Great Place, Great Island

The house was fantastic and the island is even better.Everything about the house and the host was top notch. The house manager, Florivia, met us at the ferry dock and brought us to the house to show us around and how everything worked. She was super helpful and responsive to all our questions throughout our stay. She even brought fresh pastries a couple of mornings for breakfast.The house itself is great... tons of space and amazing views.

Perfect Place in Anguilla

This property couldn't have been better for our family vacation (8 guests, ages 16-80). It was immaculate, and Florivia was right on top of anything that we needed. The house itself is beautiful, and so are the fabulous views from all of the big windows and and the two patios and two swimming pools. We highly recommend it--and Anguilla!

Florivia vernonOur stay was wonderful!!! Our original home for 15 people canceled on the day we arrived.Rose,Florivia, and Vernon worked so hard to open the home for us to stay there. It is a beautiful home.The 2 pools were wonderful for everyone. The kitchen had everything for cooking. Wonderful pastries and bread were delivered daily. Whenever there was a glitch it was handled within the hour. Super care by both Vernon and Florivia!!!!The island is beautiful, people are so kind and the restaurants are awesome. We are already planning on returning to this wonderful home!!The

Anguilla for Family Wedding

The “B by the Sea” Villa was amazing and perfect for our trip to Anguilla for a family wedding at the Aroura. There were 12 people staying at the house and we had plenty of room and never felt crowded. David and Flo were very responsive to inquiries and the pastries and croissants that Flo brought each morning were such a wonderful treat. Our stay was during Mother’s Day weekend and Flo was very helpful in the planning of a chef prepared breakfast, Swedish messages and flower deliveries. We all enjoyed both pools throughout the week but were a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working (was told it was on a timer but it never turned on the whole week). Also, the AC unit in the main living area was not working too well and the main floor was a little warmer than we would have liked. Bedrooms were well air-conditioned and cool for sleeping. Transportation around the island was challenging for such a big group but Gee from Jerry’s Taxi and Luxury Transfers was wonderful and readily available for all our needs. Sharkey’s restaurant is a real treat (dinner and a show) and our group really enjoyed singing along. Anguilla Beaches are beautiful and clean. If you are looking for a great group vacation on a beautiful island, look no further. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent place to seek away from the tourists

We stayed at the villa for a short vacation on April 7-12 and we had a very nice time.i want to start with the owner David Barrett. he is an amazing host. he provided us with information about the island and made sure that staff was on hand to welcome us and make use be at home. Staff was responsive and they immediately handled glitches we encountered with the AC and we locked ourselves out of the bedroom. They were their right way to take care of us. There is an upstairs patio with breath taking views a gentle breeze and a perfect place to lounge around and have breakfast. Both pools are refreshing and nice to jump in on a hot Caribbean day. This villa is perfectly located on the east side of the island away from tourists. it is very private and very safe with a security gate that you can close at night, though you do not need it. Amazing views of St Marten and the water from all around the house. Highly recommended, especially David's hospitality. I would go back here again if my travels take me back to Anguilla.

Exceeded Our Expectations

We recently finished our stay at this stunning and well appointed villa, and we were blown away by the hospitality and the wonderful and relaxing experience we had. Flo was an amazing concierge, which was a very pleasant and totally unexpected surprise when we arrived for our first trip to Anguilla. In large part due to the welcoming treatment we received from Flo, her daughter Marquelah and Vernon, it will definitely not be our last trip here! The villa was not only extremely well designed and contained more features than we anticipated (retractable shutters, distributed audio throughout the house, two pools, spacious rooms and a home theater really enhanced our stay), it was situated in a perfectly central location with an amazing view and easy access to all of the beaches and restaurants. What really impressed us, however, was that Flo was so gracious and accommodating. When we arrived at the house, Flo and Marquelah greeted us with scented cold face towels and delicious rum punch while Vernon carried our luggage to the rooms we selected. Then Flo showed us the well-stocked fridge filled with all the staples (eggs, bread, milk, etc.) along with fresh fruit, Coronas and a very good bottle of single malt scotch (wow!). Totally unexpected. We thought this was over the top until we received a daily morning delivery of a variety of fresh pastries that were always warm and scrumptious. Flo and Vernon also helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations as well as advice on the best beaches, shopping and places to visit. Flo and the property owner David were also very responsive to our texts and emails whenever we needed something, always offering help in any way possible. They even did our laundry and offered to set up chef services at the villa. When you couple this royal treatment with the warm and friendly people we encountered everywhere on the island and the fantastic cuisine, it became clear to us why Anguilla is one of the well kept secrets of the Caribbean and why so many people return year after year. The concierge treatment that we received at B on the Sea. place our villa experience into a class by itself!

