We switched our booking to this place and are so glad that we did! It was close to the beach, shops, and restaurants! The extra beach towels, accessories, grill and washer and dryer really allowed us to have a great time!

Great house. We loved the sun room. Games and puzzles for our rainy day entertainment. All the outdoor porches were nice and access to the beach was easy. It was helpful to have beach towels and chairs to borrow for time in the sun. The house had everything we needed and we had excellent communication with the owners. Definitely glad we chose Mermaid's Folly!

Great place to stay and was adequate space for our entire family. The sunroom is an awesome addition to see the marsh and the deer. The dining table easily fit the family AND the puzzles and card games. The kitchen is a little tight, but we made it work. Has all the amenities and is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishware, utensils. Close to the beach and walkable/bikeable to restaurants on the main street.

Beach Vacay

House had ample space for our family of 5-including 3 teens. Appreciated the proximity to restaurants, shops, beach and market/gas etc. No complaints except for the humidity! Enjoyed dolphin watching and surfing as well.

Amazing! 🤩

We had an amazing long weekend at Mermaid’s Folly! The home was clean and spacious. It was stocked with the perfect amount of starters and even had the most delicious snack waiting for us upon arrival! The location was perfect. A short walk and you’re at the beach access that have restrooms. The hosts were very responsive and answered all my questions. Check in instructions were detailed and super easy! We can’t wait to come back and would definitely stay at Mermaid’s Folly again!

Great stay!

I stayed here for a girls trip, and we had a fantastic time! The home was clean and perfect for what we needed. It was walkable to the beach and downtown which was fantastic!

The host left a little gift upon arrival and was very responsive to our questions. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the location is fantastic. We traveled with 7 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The sunroom was our favorite!

Mermaid’s Folly

Mermaid’s Folly was so clean when we arrived! The house is spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable. All the appliances we used worked well, and the house was in a nice neighborhood. Being within walking distance to the beach was an added bonus my family was so excited about. Very happy with our stay!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is incredibly clean and has literally everything you could need. The location is also SO perfect, a true 6-7 minute walk to the beach, and then maybe 10 to the main strip. We were able to walk to dinner or shop so easily each night. Charleston is only 24ish minutes away which was also really great! The grounds at the house and around the neighborhood are so gorgeous too, we are from New Jersey so the palms and Spanish moss were truly so beautiful to us! We hope to be back in the future, this was a great introduction to Folly Beach!

The location of this house was great! Short walk to the beach and right by the main drive to bars and restaurants. The house was clean and perfectly ready for our stay! Would definitely stay here again.
