House is a 3 minute walk to 7 miles of sandy beach. Low traffic, quiet residential area. Short walk to the pier. On and off street parking, driveway is large enough for four cars. Home has hardwood floors on the first floor with carpet on the second floor. Large master suite, all bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bright all-season enclosed front room with lots of windows. Cable, Internet access, gas grill and washer/dryer. Lots of activities for the beach goer, fishermen and shopper. No Smoking.

Great location and value

Great house for a group. Grandparents, two adult kids, and their partners, kids, and even a few high-school aged friends were all comfortable and happy here. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. The master suite is great. Other bedrooms are comfortable, if small. The A/C was great, lots of parking, great sun porch! Huge garage was an unexpected surprise. A 3rd full bathroom would have been great, but the 2.5 bathrooms worked out just fine.

Park your car and walk everywhere

We selected this house for our annual multi generation vacation because it had 5 bedrooms, plenty of parking, and a good location. We were not disappointed. The house has plenty of room to spread out for needed down time. There is also plenty of room for getting together to play board and computer games. The beach is an easy stroll away. We parked the cars and basically walked all week to restaurants, coffee shops, mini golf, stores, etc. The kids really loved 5 hrs of riding the rides at the amusement park. There was also a fireworks show on Thursday night. Beautiful to watch from the beach. We used paper plates all week (because who wants to wash dishes for 10 people) but there were plenty of plates, glasses, silver ware, etc. The washer and dryer are in the basement through the garage and having those right on site was great. The only issue that really has nothing to do with the house is that there is an active train track at the end of the street that runs parallel to the beach. Trains run many times during the day and night. After a day or two we didn't really notice it but a sound machine or ear plugs might be in order if you are a light sleeper. All the crossings are gated so they are very safe as you cross to walk to the beach. Two thumbs up for a great vacation thanks to Kevin and Ann.

Fun in the sun!

This is a huge house with a lot of rooms. The house was very clean when when we arrived. Short walk to the beach. The yard is small, but the garage is huge, clean, and almost empty. We made good use of this space; we brought the outside table into the garage and did a lot of hanging out there. The week we stayed was very hot, and having place to go "outside" with shade was perfect! We had to contact Ann while we were there because the internet went down - we thought it had to do with the storm that had come through earlier in the day, but our friends down the street did not have any issues. Ann was very quick to respond, called the provider and we were back up and running in a few minutes. Good news is that we took advantage of no internet for the day... we taught the Gen Zs how to play gin rummy with an old-fashioned deck of cards!

An easy 5 star review

Everything was described well and plenty of room for 10 people of 3 different generations. Of special note, the sun room was perfect for games & gatherings and the dining room table accommodated 10 people comfortably for meals. A short walk to a beautiful beach. The owners were also very responsive to our questions. All excellent.

not the best

how could have been cleaner - cobwebs on lamps so they hadn't been dusted in a while. home was very out dated kitchen had very limited utensils nothing in the pantry gas grill was dirty and out of gas - we had to get gas in order to grill and clean the grill . road work being done on the driveway side of the house so had to find other parking for 2 days bed were hard and pillows were flat - had to go and buy pillows so we could sleep will not be using this home again when we vacation in Old Orchard

Great stay in OOB

This home is extremely flexible to fit your sleeping requirements. In addition to the listed bedrooms, the front room has a full size futon, and the family room a convertible sofa. The location is convenient to the end of the strip, close to Pirate’s Cove and restaurants. There was construction going on when we were there, but the host and construction foreman could not have been more accommodating. The first floor is primarily hardwood flooring, so we swept daily. The kitchen has three coffee makers, a toaster, a blender and an air fryer, all of which we used. I wish there was a gas cooktop instead of electric, but that’s personal opinion. The space is a little tight, but we cooked a full breakfast for eight to twelve people on multiple days. I would highly recommend, and will definitely rebook if we make a return visit to Old Orchard Beach.

Fantastic family vacation spot!

Kevin and Ann were great hosts and have a wonderful home that's perfect for a family friendly vacation. It was nice and close to the beach to just walk and we often walked to the center of OOB to go on the rides and have food with the kids. They even welcomed our dog which was even better to be able to have him join us for our vacation and experience the beach in the mornings and evenings when able to take your dogs. It's also walking distance to a very nice dog park. Highly recommend!

Unexpected Space

This was a great house for a good-sized group. Plenty of spaces without feeling cramped. Large master, clean, stocked kitchen, outside shower to rinse off sandy toes and an air-hockey table that the kids loved! Overall, a great house and fabulous location.

Property setup for guests, awesome lication

Space was extremely clean which is vital in this time of COVID! Owners were available and communicative, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches. Proximity to beach was fabulous and walking distance to the Palace Playland was great for kids. Thanks for a great week!

Close to easy beach access

The best thing is you can walk down one block and the big beach is right there. So easy. And then there's an outdoor shower area to clean off before coming into the garage. There's plenty of parking in the back. The house is an older style, but neat. We thought the property was a little better than the listed pictures. There are 2(!) staircases to get around, which we initially found confusing, but made for interesting hide and go seek w/ kids. There are train tracks across the street, and sometimes a passing train would blow its horn.

Great stay at Old Orchard Beach house

Our family group of 9 had a very nice stay. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful with any questions we had! The house was very clean and as advertised on the website, and we had plenty of room. It was a short walk to the beach, in a nice neighborhood, and an easy drive to other places to explore. Very enjoyable stay!

Lots of facilities, close to the beach

We had a very comfortable and easy stay with 4 adults and 6 kids. Very close to the beach, 5 min max walking at kids speed. Exterior shower to help with the sand, and washer/dryer. Would recommand without a thought! Loved it! Thanks!

Kevin visited Old Orchard Beach when he was a child. Ann loves the beach area and enjoys walking the 7 miles of Old Orchard Beach. We currently live in NH but enjoy Old Orchard Beach and surrounding area. We both enjoy Saltwater fishing with a local fishing charter.
