Lake Seminole rental.Come and be refreshed beside the still waters on Lake Seminole. Enjoy some of the best fishing, hunting, recreational water sports and skiing in the South. Nestled between Spring Creek and Fish Pond on Lake Seminole in the Cypress Pond area, close to Seminole State Park,

Seminole State Park is less than 5 minutes away by boat or by land where there is a beach, playground, hiking trails and boat ramps. The wildlife management area and Duck Refuge are also less than 5 minutes away. The central location is great for all that Lake Seminole has to offer.

Our newer three bedroom, two bath house (picture taken May 2020) with every amenity, including a covered boat dock, kayaks, swings,hammock, and picnic table is waiting for you to come and enjoy! With several restaurants nearby this is the perfect cozy getaway. Just bring your suitcase.

Perfect Spot for Your Vacation: The Lake Seminole vacation home is in a perfect location for your next vacation. We have something for everyone. Bait/tackle/fuel is 2 miles away at Sonny's or Faiths at the 4 way stop for the fisherman or boater. Seminole State Park is 5 minutes away with hiking, swimming, skiing and beaches. You are within an hour of Tallahassee, Florida, Dothan, Alabama, Thomasville, Georgia and within 2 hours of Florida's most beautiful beaches at Panama City. Bainbridge and Donalsonville are 20 minutes away. In Bainbridge you can find Wal Mart, restaurants, bowling, roller skating, antiquing and movies. Donalsonville provides you with restaurants and some antique shops as well as some junk and treasure adventures. Indian Mounds, Swamp Gravy Theater, Concerts and Bluegrass Festivals are great day trips.

Golf Anyone?: There is a course in Bainbridge and Colquit. They welcome visitors.

Rest and Relax: Our Lake Seminole rental is just a great place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of this world. Birds of all shapes and sizes are always present. Otters have played in front of our boat house several mornings. Ospreys make their nest right in front of our boat house. The sunsets are often too beautiful for words. Come enjoy and be refreshed.

Seemed like we were being monitored constantly and even the previous customer log book had mentioned cameras in house to be fair warned. It was nice place and was clean but never got over the customer log about the cameras. Also had medication taken from vehicle on last night stay. Admittedly the truck was left open but critical medication only was taken from the vehicle but nothing else was bothered.

We had a most lovely stay, everything we needed, and the place was spotless. Clarence was a perfect "co-host"! Comfortable beds, beautiful view and backyard. We enjoyed watching the sunsets off the docks. Great location hub for visiting Florida Caverns, we also ventured over to Dothan, AL and up to Providence Canyon.in.GA. We had a lovely dinner at Big Jim's. Thank you so much! We highly recommend this VRBO if you're looking.

Everything needed to cook with including some common spices, everything was clean and neatly stored. Washer and dryer was a welcome convenience. Very nice outdoor space and pet friendly. Will recommend to friends and family.Loved the host cat, Clarence!

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and comfortable! The only thing that would have been good to know is that the property is located on a dirt road. Although it was a short distance, it was a mess during the heavy rain we received during our stay. We were glad we decided to go in our truck!

It was so quiet and such a beautiful little lake view spot. Clarence, the cat was a big hit and Sam could not have been any more nice or welcoming. This is a classic fishing lake house with taxidermy bass on the walls and plenty of good strong coffee in the cabinet. Just ideal. If you can get booked with a guy and do some of the best fishing that you can do. Canoes and kayaks are included and my only wish was that it was cooler so we could sit around an outdoor fire and make sā€™mores.

The Lakehouse was exactly what we needed! It was so peaceful there. We loved having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the dock. The lake was serene, and the yard was so beautiful. The accommodations were fantastic - plenty of space to relax, a comfortable bed to sleep in, and a well-stocked kitchen. Sam is a great host and it was so awesome to meet him in person. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Check in was extremely easy! The house was very clean, no complaints. The only issue we had was with the coffee pot. We had a time trying to figure it out that it needed a plate to go under the carafe. We also couldnā€™t get it to brew a full pot. It needs directions or I recommend a new coffee pot. Restaurant options are very limited nearby. Great space for a family.

We stayed at Samā€™s place for a week and had a great time! He was a great host and the early mornings on the dock swing provided the calm I was looking for on our trip. Clarence was a perfect fire-side companion, and our son fished off the dock almost non-stop. He was able to catch some crappie and blue gill. Definitely recommend having Paul or one of Samā€™s other fishing guides take you out on the lake during your stay. We also enjoyed a trip to Dothan Alabama and loved their downtown (Mural City Coffee & KBCā€™s for lunch), Rayā€™s Lake, and Big Jimā€™s for dinner. We will absolutely stay here again!

We highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! There were lots of games, WiFi, great tv channel options, a canoe, kayaks, and even a handsome cat, Clarence for our entertainment while not on our pontoon! Our host was also amazing!

Family getaway

My family and I enjoyed the weekend getaway to the lake house. The house comfortably accommodated my husband and I, two adult children and our eleven year old. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. The lake view was a bit disappointing. No luck with fishing off the dock. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving get away

Cool property, quiet and on the lake. We relaxed, played board games, and went on the kayaks. Owner was friendly and helpful took time to answer a few smal. Questions I had. Very relaxing and ā€œcozyā€ there is a darn cool neighborhood cat that will say hello by the fire pit if you like beauty and peace and quiet, itā€™s a good spot for it!

Althoughone of the most beautiful places to live, the winters are very cold and perfect reason to head to the warm south and Lake Seminole. After a fishing vacation I truly fell in love with the lakes, scenery and people.
