Unique opportunity to stay at this Beautiful Tuscan Poolside one bedroom with living room and outdoor beauty for relaxing by the poolside or enjoying breakfast on the patio! The pool house is on twenty acres, along with a main house. The property is only 5 minutes to downtown, 5-10 minutes to shopping, golf course, and wineries, and 10 minutes to the Beach!! You will want to reserve your 2nd stay as soon as you leave!! It is truly Relaxing and Beautiful!! Please feel free to read the reviews to give you a good idea of what it is like!

Due to COVID-19 and in accordance with California updates, safety measures remain a priority for responsible travel that respects California communities and fellow travelers.
Because I check in with my parents (90 and 94 years old) to deliver them groceries and provide them with essential services, my household and I are very careful to social distance, wear masks when coming into contact with people outside of my household, and respect and abide by all CDC suggestions. As such, we are being extra cautious with cleaning the spaces, indoor and outdoor, between guests. As a result of COVID-19, we are asking our guests to please answer the following questions so that we can approve of your booking:

Beautiful Place to stay

Amazing host and beautiful location. Debbie is such a considerate and thoughtful host. It’s a beautiful location to be at and great if you choose to host an event here. Debbie checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing fine. She gave us batteries when we did not have them. We will definitely return if she’ll have us.

Another fabulous stay at this property

Our second stay at this property with 5-star Host who immediately accommodated our requests and needs (as she did last year). We really enjoy the beautiful grounds in this quiet rural setting. Meets our needs for a comfortable, relaxing place with large pool and spa plus spacious patio for entertaining our family who stayed in the area.

Great accommodations close to town yet away from it all.

The guest house we stayed in was perfect sized with a good seating area as well as bedroom. The views were great, and we felt like we were really away from it all yet were really only a few miles from town. It was quiet, and the host was easy to communicate with and helpful. We enjoyed the views from the patio and used the hot tub in the evenings - beautiful place to see the stars. We had rented bikes and were able to bike through the vineyards and to town easily from the home. It was as described, and we would recommend it highly.

Feels more like Italy than Italy

Staying here is like having your own private retreat/resort. You have the feeling that you are way out in the country but you are just minutes from town. Our host, Debbie, was knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. Her family has lived in the area for four generations and she knows everything. She makes great restaurant recommendations, and assures that you have everything you need, including a coffee machine, with plenty of capsules, creamer for the morning, and things you didn't know you needed, like chocolate covered strawberries. The guest (pool) house is comfortable and beautiful.

Piece of paradise

I don’t even know where to begin! This property is just amazing! Debbie and Dave are the most sweetest people, they made us feel so welcomed. The pool is huge, clean and we had so much fun diving off the diving board. The jacuzzi is so Hot and relaxing perfect way to end the night looking up at the clear star filled sky! The pool house is decorated very nice , it’s very clean and the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! The BBQ grill was great my husband grilled some steaks and veggies and we had such a romantic dinner over looking the pool and all the beautifully landscaped trees and flowers it’s just perfect! The location of this rental is just perfect supper secluded but close to stores and only a 15 min drive down to Pismo Beach! I can’t wait to come back!!!

Definitely come here

This pool house was the last stop on my mini-moon road trip with my husband, which we opted for until it's safe to travel internationally again. I originally found this rental while searching for hotels in CA that had private pools, but they were ridiculous prices. But then I found this gem and was instantly sold. The host, Debbie, was so sweet and attentive to us throughout the stay, and provided anything we could've needed. The heated pool and pool house are in the back of the main house, but we had complete privacy during our stay and outdoor time, it felt like no one else was there, which is what we were hoping for. We had the pleasure of meeting our host while we were heading out on the last morning. The pool and gorgeous property is obviously the main attraction to this rental, but the pool house was also stocked with little details that made our time even better. There were many candles, tons of extra towels, a large shower, magazines and books, and more. The nice plates and wine glasses and grill allowed me to make a fancy candlelit dinner on our last night. Although the location is in the middle of open fields, it's only about 5-10 minutes away from town so we could easily grab ingredients for our dinner. Any couple who wants a getaway that feels removed from crowds (but still close enough to all your normal conveniences) and looks like it's out of a movie, this is a great option. Would recommend this to any couple or pair of friends if you can swing the price, you won't have any regrets about the experience. We will definitely be back and plan on sending some of our family members here as well. Thank you Debbie!

