Nice house with a lovely sunroom
We stayed at this house with our teenaged sons and their friends. There was plenty of room, and the house was more spacious than I realized from he listing. Very nice to have 2 living areas so the kids could have their own space to play video games and watch movies while we read in the lovely sunroom. The 2 bedrooms on the first floor each have a queen, and the bedrooms upstairs had 3 twins in one room and a double and a queen in the other. The upstairs bedrooms were warmer than the rest of the house. All the window coverings are light filtering, so it was bright in the morning!
The kitchen was very well stocked. We did a lot of cooking and had everything we needed. Nice to have a washer and dryer. Kids liked the outdoor shower, which was good for rinsing off sand. Nice back porch. Quiet street. Not really walking distance to the beach, especially if you are carrying things, but we saw the trolley, which stopped close by. We really appreciated the parking passes, and as it was early in the season, we had no difficulty finding parking.
This is not actually a VRBO property, however. It is entirely managed by Long and Foster. The people at Long and Foster were very friendly and helpful. We picked up our key from a lock box as the office was closed. There was some confusion about the dates after we got our confirmation - the owners did not have the correct dates we were renting even after we had all the check in information from Long and Foster. It was easily resolved, but a little awkward. Also because it was not really a vrbo rental, we had to make 2 separate payments, one was the fee to vrbo and the rest of the payment to Long and Foster. And then on my vrbo account it said the reservation was cancelled and I could not forward details to other people in my party. None of this was a big deal, but just be aware you will be dealing with 2 separate companies.
Overall, we had a great stay at the beach house, and I recommend the property!
