BEACH FRONT property. Step from the property onto World famous Lanikai Beach....soft white sand and clear green water awaits you each morning.

How to pass your day? Walking barefoot in the soft sand, snorkeling in our clear protected waters observing the colorful reef fish and turtles, paddling a kayak out to the Mokulua Islands less than a mile off shore, hiking up to the pill boxes for unbelievable panoramic views.

Enjoy an evening beverage as the sun sets behind you . . . Beachfront table for enjoying the ocean views . . . Relax in the hammock under the coconut palms feet from the beach.

Private back yard gazebo if it is too breezy up on the ocean

Queen bed for 2 adults. Double bed for up to 2 children/plus additional twin bed (in separate room). [No children under 5 years old.]
Full kitchen with pantry. Fabulous and private outdoor shower. Washer/Dryer. High speed Internet and 43" Smart TV w/cable, Netflix and more.

Paradise within Paradise

I've lived in Hawaii for 9 years and return every year. There's a magical energy for those who pay attention. It puts a hook in you and you have no choice but to return again, and again. I've stayed many places, but none quite like Gordon and Vlasta's. I could go on and on about the Aloha vibe, the views, and the amenities but this place is an experience to behold so all I have to say is if you are on the edge thinking about it you won't regret a single micro second you spend in this cottage by the sea.

A hidden piece of paradise

Incredible location, amazing sunrises, most beautiful beach on the island, and best hosts ever. Gordon and Vlasta make sure that you have every thing you need to enjoy your stay....even sharing Gordon's famous Mai Tai recipe. The cottage is comfortable, clean and fully equipped. Close to Kailua for all the necessities and great restaurants but far enough away that you truly feel like you are in paradise. Can't wait to return.

Best location in Lanikai

There isn't much to say other than the cottage and hosts were perfect, you cannot beat the location. Would always return without hesitation.

Truly a slice of paradise!

We had such a wonderful vacation! I'm a former Hawaii resident, and when we return for a visit, we much prefer a "local style" experience than a hotel/condo/resort type. Paddlers Dream is probably the best place my husband and I have found yet. The little cottage was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, from the fully equipped kitchen to the towels, beach towels and chairs, and even a washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable too. As others have noted, the outdoor shower was wonderful (both hot and cold water)--we didn't ever use the one in the bathroom. It was pure heaven to step outside and take a short walk to sit at the water's edge--neither of us are big "be-on-the sand" people (in fact, there isn't much sand there, especially at high tide), and we spent most of our time relaxing, just a few feet from the surf but above the seawall. There are steps down to the beach/ocean access, and it was private and delightful. Gordon and Vlasta are perfect hosts--warm, welcoming, accessible yet very respectful of our privacy. We can't say enough good things about our entire experience, and we plan to return for another visit very soon!

Paddler’s Dream

Lovely mid-century modern beach cottage with lots of room and nice kitchen space. Incredible waterfront/beach access and large private cabana with BBQ setup. Outdoor shower is fabulous, too!!!

Property right on beach with easy beach access. Automatic gate opener, beach chairs, towels, etc. a plus. Owner very friendly and responsive to our needs.. Would visit again.

Loved our stay!

Gordon and Vlasta were just wonderful hosts. And their guest cottage sits behind their home just 50 feet from the water. It was a relaxing time, just walking along the beach, and paddling out directly out from their property. Gordon even taught me how to make a proper Mai Tai! We look forward to staying with them again!

Home away from home

I was so happy when we arrived at Padders Dream. We were welcomed by Gordon and Vlasta who showed us around our cottage and told what was where etc. We were made to feel part of the family and I instantly fell in love with the cottage and our hosts. The cottage was roomy and exceptionally clean. We had everything we could possibly require. We loved the out door shower and never used the inside one. We woke for a few early sunrises and swam in the glorious ocean everyday. 12 days just doesn’t seem enough. This is our fourth year at Lanikai and I must say this property is the best we have rented. Looking forward to coming back again next year, but this time it will be like returning to family. Thanks for being the perfect hosts with the perfect location.

The most amazing vacation

This was a beyond perfect place to savor paradise. Steps from the most gorgeous beach in the world! Vlasta and Gordon were amazing hosts and we feel we have made life long friends. The cottage is perfect, and the outdoor shower was a treat. I would highly recommend this property!