Beautiful setting as advertised. Hosts accommodated our requests graciously. Enjoyed the beautiful area including the deer that appeared outside our window at breakfast. Other members of our family came over for a swim the last day--pool was fantastic. Host turned on the spa for us.

A memorable stay for sure

This was our first time renting out a vacation home and Debbie made the whole experience a joy. She was there to welcome us to this beautiful property nestled within the hills which gave us a sense of being out in nature while only being 10-15 minutes away from city conveniences. She gave us a tour of the pool house we stayed in, also the property which exceeded our expectations. The hot tub is a must while staying here and the pool house fits two people very comfortably with a walk in shower that we enjoyed. Debbie provided all the modern amenities as well as extra like silver ware and plates which was a great touch. All in all this whole experience was fantastic and will definitely be booking in the future with her. Thank you Debbie for making our first vrbo experience a blast!

Life in a Tuscan casita

This property is on the outskirts of San Louis Obispo in a farm like setting. The grounds are beautiful. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The amenities were as advertised, which included no kitchen sink or dishwasher. However, we enjoyed using the toaster oven, gas grill, microwave, and coffee maker to meet our cooking needs. The hosts graciously took in our dirty dishes each day and returned them washed in the mornings, The setting is beautiful and sitting in the hot tub under the stars after a hard day of golfing or hiking was to die for,

Incredible!

If I could give this property and host, Debbie, ten stars, I would! Debbie's communication is top-notch, and she made finding the property and checking in a breeze. This is my second visit - the first was with my husband and young son many years ago, and this time I was with a girlfriend. Both stays were perfect, and I'll be back again. The pool/guest house is lovely, clean and cozy, with an incredible view of the pool and scenery beyond, and has probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in my life. The guest house also has a roomy and very nice shower/bath. It is so quiet and peaceful, that I probably had the best night's sleep I've had in a very long time. There were some nice touches, such as fresh flowers and thick and cozy bath towels, which I appreciated. Debbie is super accommodating (we asked for a couple of small items), and is beyond helpful when needed, yet we felt like we had complete privacy and the entire property to ourselves. The pool/hot tub area is absolutely breathtaking with beautiful landscaping and gorgeous views of the area. I can't wait to return! Thank you, Debbie!

Magical and More!

This property is absolutely breathtaking in all regards. Jaw dropping pool and views. Perfect guesthouse, quiet, comfortable and very well stocked. My husband slept so well (very unusual) he wanted to take the bed home. It wouldn't fit in our car. How does a perfect scenario get any better? It does, because of Debbie, the host extraordinaire. Her welcome, her unobtrusive care are unparalleled. She is the silent purveyor of all needs met. Her joy is infectious and as intoxicating as is her property. She is grateful to be able to share her most very special place. A place that feels like home. We will forever cherish our time spent there, and cannot wait to revisit. Again and again.

Gorgeous place, great owners

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The pool house is a perfectly stocked and decorated little hacienda, the pool and hot tub are resort-level, and Debbie and Dave are great hosts. Their villa is surrounded by beautiful ranch land. Cannot say enough good things.

One of a kind! Peaceful and relaxing! Beautiful Pool and Spa at a Tuscan style poolside retreat. This is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas to have a relaxing vacation.

Located in San Luis Obispo, this will be your new favorite vacation spot! The property is only 5 minutes to downtown, which has restaurants and cafes, coffee shops, shopping, walking, and more; 5-10 minutes to shopping, golf course, hiking, and wineries; and 10 minutes to the beach (Avila Beach being the closest)! Some of the closest places to eat and relax that are less than a 5 minute drive include Farmhouse Corner Market (which is great for coffee and grocery essentials) and SLO Brew Rock (which is a great place to grab beer and food, spirits available at their sister storefront next door). Some of the wineries we are closest to include Tolosa (4 minute drive), Biddle Ranch Vineyard, Sextant (which has great food), and Wolff Vineyards. Some of our favorite nearby hikes and walks include the Bob John's City to Sea Trail (mostly flat and paved), Johnson Ranch (beginner hike), and Madonna Mountain (aka Cerro San Luis, intermediate hike). We would love to give you suggestions on destinations for activities, meals, coffee, or anything else you may be interested in while in the area!
