Great Location

If you are in Lancaster or the Columbia are this is a property worth consideration. Great location, the deck is amazing all the amenities. I come to the area frequently this is a gem that I will stay at again

The check in times are ridiculous especially when the room was ready. The area is terrible The bed killed my back it was way too softWe only stayed one night and left Saturday morning. Was not a good experience at all

Cozy spot

The property was as advertised. The only problem that we had was confusion about check out times (10am vs 11am on different documents). I loved the peace of the outdoor space. There was a variety of entertainment options on the television.The beds were also very comfortable, and we enjoyed the views of the river. It was conveniently located a couple miles from town. There is a church that meets below of the property in Sundays, FYI. We were checking out when they arrived, but just in case your stay was on a Sunday, that could affect your experience. I liked my interaction with the pastors.

Great Location!

This was our first time to the area! This house is in a great location! Columbia is a very cute town, lots of antique shops and restaurants! The house was very cute and clean! Great view of the river! The fire pit was a great way to spend our evenings. We didnā€™t mind the trains at all!

Comfortable with a great river view

This rental was more spacious than expected. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the huge windows in the master bedroom which give a great view of the river. As noted in the property description, trains run immediately behind the building, so it was not a surprise to us. Just be aware you WILL hear and feel the trains passing by overnight.

Trains and River

Cozy property right on river and train tracks. View was amazing and trains were fun. Property is very well maintained, clean, and stocked with needed supplies. Easy to find and convenient parking. The business located on the first floor was loud at times, and trains were loud all the times (they almost always come by during the night). Did not try the provided white noise machine but perhaps that could have helped. A nice visit overall.

Scenic Susquehanna

Great location: 20 minutes to Lancaster, 2 minutes to Columbia and less than 10 to Wrightsville and Marietta, both charming and interesting. My only quibble, and it's small, is that this apartment is located next to working railroad tracks. Fantastic for train lovers, but if you have trouble sleeping, could be an issue. Master bedroom has great view of river and trains as does the deck.

Clean, comfortable stay with great views!

Our stay was lovely! The house itself is very clean and well kept. The bedrooms are quite large and the bathroom is updated and clean. There is also a spare bathroom for renters use downstairs and a washer/dryer available. The outdoor area is incredible! A great view of the river, a fire pit, and lots of places to sit and watch the river. The house is on the train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs! Both rooms have sound machines though. The town isnā€™t huge, but a quick drive across the river and youā€™re in a cute area! All in all a great place to stay!

Very Dissapointing

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience in this property. We arrived to a half cleaned place, a trash bag on the door, cleaning products on tables, pillows on the floor, dirty mirrors from the person before brushing their teeth, we didn't even know if they had cleaned the sheets. We were seriously in shock!Apart from that they promised to come clean the next day, which obviously does not make it right and we agreed they would come at noon when we were not there so they don't disturb and they never came. Very disappointed for the price we paid to check in to a half cleaned apt. and all they offered in compensation was an apology and refund half the cleaning fee!

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and cozy. However, the train was quite loud, as mentioned in the description. The Revival church service below was also very loud, causing the floor to vibrate and making it difficult to hear the television. The air conditioner didnā€™t cool during the warm afternoons, even though it was set to 72 degrees. The owner suggested closing the blinds and opening the windows, but they were already closed. Despite these minor inconveniences, our stay was very peaceful and cozy. The view was beautiful, and the atmosphere was very inviting.
