Best Spot on the San Marcos River!

Our home is one of the few on the San Marcos River! Minutes from San Marcos city center and nestled on the heart of the San Marcos River. Our home is perfect for families or trips to get away from the city. Host your family get together or spend time with friends, our home is the perfect gathering spot.

In addition to the stunning views and river access, the home has brand new bedding, linens, kitchen appliances and furniture. Bathroom remodels completed December 2020!

We welcome families and small children. We have 2 pack-n-plays, 2 high chairs, baby bouncy seat and a toddler mattress (on the floor) for use. We typically have a handful of various life jacket sizes for guest use. In addition to the 4 bedrooms, there is a loft for additional sleeping space (queen bed) and air mattress (living room). We have a great deck out back with ample outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the river view. Our home is on the river and you have private access to river with easy access stairs. Put your chairs in the water and enjoy the sandy shore in the river in front of our property.

Please check in with Texas State Tubes for COVID changes. You can rent tubes or pay for a ride up the river a quick walk from the house at Texas State Tubes (Closed Oct 1-March). They will take you up the river and you can float right to the home! Also nearby: San Marcos Square, Wimberley, TX, festivals and live music! Also a quick 30-40 minute uber ride into downtown Austin.

You will have access to the entire home! We also have a gas grill, fire pit and back yard games for use while on the property.

We're available 24/7 via text, phone, or AirBNB messaging, but provide our guests with privacy during their stay.

We're right on the San Marcos River just a short walk (4 houses) from Texas State Tubes! No driving necessary, just float your way home.

Home has an outdoor surveillance camera that over looks the driveway. No additional cameras on the property.

Home is also in the country. You may see wildlife while on the property. Home is sprayed every 3-4 weeks. Wildlife includes but not limited too: hogs, snakes, spiders, scorpions, bees.

San Marcos is conveniently located between Austin, Texas and San Antonio, Texas for those flying in. Both airports are a quick drive to the home.

This is a very rare spot on the river! Guests can park their chairs on a sandy shoal in the middle of the river without having to worry about the current.

We cannot split weekends March-September. All weekend bookings must be both Friday and Saturday nights.
