Newly Renovated Lanikai, steps to Ocean A/C, kayak, Detached Private cottage

Enjoy a restful respite in this private cozy cottage with a beautiful private garden. The Lanikai Bungalow is a private separate cottage. It has one bedroom with beautiful relaxing living spaces, full kitchen and bathroom. The cottage has a gorgeous private lanai/patio that is surrounded by a garden full of lush banana trees, pomelo, papaya, starfruit, lemon tree & tropical foliage. The bedroom has a king size bed with soft comfortable linens. A/C unit as well as cable, flat screen tv & WIFI. TV is located in the bedroom there is no tv in living area. Kayak /paddle board for rent. Waiver required

The cottage has all the amenities you need. Beach towels, chairs umbrellas, cooler

We are located in Lanikai, steps away from a beautiful Ocean. Enjoy a short paddle to explore the Mokulua Island. Paddle board & snorkeling are steps away from your cottage. In Kailua will find a great selection of restaurants, farmers markets, grocery stores and shops.

Enjoy an outside hot and cold shower when returning from the beach. There is a laundry room available for your convenience.

Kayaks available for rent. It is more convenient to take the board from here rather than having to drive to the shop to make the rental.

Quiet tropical retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a lush and tropical yard and cozy cottage.the location was perfect across the street with several beach accesses and a few blocks from lanikai beach.the cottage is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood.our gracious and accommodating host Lynn and her family provided everything we needed we will miss our new friend junee

Peaceful Retreat

This cottage is in the perfect location. The most beautiful ocean in the world is across the street. Great, safe neighborhood. The cottage at South has everything you need.Tons of privacy and comfort. This is my third time staying here and I’m coming back. The hosts are fabulous. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Wonderful Garden Retreat

We completely enjoyed our stay! We wanted to stay in the Lanikai Beach area and we found a gem of a place to do just that. The location is great, with a 10 minute walk to the beach, but we were in no hurry, so it may have taken longer. Lynn is a very good host and she took care of everything. The bungalow is very clean, and well equipped with everything you need. There is a nice supply of items that you can use to enjoy the beach. The yard is the best part. It is more of a tropical garden and is an excellent place to sit outside and to enjoy. We were outside every evening, relaxing with a drink and sitting in the breeze. We had a very restful stay, and enjoyed the windward side of the island. We highly recommend this place for those who want to experience this area of Oahu.

Peaceful retreat

Lanikai cottage is a very peaceful and relaxing place. The neighborhood is quiet, grocery stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away, and the beach is within walking distance where you can sit and enjoy the sun rising over the Mokes. It is a good sized space with a full kitchen, plus access to a laundry room, beach chairs and towels. The owner is very friendly and available if needed, but also respects your space. I would stay here again.

Lovely Lanikai

Great location to avoid the crowd and sounds of more touristy areas. The cottage was clean and comfortable, great ac and fan system and came fully furnished with cookware. Owners were polite and gave us our space to do our own thing. Wifi dropped a few times but was not really an issue. Would highly recommend renting out the available kayak or sup board to make it out to the Mokus. Overall a 10/10 experience, would come back again.

Our Hawaii cottage getaway

Thank you so much Lynn for opening up your home to us. We had an amazing time. Being able to access the beach chairs, coolers, bikes etc made the trip feel like we were at home. Can’t wait to come back.

First timers

Having never stayed in a vrbo property before, we were somewhat apprehensive but Lynn made this stay perfect. Very responsive to messages, full of information on where to go to do things, and made our stay wonderful. Will recommend to others for sure!

Amazing stay!

It was oir first time in Hawaii and it wonderful. The house/bungalow was clean and neat when we arrived. The neighborhood was very quit and calm. The house/bungalow was very useful for eating breakfast and after a long day of beaches and exploring we would be able to come back and relax and get ready for the next day.

Lovely place to stay if you like having tea outside in the morning as the sounds of the birds are very beautiful along with being surrounded by lovely plants and flowers.

Great beach town

My favorite time was listening to the birds in the garden and sharing coffee with my husband. Very spacious cottage, and quiet and private. We really enjoyed the hiking and kayaking in the bay. The Moke's were very special. Than you Lynn for accommodating us arriving early, for the use of the kayaks and bikes. We really appreciated being able to do a load of laundry and would like to suggest you ask for $1 or 2 for laundry soap instead of having the guest purchase it. Smallest available size was enough for 12 loads. Seems like a waste. Also with the extra fan we were comfortable without the air conditioner. I hope you can get it repaired before the hot summer temperatures hit. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Lanikai Hideaway

This private cottage tucked behind a home had everything we needed and then some! Space was cozy & clean with plenty of storage & kitchen equipment. We enjoyed the patio/garden for wine before dinner. Lynn provided beach equipment that made our outings comfortable as it was an easy walk or drive to top rated beaches. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Lynn!

Wonderful spot by Oahu’s best beach

I almost don’t want to write a good review of this place, so I can be more sure it’ll be available when I come back! If you’re looking for a quiet cottage in a quiet area to enjoy the prettiest beach in Oahu and not be bothered by anyone, this is the spot for you. The hosts were nearby but not intrusive — and the place, while efficient and practical, had everything we needed to sink into vacation mode. We’ll be back!

Perfect retreat

We are so lucky to have found this beautiful bungalow on Lanikai! The bungalow was perfect for our family of 3. It is well-appointed and comfortable. The private garden was a real treat and we loved relaxing out there and enjoyed watching the birds and geckos. The location was perfect; it was nice to be on the quieter end of the Lanikai loop. Lynn was a gracious and helpful host. Overall it was a great experience and we hope to visit again!

A charming bungalow in a lovely and peaceful setting.

I came to Hawaii to visit my daughter who lives nearby. This was a perfect place for me to stay and we had dinner at the Bungalow most nights. Steps to the beach and all the beach chairs you could want, I would recommend this charming Lani Kai bungalow.

Tropical tranquility

The bungalow is a very private location, away from tourists and traffic. The many beach access areas are close, clean, and not too crowded. It is a joy waking up to the sounds of birds and soft breezes. The house had all the necessary amenties to relax and enjoy a peaceful vacation while feeling very at home, surrounded by lush gardens and sunny spots to relax in. Shopping areas and restaurants were in close proximity as well. It was perfect for the experience we were hoping for in Kailua.
