Best spot on Long Lake in The Friendly Village of Harrison. This home has been in our family since it was built in 1990. The home was designed to accommodate Mom, Dad and all four kids with plenty of room for grandchildren. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning unit, a private bath with shower, 32” TV, and an awesome view of Long Lake. Beautiful new multilevel trec decks across whole front of house facing water. Spend most of your days at the sandy shallow beach with shade or sun just 100 feet from the front deck. A private dock allows for easy access to your boat for water activities. Dock accommodates two 25 foot boats. The volleyball court is great for some friendly group competition. A typical night at the Mayflower Inn is enjoying each others company around the fire pit with a cool beverage and/or a midnight swim. Rain or Shine enjoy the screened in 24 x 44 garage/playroom with a game of ping pong , card game or a drink from the wet bar with refrigerator , coffee pot, blender, or relax in a rocking chair. New WiFi 500 mbps. On those rainy days, the property is close to shopping, movie theater, or dining. In less than 30 minutes you will find golfing, river canoeing and camping, old time drive in movie, hiking, biking, mountains, hunting and fishing. We gather here as a family throughout the year and sincerely hope you will enjoy The Mayflower Inn as much as we do.

Another wonderful stay at the Mayflower Inn!

This is our 4th year staying at the Mayflower Inn on Long Lake and it just keeps getting better! Beautiful weather to kayak, fish and a sandy private beach to swim! It was so much fun watching our grandkids and adult kids enjoying every single minute of each day! The property, has everything that you need with a game room including ping pong for our annual tournament! We would not stay anywhere else for our lakeside vacation! Thank you!

Great Family Week at this House

This is our 13th year of renting in this area and this house has it all. The large beach area is outstanding and very kid friendly. We wanted for nothing and the big added bonus of air conditioning in each bedroom was top notch. The amount of toys, games, etc. in the screen room added to our stay as there was something for everyone. Will be back next year!

Second year, can’t wait for next

We just returned from our second year staying here and it was even better than the first. Everyone in our group of 18, ranging from age 8-76, had an amazing time. The weather was perfect, we were all in the lake all day, every day. We definitely appreciated the addition of the AC units in the bedrooms this year! Can’t wait to return!

Lake Life at its best

The house itself was as advertised but the location and property exceeded expectations. This was the perfect house for a family gathering on the lake with plenty of space for everyone and lots of activities. Would come again!

Another amazing family vacation!

This is our 3rd annual family vacation at the Mayflower and, once again, everything about our stay was spectacular (even with cloudy weather, our family enjoyed fishing, the game room- ping pong tournaments- and a geocache hike at nearby Hawk Mtn.). A quick walk or kayak to the Village Tye Up- Ice-cream shoppe and visit to the arcade in Naples + Pokémon cards at the Dragon’s Lair in Norway filled the gaps. All of the comforts of home + an amazing lake front location (sandy and shallow for the little ones ) for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, exploring etc., We would not consider any other destination for our annual lake vacation! Thank you Tina for your responsiveness with our reservations and questions and thank you to the Pilgrim’s for sharing your extraordinary lakeside home with us! Beautiful and everlasting memories!

Fabulous location off the main road and within walking distance to the local stores and ice cream shop. It easily housed our entire family comfortably. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cooking and eating utensils. Will definitely rent again.

Wonderful stay

Can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at the Mayflower Inn. We were a family of 16 ranging from age 7-70’s and everyone of us enjoyed every second of our trip! Can’t wait to return next year!

Perfect family vacation spot

Me and my extended family (14 of us from ages 1-76) loved our stay at the Mayflower. House stocked with everything you'll need for a great week on the lake, and the yard and sandy lakefront are truly one of a kind. Huge private sandy beach that leads to crystal clear water. Short walk to small town of Harrison where we enjoyed ice cream and dinner, We also rode our paddle boards to the general store and ice cream! We can't wait to get back!

Best Week Ever!

My family has vacationed using VRBO properties for the last 11 years in the New Hampshire and Maine lake regions, and I have to say that this was the best! The house is wonderful with plenty of room for our family of 15 (ages 3 to 70) to relax and play; the shallow water was perfect for all of our grandkids and still deep enough to park a pontoon boat at the dock. The town of Harrison and its wonderful ice creamery is within walking and kayaking distance-we took advantage every day! We had one little glitch when we arrived at the house and the property manager was easy to contact and so very helpful in helping us solve the problem. This is a beautiful home and we are hoping to return!

Another fantastic vacation!

This was our third time staying here and once again we loved it! This time we brought along close friends and their children and everyone had a great time. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The only slight negative continues to be the lack of air conditioning, even if just in the bedrooms. It was above 90 almost our entire stay so we definitely felt it. That being said, we still look forward to staying here again!

