The house was a nice property with potential. My main complaint was with the management of the property. Upon arrival and after unloading we started to make dinner and noticed that some of the silverware pieces and bowls had dried food and the plates had a slightly greasy film so we had to wash the dishes. We also found when turning down the master bed that the sheets were dirty with hair and unidentified crud under the top sheet which is quite gross. Luckily we had brought a spare set of sheets and pillow cases. The next day a smoke alarm in the garage started chirping. Another message to Porter management. They did not have access to the garage so it took three days and a door lock replacement to get access to replace the battery. Quite annoying to sit on the porch and have to listen to that. The Internet was also quite slow which gets old over a week. Finally the listing offered early check in if available. I inquired about checking in 30 minutes early and was told sore, for 60 dollars. I passed. Cooking utensils and cookware is limited so be aware. But as stated above I liked the property outside of the issues mentioned but this was the only VRBO stay out of 5 in this neighborhood that I had anywhere near this level of issues.
