This charming, dog-friendly cottage in Cannon Beach offers a prime location with close proximity to the beach and town. This rental is one of six cottages at Hidden Villa Cottages centered around a lovely courtyard with a babbling brook. The rental also has cable and a DVD player.

What's nearby:
Surrounded by other rentals, this home is just a short walk from the beach for beachcombing and Haystack Rock for tide pooling. Town is also a short walk away, offering a boardwalk lined with shops, galleries, and eateries. Cannon Beach Resort is just two miles away and provides public laundry facilities.

Didn’t love it

The location was the only thing about this place we enjoyed. And vacasa customer service was 5/5. The property itself didn’t not feel prepared for our stay. The shower drain backed up on us and almost flooded the bathroom. There were cobwebs in the shower. The sheets on the daybed in the living room were stained upon our arrival. The reading light in the bedroom glitched on and off. The fireplace also did not work. Vacasa offered to move us 15 miles away to a different property but we booked this place because it’s location. Would stay with Vacasa again but do not recommend this specific place.

Overall Great Experience.

Plenty of heat; Spotlessly clean; Well stocked; Very responsive Guest Services interactions. Because there is no clothes closet, I brought my own foldable travel clothes rack which worked out well, I also brought a comforter in case I needed it to stay warm. I was plenty warm in the cabin the entire time (+ there were blankets available if needed). I ended up using the comforter to cover the living room couch/day bed during the day so I could use it more like a couch, and at night to cover me so I could sleep in there and watch the living room TV. The cabin did have an oven which wasn't mentioned in the ad. Due to its location, I did occasionally have guests parking in front of my kitchen/eating table parallel to the street.

We arrived earlier than we intended and i was told previously we would be able to check in early. They wouldn't let us even though the property was vacant when we arrived. I practiced begged them since our toddler was very upset, we had groceries that needed to be put away, our toddlers birthday cake which i transported 4 hours and wanted to get safely inside and two dogs. They didn't seem to care about that or the fact the tv was broken. The location was good.

If you are looking for an economical option in a great location this is great! Cabins are clean but interiors are very dated and could use some renovations to improve the overall experience.

A Lovely Stay

Everything about the experience from check-in to check-out was stress-free. Extremely clean and they clearly care about their guests (amenities). I’d gladly spend a month here!

Great if on a budget.

It was good enough to sleep and cook. But don’t expect anything more. There was a good supply of towels. And dish soap. But no condiments of any type. A bit like a hotel but less lol. Will stay here again if budget plays a bigger role. Otherwise would prefer a bit nicer, a full length mirror would be great. Maybe a working tv system and wifi. Those would help increase the rating.

Cozy set back group of cottages

Quiet, self guided place. There is no host to make the place feel personalized but the quality of the stay seems to have improved from previous stays by other guests. Just a few blocks from the beach this group of cottages are off the main drag enough that most things passing by are pedestrians. Parking was convenient and the neighborhood is very quiet. The space was small but as advertised. Clean: Floors, sheets, dishes. The shower stayed warm after a bit and the water out of the faucet is cold and drinkable. It’s a basic beach bungalow so if you come with a few of your creature comforts, it will improve your stay. Coffee pot, kitchen utensils, dishes, stove and oven were all as advertised. A great place for the self guided. If you are looking for a checkin person and someone to fix what ails ya, perhaps another property will be more satisfying. It was a great fit for 2 parents, a 12 yr old and small dog during the july 4 holiday weekend. Cannon Beach is fireworks free for those who are boom sensitive.

REALLY small

Two adults with 2 dogs was crowded. Parking was good, but on busy weekends it could be hijacked leaving you with no close parking. It's a great crash pad, but not a spot to hang out.

Just Ok

BYOB- Bring your own BLANKETS, super thin bedding. WiFi info posted in cabin is incorrect, contacted guest services and they gave me a different one to connect to. Finally got connected but it was so slow that it wouldn’t load anything so we couldn’t use the wifi. Only one creamer/sugar for coffee, bring your own if you want coffee. Other than that, it’s super close to the beach which is nice to walk to. It’s great if you’re looking for bare minimum shelter, not so great for the price point on this one.

Very sweet little cottage in a marvelous location. Excellent spot 2 blocks from the beach. A few ships all within walking distance. Would absolutely stay here again. One word of caution: The wifi in the email was too weak to keep a connection and kept disappearing and the wifi posted in the unit didn't work.

Quick Getaway

First time staying south of town. We really like how quiet it was and so close to easy beach access. Sparse furniture, no dishwasher, and picnic ants in the eating area were less than ideal.
