This dog-friendly oceanfront home boasts a private hot tub and stunning ocean views from the living room's picture windows, dining table, and glassed-in private patio, which has a gas grill. This home also offers cable, private washer/dryer, and limited mobility access.

This rental is less than three miles from Yachats, not far from Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, which offers panoramic ocean views from Oregon Coast's highest point. Yachats proper has quaint shops, coffee houses, cafes and restaurants, wine bars, and galleries. To the east, hike, bike, and fish, and kayak on the Yachats River. To the west, explore the ocean tidepools.

This place had an absolutely stunning view of the beach/ocean and a hot tub. Everything was awesome. We celebrated our adult daughter's birthday and it was very relaxing. There were some little things wrong in the house and needs attention but that didnt affect our trip.

The house was cozy and great location. The beach right out the back door was amazing. Soaking in the hot tub and watching the waves was so relaxing.Overall it was pretty clean. I would say someone that isn’t okay with a bit of “lived-in” feel would not feel comfortable. It would feel a lot better if the carpet and the dining table were replaced. The carpet is pretty stained and old, smelled a bit musty- and the dining table has a sticky film that was a bit annoying. Also, the back fenced area was in poor repair with several large portions of the fence broken out, which is a pretty important factor when you’re traveling with pets. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. The negative details are not deal breakers, thanks for sharing your home!

This was a really great place to be right on the ocean and be able to bring our dogs and had a hot tub. It wasn’t fancy but it was cozy and I would for sure go back.

The location is great. House needs some TLC. Hot tub so dirty couldn’t use; cloudy water, Sandy bottom- Vacasa gave me a refund of 50 to compensate. Also despite telling me the property was ready for check- in, there were 4 towels for 3 of us, no hand towels or wash cloths or hot tub towels. I asked Vacasa in PDX about towels and they said no more were available. In conversation with the local property manager, I figured out the second day there was a load of wet towels in the dryer and that’s where all the missing towels were. Despite this annoyance we had a nice weekend.

We love the location of the home, and the easy beach access. The hottub was clean and relaxing. The layout of the house is great, and the huge yard is good for the dog. The vegetation is a little pokey, so shoes are recommended. It could be the perfect rental! This biggest concern about this home is the mold. It was mentioned in other reviews, but I assumed it wouldn't be an issue still. We removed blinds from the smaller bedroom that were covered in mold, and the master bedroom blinds and ceiling also have mold. This house needs to be sterilized, and the carpet removed for sanitation. We adore the home, and hope that these issues will be remedied. If we had booked longer than 2 nights, we would have requested another rental due to safety concerns. The window tracks have noticeable mold, and even the wooden tray tables were unusable. We would stay here again if the mold is eliminated, and a thorough deep cleaning occured. I understand that there are climate battles on the coast with moisture, but there are solutions and steps to ensure the safety and cleanliness of homes on the beach. Hopefully, this home gets the attention it needs and we can fully enjoy it again during future vacations. The beach is always refreshing! Thank you.

Sparkling memories first and second stay

We stayed at this place a few years apart, and loved its cozy accommodations, AMAZING location and view, bonus hot tub and ability to bring our dog. Three generations enjoyed the space and we had a great visit. A part of the fence was missing, without warning, so we had to keep a little extra eye on our pup. Washer and dryer, beach towels and fully specked kitchen supplies makes it an easy stay.

Beach was great…house was not

House was not ready at check in time. We were told by the cleaning lady that the previous renters were horrible. We were told to come back at 5, but was still not done. We went to dinner and came back and were hit with a horrible smell…opened the windows and went to the beach and saw a green flash. Went back in after some timeand the smell was not better and the middle room was the worst and hallway because of dog pee. Ugh!So we just left and did not stay at all. We text and let them know that we could not stay. We had a response that he was going to contact the team and cancel and was going to try and relocate us. We agreed, but did not hear back. We drove back to our house and tried to contact them by text again, but there was no response. A bummer that the house was not taken care of and that it is not habitable. The carpets need to be all torn out and replaced. Again, it is a good location with beach access.

The location is perfect. Beach private and clean! Outside Hot tub was immaculate condition and cleaned. Home can use the annual deep cleaning and dusting.

The WI-Fi did not work, the gas fireplace did not work, the windows for the ocean view were filthy, the refrigerator water was cut off, THERE IS NO BEACH ACCESS as declared. The TV did not work.

Infested with Mold!

Do not stay here. We had to vacate the property immediately. It was hard to breathe because of the mold. This property was reluctant to refund us our full amount even though we didn’t stay there and were put out of a place to stay which left us in a scramble to find a last minute place. I am grateful for VRBO dealing with this situation.

Great place, great beach access! Screens on all windows might have made it easier to listen to the ocean and still keep bugs out. All in all was good for us.

Can’t beat the location

This house is only steps from the beach. The hot tub is a great feature as well. We spent a lot of mornings watching the ocean while we soaked. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view

We had a great time at this house! The view is incredible with pretty easy access to the beach and OMG the beach was great. 7 miles long and wonderful for longs walks with the dog. The kitchen has pretty much every tool you need to cook. The couches/chairs are comfortable for lounging. We enjoyed the hot tub with the ocean view. Overall the place was very nice and the location hard to beat!! I hope to stay there again some day.

The Good, the Bad and the Dangerous

The Good- Loved the location and direct view of the ocean. The unit was clean and comfortable, especially the two swivel rockers. The hottub was great. The bad. Received the wrong code and had to work with a rep for 40 minutes to get in. The musty smell that others have mentioned due to mildew /mold was overppowering. The DANGEROUS. Dangerous beach access. We visited here a few years ago and I don't remember the beach access being so dangerous. Would not recommend for people with young children or frail in any way. No Steps, I tried to go down this enbankment but hit a slippery slope so to speak and fell and hit my hip - hard... I'm 72 years old. Never got to the beach. In order to get to a beach. you have to drive as there is no side roads. Very disappointed as one of the things we always like to do is walk on the beach.

great place for dogs

The location is really nice, though it's a bit difficult to find the first time. The property is near the ocean with a great view & big backyard. The dog absolutely had a blast running around & down on the beach. The house is close enough to both Yachats & Waldport to make it easy to go to restaurants &/or the store, but secluded enough to make for a great stay.

House impressions

Lovely view and hot tub. Shade curtains you could see through were nice. Specious living room and kitchen space. Carpets were a bit grungy though cleaned before our arrival. Bit of mildew in grout in shower. Hit my leg twice on the sharp bed postposts.