A return to paradise after too much time away - more spectacular staying at ‘B on the Sea’

The first thing I would say is that the pictures cannot do justice for the property or the views. We were just so in love with the view from the decks, the kitchen, living and master bedroom, it was truly beautiful. Although this is a very large property suitable for big families, my partner and I rented just for us and we are so glad we did. The amenities, location, and attention and service of the house are wonderful. David was extremely kind and easy to work with. He shared our excitement for returning to Anguilla for the first time since Covid. As this was our fifth time to the island since 2014, we absolutely love and value this country and it’s people. Everyone is always so friendly and happy to hear of returning visitors. David’s team who welcomed us, led by Florivia, were warm and inviting and fun to chat with. The welcome snacks and drinks were a delight after the travel day. We were able to ease our way into our island routine with full bellies! Florivia was truly delightful to interact with during the week and she was always responsive and kind when we had questions. This is a beautiful property with views for days and was enormously pleasant for our stay. We had a magical 9 nights and cannot wait to return again in the future. Thank you David and Florivia for a wonderful stay. We are so appreciative! Brooke

The setting of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The house itself wonderful also.

The house is great for a large group because the bedrooms are all spread out and none of them are next to each other. Very private. It was very clean. The main kitchen is great, there is also a kitchen upstairs, which we didn't really use but it is great too. The master bedroom absolutely wonderful. The movie theater was fun for us to watch football games and movies. The house is in a private area on the island and not within walking distance to any restaurants, but they are a lot of restaurants within an easy drive. Nothing on the island is very far!! The beaches in Anguilla are beautiful. We visited at least 6 different beach areas and each one was different but lots of fun with lots of restaurants, rental equipment etc. The island of Anguilla is so laid back and fun, and the people are great. i highly recommend this home if you want to come explore Anguilla!! We were a family of 16 with all our children and grandchildren and the house was perfect.

Best vacation ever!

We absolutely loved Anguilla and "B on the Sea". The house was stunning, perched up on the hill on a gorgeous bay overlooking St Marteen and the other islands. We were with 3 couples and all had incredible accommodations and enough space to get away from each other when needed. We loved the 2 kitchens and used both at different times. The outdoor spaces were incredible also. It was tough to decide between the upper and lower level pools! We also loved the sound system throughout the house. Definitely a very well appointed, clean and beautiful house. We went out each day and picked a different beach to go to after breakfast in the house. Then we'd have lunch and a drink at one of the many beach bars (e.g. Elvis's). We'd all head back to the house late afternoon to hang out for a couple hours around the pool before getting cleaned up and heading out to dinner. There were plenty of fantastic restaurants to choose from and getting around the island was simple. All the locals were super friendly and happy and we never once got pestered to buy anything by locals peddling products. It's a really great island with amazing beaches, a great vibe and plenty to offer without being built up.

Paradise on the most picture perfect island

This was my second trip to the island but my first to this Villa. The property is very well maintained and provided excellent views without sacrificing privacy. The villa is very spacious and offered plenty of room for our family and friends. It is well appointed, comfortable, and inviting. I especially enjoyed relaxing by the pools and having dinner outside on the top floor dining area. It is a very short drive from the best restaurants and beaches on the island. I will most ceretainly be returning.
