit. First the bad:The unit is in need of updates and although it came with beach gear, only one of the chairs was in usable condition. The umbrella was useless. I'd recommend the owner spends $100 at Costco to get 2 new Tommy Bahama chairs and an umbrella.We were concerned about cleanliness because there were often cockroaches spotted coming out from behind the stove and the bathroom sink was clogged up and drained slowly.The kettle provided is the camping variety that has to be placed on top of the stove. Very budget.The good:Although the unit itself is located near the back of the complex, the property is very close to Kamaole Beach Park 3 which is arguable the best of the Kihei beaches due to the large park above. There are barbeques conveniently located in two locations and propane is provided. The two pools are clean and have lots of seating and shade. The grounds are well kept.The unit has lots of kitchen utensils and gadgets.

Reviewer Comments: Great Condo with excellent furnishings, super clean, well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling fins, etc. Well equipped Kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Only negative is the outside building light get through the bedroom shades a bit. So its not as dark as I would like, I used eye blinders to fix that. I would definitely stay in this unit again.

We id have one issue but it was delt with within minutes of our call. We have been coming to the Hale since 1977 and have stayed in various condos. We started as a young married couple and then came with our our children and now are coming with our young grandchildren who love the Hale as much as we have over the years. Can’t wait to come back in April.

Just a 4-minute walk away is one of the best beaches, and you get to see it every morning, which is a blissful experience. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The only unhappy thing about the property is that we saw cockroaches.

You’re not far from restaurants and shops and the staff has always been extremely nice and accommodating. I’ve stayed at Hale Kamaole 3 times now and the residents are always extremely friendly! I have already booked my next stay.Our particular unit this visit could use some upgrades as the screen door was broken and they didn’t have as many beach or swimming supplies or were broken.

It’s just a few steps to the pool, which isn’t heated but still pleasant to sit at. The unit had lots of snorkel and other beach equipment available. The kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely still in this unit and at this complex again.