Paradise!

This was a dream vacation for our family of four! To wake up early and watch the sunrise while drinking your coffee on one of the world's most beautiful beaches is an unforgettable experience! The house had everything we needed and definitely take advantage of the outdoor shower, it's incredible! Our hosts Gordon and Vlasta were so incredibly kind and helpful, they also had a variety of water toys for us to use. We paddle boarded everyday, snorkeled and even kayaked out to the Mokes. The location was great for us to be able to walk right to the pill box hike but also to travel to other parts of the island. We cannot wait to return and stay here again. It is truly paradise!

Heaven!

Simply amazing! We had a great time staying at Gordon & Vlasta home in Lanikai. They were very accommodating and gave us full use of the property. The house was perfect and had everything we needed and the location was by far the best on the beach. Every morning we would wake and watch the sunrise in the Adirondack chairs while sipping coffee and planning where we would paddle out and surf, kayak, snorkel, or just hang on the beach. There are several small island that we could paddle to and explore as well. The outdoor shower was a big hit and it had warm water so there was no need to shower inside. There's a Restaurant called Buzzs steak house that is within walking distance and the food is also amazing and serves a killer calamari. The pillbox is a hike that is also within walking distance and has great views of the east side of Oahu. Life is short and there's no time like the present. I high recommend staying at Gordons & Vlasta home because it will be an experience that you will enjoy and wont forget. I'm already planning my next trip and I will be staying here again! Thanks! Absolutely stunning!

When we arrived at Paddlers Paradise, we were greeted by Vlasta and Gordon. They showed us the entire property and all of its amenities prior to entering the house, The neighborhood was clean, quiet and lush. When our family walked to the beach front, we were blown away by the views and instant tranquil vibe that the area had. There was a table for us to have dinner outside by the ocean, a great big, manicured yard for us to lounge and play in and the house was the perfect size for our family of four. The outside shower made it really convenient after swimming and playing on the beach. The inside of the property was clean, well lit with natural light and had plenty of supplies for us to cook and live as if we were at home. We were also able to hang out in the front yard, bbq and hang out under the gazebo. The location is close to lots of great places to eat, shopping and other attractions that visitors might want to check out. There was equipment for us to snorkel, paddle board, and kayak. The place was so inviting that you don't even want to leave the tranquility of the space. Sunrises were amazing. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat. We had a great time doing absolutely nothing and watching nature all around us. It is truly a magical place to stay!

Vlasta and Gordon are pros hosting and creating a secluded, private, and just all around lovely experience! We are Homeaway people who host in Malibu so we know best experience! Their location is the best Lanikai has to offer, as we visit frequently.

Perfect location! Lives up to its name paddlers dream the best beach on the island of Oahu!

My wife And 9 month old daughter stayed at the cottage for 7 days they had a Pak n play so that was a plus. Beach access was the best feature of the property There’s also a paddle board, kayaks & plenty of water floats you can use. The outdoor shower was used every day and had visits from the geckos often. Kitchen is equipped enough with necessities including the blender we used to purée my daughters food, there’s no exhaust fan on top of stove but it is well ventilated just open the windows which all have screens. The bed was a little bit too firm for our liking we ended up sleeping in the couch due to it was more comfortable. The gate is sometimes a hassle opening and closing specially when it’s raining, the water does collect in front of the driveway gate so your feet will get wet when you close the gate, it would be nice to have an automatic gate..

True Hawaiian experience!

Wonderful vacation. We came in June for our twin daughters high school graduation trip. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. The house is definitely a small beach shack but located on the BEST place on Lanikai Beach. If you need a "resort" with air conditioning, a boring pool and lots of people this is not the place for you. If you are looking to experience the true Hawaii on the best beach on the island then this is absolutely the place you want to be! Gordon and Vlasta are wonderful hosts and the property has everything you could want or need for a fabulous time at the beach. We used the paddle board and kayak to go out to the Mokulua's, we used the boogie boards and snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach mats and beach umbrella. We usually ate our dinner just out in the back on the wonderful counter high table that overlooks Lanikai beach. For a great meal just head over to Hibachi and get some delicious poke and have your meal looking out at the beach with a glass of wine or beer! We pretty much never left the property except to grab food. If you get up at 5:30am you can watch the sunrise over the ocean with a cup of coffee in your hand. Thank you for the best stay and we will 100% stay here again!!

