Oceanfront House - 'Best Patio' In Mission Beach, Pet Friendly!

Single story Family oriented home with Cabana (shed).

The house has many returning guests. Many are multi-generational families.

3 Bedroom 2 Bath detached house - sleeps 7: 1 king in the master bedroom, 1 queen in the center bedroom, 1 single and 2 twin (as staked bunkbeds) in the corner bedroom.

Additionally, there is a roll-away bed, 1 cot, and 2 inflatable mattresses which may be used in the different bedrooms. And in the cabana (shed), there is a futon. There is a Graco Pack 'n Play with extra mattress and sheets for infants.

The Candelore family is happy to offer the home as a year-round vacation rental.

It is one of the few single story homes left on the boardwalk. There are only 2 steps to climb. The house does not share walls or floor with any other unit. There are no units above or below!

There is off-street parking for 2 large SUVs for the house.

Smart LG TV with popular streaming apps already installed and ready to go: Netflix, PrimeVideo, YouTube TV, SlingTV and many others.

There is a small cabana (shed) that opens towards the ocean (boardwalk side) and also to an enclosed patio area.

The cabana (shed) features a futon, Vizio TV, and the following 'toys': boogie boards, corn hole game, foam surfboard, and a number of infant sand toys.

We have two 10x10 pop-ups deployed in front of the house. One has a picnic table with party lights. The other has 2 sofas and a coffee table. It is possible to just "sit" and watch the ocean for many hours and not get sun-burned. Also, during winter months, the pop-ups shelter against "heavy fog" coming off the water ... We have electrical outlets on the patio to power your gadgets.

Enjoy reading the paper, sipping coffee, while looking out on the breaking surf! The are dolphins!

The city usually places their portable lifeguard station, #17, right at El Carmel Place or a block away to the South. This means that during the summer there will be a lifeguard close to the house. This is good for younger children!

Maximum number of people in the deck area is 15 people.

The Beach House was an amazing place to stay. The claim “Best patio in Mission Beach” was true to the core! Great outdoor space with plenty of seating to hang out and watch the beautiful sunset every evening; this place did not disappoint. We did not have any issues or troubles with anything over our entire weeks stay. It was clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed. The beach amenities were very convenient. We would absolutely book with Brent again!!

We loved the location right on the beach. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the ocean view. We were able to walk to coffee, dining, bars and shops. The host stopped by to make sure all was ok upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, relaxing beach house!

The house was great! The rooms were super cozy and the spot is conveniently in the middle of balboa park and the pier at the other end. The kitchen had everything and was easy to use, as well as all other appliances. The gazebo could use a once over, but the rest of the property was perfect!

Wonderful stay!

Amazing location. The property had everything we needed. It was kept very clean, especially considering it’s a beach front property. The beds and furniture was comfortable, and we really appreciated that it was pet friendly and had all the amenities we needed. The host was friendly and easy to work with. We can’t say enough good things about the place and the location. We hope to stay again soon and would highly recommend!

Friends getaway

Great patio. Updated kitchen. My friends had a great time in this house . I was in the Campbell house so it was fun to have such a back and forth experience with the two house's. It is such a great location and very quiet compared to South Mission Beach but just a short walk to Belmont Park.

Never a Bad Time at the Best Patio Home

I have lost count on how many times we have stayed at this location and as always - we had a great time! We had one mishap w/ the cabana lock on our last day but Brant came to the property and fixed it for us. And there weren't any trash bags & not many rolls of toilet paper so we stopped at the store to get some - but it wasn't that big of a deal that I would knock off a star. His place has everything that we need when we come to visit. Plenty of space for sleeping, tons of space on the patio, coffee cups & pot for morning joes, fridge for food and drinks, laundry facilities, corn hole, beach toys, chairs and towels, blankets for the chilly nights, they have it all. We are already discussing when we are going to plan another trip.

Fabulous Location!

You can't beat the location of this cottage style home right on the Boardwalk of Mission Beach. We arrived with our 3 older teens during spring break. The home is older, but well cared for. Some upgrades have been made, like new beds, windows, dinnerware and serving pieces, while the bathrooms, bath towels and some kitchen appliances are showing their age. The large deck right on the Boardwalk/ beach is a big plus as many of the newer, remodeled condos and homes don't have near this much space. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the parade of walkers, joggers and bikers. The listing said there were bikes, and we found 3 old ones in the back that the kids borrowed although we weren't sure if they belonged to the long term tenants or were for our use. The owners were accommodating and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous house right on the Ocean Walk, looking at the beach and waves all day. Perfect location - just a short walk from restaurants and shops but a quiet area of beachfront condos and homes. We lived on that porch with covered seating and a dining table - every detail has been thought through. The fire pits were so easy to use. The front porch also includes a space for the studio apartment; the people who stayed there were so friendly and nice. The house was great for inviting friends to stay a night or two with one bedroom having an attached bathroom, also accessible from the kitchen side. Amazing kitchen. The 2 parking spaces were such a luxury! The courtyard was perfect for our large pup - he could be off leash safely there. Brant was so helpful and always just a text away. We had a little difficulty with the back door code, and he came over to help us and even replaced the batteries in the bubble machine! Love the hardwood floors in the bedrooms. While the main bath was in between 2 bedrooms, the setup worked great for us. Our only complaint was the house said it had cable (it had lots of streaming accounts), but we managed to stream our home service there to watch the final game of the World Series. A wonderful home. I can’t say enough positive things about it. We’d love to come back for another stay.

Rooms were nice neat and clean. Host was very accommodating. I couldn't ask for a better ocean front view than this house at this location. I look forward to booking another visit here next year again.

Perfect Beach Front Cottage

We had a wonderful time. The location is amazing - right on the beach. The house has everything you need. Comfortable, clean, great parking and well equipped. Brant, the owner is super friendly and easy to work with. Everything was perfect. We can't wait to return.
