Both bedrooms are located on the second floor of Bella Luna. The kitchen and living room area are all open-concept and lead out to the spacious balcony overlooking Half Moon Bay below.

You'll love the palm trees in the sand right at your front door and the beautiful views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea below.

Both bedrooms enjoy en-suite bathrooms and comfortable furnishings. High-end finishes throughout complement the chic artwork and design of this sophisticated condo.

The living room also offers a sleeper sofa for an additional sleeping option.

The final touch on this already luxurious rental option is the comfortable rooftop patio. Bella Luna is a world apart as you relax in the plunge pool overlooking Half Moon Bay. All 3 apartments have access to the spacious rooftop

Location

Location was the primary reason we chose this condo. Fairly new construction and everything we needed. Right on the beach means just that. However, that being said, getting luggage in and out (If Pedro wasn't available) was difficult. A rolling bag does not roll in sand. Another downside - sand fleas. While we took every precaution, we discovered sand fleas in the outdoor furniture, so bites under our knees and the back of our legs. Some fleas were in the inside furniture as well. Best suggestion, spray all the furniture when you arrive. The bedding was fine though. The condo overlooks the bay, with some of the best snorkeling on the island. We all dive, but sometimes the view from above can be just as good. Anita is right next door and she rents paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Just next to Anita is Ginger's - great local bar and grill. Ginger and Mr. Ginger will treat you great.

My Husband and I, along with another couple rented the 2nd floor unit and the tower. It was our 1st time in Roatan and the house was absolutely PERFECT! It's exactly as described. We didn't really use the rooftop pool (it's more so like a small whirlpool) - The entire place is CLEAN! We are right in front of a calm bay, where we snorkeled all day! We are within CLOSE walking distance to all of the awesome restaurants such as Sandy Buns, Bean and Ginger! The property management company was awesome from booking to checkout - we arranged transportation for pickup/drop off at the Airport - there's really no need to rent a car, as everything is within walking distance. If you want to go to other areas, such as the West Bay - you can just catch a water taxi for a small fee. Almost forgot to mention - Marvin the grounds keeper is there if you need anything during the day, and a phone is provided if you need to make any local calls! Hands down, we had an amazing time and will definitely book this place again when we come back.

What an escape! Just what we needed. Nothing like snorkeling in beautiful coral just feet from our beach. We loved the house and the area. We will be back.

Great central location

This is a modern home, right on the beach, within short walking distance of the bars, restaurants and shops. The home is well equipped for simple cooking and beachfront living. The rooftop has a shaded sitting area, lounge chairs, picnic table, BBQ, sink and a large jacuzzi style pool. Be aware that if you take the 2 bedroom option you will get the second floor bedroom (queen bed)/kitchen/living area/main bathroom (not ensuite but close to bedroom)/balcony overlooking beach and the adjoining "tower" which consists of bedroom with a small double bed/ensuite bathroom and tight spiral staircase down to a second small kitchen/living area with access out the back of home. The tower does not have a TV directly in the bedroom (not that you will need it!). It is down the spiral staircase in the lounge. The bedside lights in the tower bedroom are very small with dim chandelier light bulbs. Romantic but not good for reading in bed. Ladies, do not bring anything but flip flops or flat sandals. You can only access the shops and restaurants by walking the beach. There is no direct road access. Pedro, the wonderful grounds keeper, will help get your luggage to and from the home along the beach in a wheelbarrow. Basic kitchen spices (salt, pepper and white sugar) are not provided. This lack of basics was a first for us, based on many other home rentals. However, other supplies such as hotel sized soap, shampoo and conditioner, 3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels and enough cone coffee filters for your stay, are provided. There is very good snorkeling directly out front of the home. The beach can be busy at times but this adds to the vibe. Due to the great central location, some people will find it a bit noisy at night, especially from the 2nd floor queen bedroom. If you are planning a dive vacation you will not be disappointed! We used Sun Divers (a 5 minute walk directly down the beach). They are an extremely well run operation with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Terrific diving! Although we did not do so, you can rent paddleboards and kayaks right next door. Be sure to ask questions regarding layout, actual bed sizes, etc. so that you know what you will be getting when you book. The home has a unique layout which is hard to fully imagine from the pictures and written description.

Perfect Villa for Couples or a Family with Older Kids

This is our 3rd trip to Roatan and this villa was perfectly located in Half Moon Bay with 360 degree views. We were two couples and it offers privacy along with great shared space to kick back and relax. The furnishing were top quality and the kitchen had everything to cook a few meals with our fresh caught fish. The beds are very comfortable and have a temperpediac topper on the mattress which makes them very nice. Nice closet space and I did notice our last day that their was even a TV in each bedroom and the living room. Needless to say you won’t need TV. So much to do. Pedro greeted us and helped us with our luggage and all of our groceries to get across the beach. Pedro is THE MAN. If you need anything during your stay he will get it for you. TP, Papertowls etc. He always has a smile on his face. This villa does not have front door access from the road but that makes it more private and away from the traffic on Bay Street. If you have never stayed in the West End prepare for a Bob Marley/Buffet type of day with music that plays along the beach (until pretty late so bring ear plugs or head phones if you go to bed early). Every time we left the villa people on the beach would ask us if it was as nice inside as outside. YEP! Another consideration is that you are OK with steps and no handrail. We had no issues but others may. The rooftop poop and grill and furniture are AMAZING!!!! This entire villa is great for a family with older kids. With a Gelato place on one side and Gingers restaraunt with live music for lunch this is such a fun location. You can also walk to every restaurant for breakfast-lunch-dinner. If you are a diver we would recommend Coconut Tree Divers as they are right across the bay. The booking process was easy and all info was correct. I hate to give such a great review because I may not be able to get in!!! PS - Take bug spray!

Awesome location

We just came home from 2 wks at this perfect location & can't wait to go again! Handy to all West End resturants, shops, dive clubs etc...and a short, fun water taxi ride to West Bay for the best beaches & snorkelling.