2nd year of family lakefront fun!!!

This was our 2nd year that our family of 15 (ages 2 - 62) vacationed at the Mayflower Inn on Long Lake and we can’t wait to go back next summer! Excellent, kid friendly, accommodations right on Long Lake! Sandy beachfront entertained our 7 grandkids (and adults!) for hours on end each and every day! Kayaking, fishing off the dock, swimming in crystal clear water, renting a pontoon boat with a water slide for a couple of days (from Long Lake Marina-excellent service!), the swing set and the game room, who could ask for more! We can’t imagine finding a better property in another location outfitted with everything we would need (and more!) right on Long Lake! And I don’t want to forget to mention Tina- the property manager- who is the very best with communication and making certain that our stay was perfect! Thank you!

Happy Vacationer

Great vacation spot for large gatherings. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and lots of indoor games available when you’re tired off being outside in the water. The kitchen table fit our crew and there were plenty of dishes, utensils and pots and pans to use. We’ve rented this spectacular spot in previous years and have come back because we enjoy it so much. There used to be a bocce court outside and was disappointed this year to find it had been removed. Though it was missed, we did find other ways to entertain ourselves. Instead, we had lots of badminton tournaments There was plenty of space around the fire pit area where we enjoyed our annual s’mores. Looking forward to renting it again.

This is the second year we have rented this property. It has everything you could ever want. There were 18 of us and we swam and kayaked and we rented a great pontoon boat and ski boat. The property manager Tina was very helpful

Superb location and lots of space (but and A/C would be nice)

We spent a week at the Mayflower Inn and had a great time. We vacationed with lots of small kids 6 and under and they had a blast swimming and running around. The beach is perfect for the little ones: shallow and sandy. We had a fire almost nightly. There were plenty of Adirondack chairs for everyone. Inside of the house was also comfortable and spacious. We appreciated that the linens and towels were provided and there was plenty of TP to start us off. Overall, we are quite satisfied with the property. I took one star off the overall rating due to a few misses, which would have been nice to have given the hefty price tag: there were a few cobwebs in the corners here and there, we really missed having air conditioning on a couple of really hot days, having a larger frying pan with more non-stick life left would've been nice. One of the great things about the house is is having a bathroom in each bedroom. However, the way the upstairs bathrooms are set up with a door between the sink area and the shower area makes it quite tight, especially when getting in and out of the shower with small kids.

Everything we had hoped for and more!

The Mayflower Inn was the perfect lakeside retreat for our family of 15! This vacation was our Christmas gift to our children and our 7 grand babies, ages 14mo. to 9yrs. of age. My son and his family arrived first. His text to the rest of the family when asked “how is it” was, “it’s absolutely beautiful and even better than the pictures!” He was right! Plenty of room, each bedroom with its own bathroom, game room, marina next door for our boat rental and of course the sandy beachfront with crystal clear water perfect for the kids (and the big kids too!). Kayaking, tubing, paddle boarding, fishing, fire pit, swing set, and great weather, there was nothing else that we needed or could have asked for! Thank you for the wonderful memories! (I should note that we were disappointed in one thing. When we inquired about booking for 2021, there was only 1 week available and, unfortunately, it was too close to the start of school and wouldn’t work for us. Be assured that we will try again in 2022!)

Most relaxing vacation ever!!

We came as a family, ages ranging from 4-86 and all had an amazing time. The house had everything you could ever need on vacation. We truly had the best weather, 80’s & 90’s and sunny every day! We spent every day floating in the Lake. It truly was an amazing vacation. Each one of us was sad to leave today 😔 We can not wait to book again for next year!,

Our Mom and Dad both are the children of legal immigrants who came to America in the early part of the 1900's. Dad was of Scottish descent and mom of Italian. Both families lived and prospered on the south shore of Boston. They purchased the property in 1973. In 1980 they added two cabins onto todays foundation and in 1990 built the current home and moved the cabins to the back of the property. Dad passed away in the late 1990's and us four kids started our own careers and families so life got busy and The Mayflower Inn wasn't being used as much. Mom decided to rent the Mayflower Inn to help defer some of the cost and upkeep. We still reserve several weeks every summer for our families to get together, make new memories and enjoy this beautiful home.

Growing up we were never bored. There is 250 feet of sandy beach. The water is shallow enough for the young ones to enjoy. It faces south sun most of the day. The dock can accommodate two boats up to 25 feet. The friendly village of Harrison and all the amenities is an easy walk or boat ride. Lots of living space to spread out. A short drive to Bridgton or North Conway NH. We always had lots of fun things to do as an individual or a family.
