A well appointed 1 bedroom, 1 bath, new kitchen appliances and flooring, this condo is a three minute walk down to Rio Del Mar Beach and the Cement Ship. Enjoy a nice evening at Venus, or head on down to Pixie Deli for lunch.

Beach Get Away

This property is in an ideal location with great views of the ocean. It has a wonderful patio for viewing and enjoying the ocean air. Close enough to the beach for an easy walk.

Dream Stay

Thank you for our beautiful dream stay in Cali. We flew in for a wedding and to remember a relative that passed away this month. Our location was PERFECT for us to simply gaze into the beauty of the Monterey Bay and let it wash over us. The condo is EXCEPTIONAL. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great location with many amenities. A couple of issues left a bad feeling, like the constant noises from the people above, which you can’t really do anything about. The other issues, that we informed the agents about, they said they would see to and were very responsive. The reason I would not recommend it is because for the price, there were too many issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this property 8 or 9 times. We absolutely love it for the perfect floor plan, amazing views of the bay and excellent location/proximity to the beach and amenities. We never have any complaints when staying here although the cleaning is not top notch and our most recent stay there was a broken outdoor lounge chair that should have been removed. Don't let the minor details deter you from staying at this amazing property. A quick little wipe down and sweep and you won't want to leave! Management and booking has always been professional and accommodating. We absolutely love Rio-132 and highly recommend it for the million dollar ocean views and convenient location. We will continue to stay here every time we come to the area.

You cannot beat the patio/view/location for your perfect Santa Cruz county base camp. Can't wait to visit again, it is like home to us.

Needs updates nice view

Nice view and very clean, nice staff. Furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The sofa and loveseat both had stains, tears and worn spots , lumpy and not supportive at all. No place comfortable to sit to watch tv. TV was a bit fuzzy and no TV in the bedroom. Well stocked kitchen but glass is missing from the doors. Bed was comfortable but no slats under the box springs. Sat on the bed which then went thru the frame so we had to pick the mattress up to get it back on the frame which was covered in rust. Washington machine works very well. Deck has a great view of the beach, pier and cement ship. Others have posted about the upstairs neighbors which were noisy and heavy footed. Advised the property manager of concerns and left a day early.

Great location and Expansive balcony

My two teens and I enjoyed the location of this property and it’s sizable balcony. It was clean and fairly well stocked in the kitchen. The access and check out were simple.

Beach sounds & view without the sand

Communication with Lisa was amazing. The deck was wonderful due to the view & the sounds of the waves you thought you were on the beach. We were able to relax & be. If you go down to the beach the way back up is steep but you really never have to leave the deck to get the beach experience. We even saw dolphins.

We would have preferred a real bed for the third bed or a quality fold out bed. The couch was worn but we very much appreciated the possibility to do laundry including the complementary detergent and dishwasher soap.

Fun beach house rental at Cement Boat!

This beach condo is right above the Rio Del Mar beach in Aptos. It's a quick walk down the hill to the beach. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and playing in the sand during our stay. There's one bedroom, but still suitable for a small family. The condo has a huge patio with BBQ, picnic table and lots of sunshine. Kitchen is full stocked with a dishwasher and full refrigerator. Grocery shopping is close by, though not walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed a fun first day of summer weekend getaway!

Unbelievable view

Such a sweet property. Amazing view of Rio del Mar beach, the concrete ship, and the Monterey Bay. The patio/deck would be amazing for a small social gathering. The interior has clearly been remodeled and is clean, bright, and contemporary. Even my 10-yo son was impressed and wants to come back ;-) And Lisa was a delight to work with. Highly recommend this spot.

This was our second visit. The first was two years ago. It’s fantastic to be able to hear the waves and we had the sliding doors open the whole time. We were somewhat disappointed because the condo could have been cleaner. No one checked under furniture and the kitchen floor was gross as are all the door thresholds. It is apparentl that the place has been used a lot and abused. It made us sad. The furniture in the living room is not particularly comfortable. The kitchen was fine in terms of having everything we needed. Basics like salt,pepper,cooking oil and some basic spies would be nice. The big issue was the lack of thorough cleaning. Also, it’s time that the grill be replaced.

Very nice, as advertised

The listing is perfectly accurate. Perfect place for a couple's getaway. The back patio is awesome, we must have seen 200+ whales from there. Can't wait to come back. Randi at Bailey management was fantastic.