Dreams can come true!

What is a paddler’s dream? It’s always having the wind at your back and calm seas before you. It’s being able to sit comfortably and immerse oneself in a warm, soothing sun and crystal-clear seas. It’s being on a body of water most can only hope to see and experience in their lifetimes. Metaphorically speaking, this also sums up our experience at the Paddler’s Dream cottage in Lanikai. This charming property is amply named and checks off all the boxes you need. Comfortable? Check. Invigorating? Check. Tranquil? Check. The owners are Vlasta and Gordon, and they couldn’t have been more pleasant. Or helpful. They provided an uber clean home, all the comforts you’d ever need, and Lanikai provided the breathtaking views in which to enjoy them. This was our second time staying at Paddler’s Dream. And as long as the the tradewinds of life push us in the right direction, we will indeed be back.

Heaven on Earth!

This was not only the perfect vacation but the perfect rental. Quite, spacious, convienent and truly beachfront. We won't stay anywhere else, this is our spot. We couldn't have asked for more, other then more time to stay. The owners were so pleasants and accommodating, we are already planning a return trip!

Great cottage on a beautiful beach

Paddlers Dream is a wonderful place to rest, relax, restore yourself and get away from everyday life. Gordon and Vlasta are gracious hosts and have stocked the cottage with everything you need and if it's not there they will get it for you. Lanikai Bay is gorgeous! The colors of the water is breathtaking. The beach is right there and you can enjoy it from comfy chairs on the grass or on the sand. Snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking or swimming are all options as they have the equipment for you to use. We enjoyed the quietness of the community and cooked most of our dinners in. This was perfect after a day of diving with Island Divers in Hawaii Kai, being able to come "home" and sit by the water or relax in their backyard gazebo. This was great for the two of us, but a family would really enjoy the access to the beach with all the comforts of home just a few steps away. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect Place for a Perfect Vacation!

Paddlers Dream was the ideal place for our girl's trip to Oahu! When my mother, sisters and I saw this picture, we were convinced this was the place for us. We had no idea how much it would exceed our expectations! Every morning, coffee in hand, we watched the sunrise on the most beautiful beach on the island! We had other adventures planned but it was fun to just stay and enjoy the beach and swim. Vlasta and Gordan had many nice touches inside and out of the cottage to make everything easy and enjoyable. Outside, they provided beach chairs, snorkeling gear, inter tubes, boogie boards, beach mats, life jackets, and even a cooler to put drinks in. The cottage was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed to cook with and a huge soft sofa with lots of movies for us to watch for that one rainy day. One very nice touch was the welcome package of coffee, fruit and snacks waiting for us on arrival. The location of the cottage is also great! It is walking distance to the Pill Box Hike, a must do if you are a hiker. It is an easy drive to grocery stores, farmers markets, souvenirs and dining. This place was the best, we will definitely go back and recommend it to our friends and family!

Breakfast on the Beach

First off, Gordon & Vlasta are the best hosts anyone can ask for. We had breakfast everyday on the table overlooking Lanikai beach and watched the sunrise between the Mokes. The kitchen is well stocked with condiments & pots/pans so you can prepare meals if that is your thing. The cottage is older, but well kept and above all, very clean. Beach access is at the end of the property down a few steps. You will feel the "Ohana" here. Aloha Gordon & Vlasta!

Loved waking up to this amazing view every day

We absolutely loved our stay here! Vlasta and Gordon were so nice and helpful! There were four of us that stayed here and we loved being so close to the beach! The cottage came with every thing we needed and Vlasta graciously let us use any of her items for the beach: chairs, floaties, you name it. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise every day!

Our family of four (2 children) just completed a wonderful vacation on Lanikai with Gordon and Vlasta as our hosts. You cannot pick a better place to stay if you love the beach. The cottage was perfect for our family of four and we took full advantage of the multiple places to eat outdoors while taking in the lovely scenery. Snorkeling and swimming at Lanikai beach is fantastic. Gordon and Vlasta are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and treated us like "ohana" from day one.
