This cottage sits on beautiful Lake Seminole with wildlife views for morning coffee sunrises ☕️ and beverage views for captivating sunsets 🥂 From the private screened back porch you can gaze from a rocking chair or from a relaxing seat in the Hottub. This cottage has 2 gates on a circular driveway to allow easy entrance and exit for multiple boats and trailers, with plenty of additional parking. There are several nearby boat landings that are a quick boat ride to our dock with lift. This cottage has an open floor concept, great for family and friends. We offer several fire pits and have a wood burning fireplace in the living room. This property as well has our next door “Tiny Cabin”vacation rental enclosed in the same fence. The cabin has its own private driveway and gate. This makes it convenient when multiple friends and family want to vacation together with separate quarters. This property will warm your heart, and is a return favorite year after year for many singles, couples and families💕

Relaxing Weekend

The property was incredible and very clean. It was very peaceful sitting on the porch, watching the sun set and listening to the ducks. I didn't have a boat but the dock and boat house are perfect for water access.

A relaxing getaway

We spent a relaxing week on the lake in a peaceful setting. The house is clean and comfortable. The view is terrific, especially at sunset. Hard to find a better place to read a good book than on the dock. Great food at the area restaurants. Debbie is a great host and always just a text away to answer any questions. We look forward to returning.

Piece of Quiet

This was a wonderful place to stay, wake up watching the ducks on the water and it was so peaceful. The owner is especially helpful and communicated with us so we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!

Wonderful home on Lake Seminole

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful place to spend several days on Lake Seminole. Debbie was a wonderful host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as expected. We had a wonderful time at this lake house and hope to return again soon!

Amazing weekend

We absolutely loved our stay here and will book again without a doubt, the owner was the best we came a day early and she even found us a place to stay that was cheaper than hotels. But this place is just amazing and beautiful and was so so peaceful. Just can’t say enough about it and anyone looking for a place this is it. Thank you so much for an awesome weekend!

Great weekend getaway!!!

Great relaxing weekend directly on the lake with a boathouse/dock the weather was terrible but this place has a large screened area with a hot tub an TV that made for a wonderful getaway despite rain and not being able to enjoy the lake will definitely be back!!! The host Deborah was awesome to deal with and responded any time I text her!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

Quiet Retreat

This place checked all the boxes for what I wanted to get out of my vacation. The property was remote but still in a neighborhood so I was away from crowds but not isolated. The kitchen (with working sink) was fully equipped - I even baked cookies one day. There were throw blankets and heaters on the porch to sit out back comfortably and enjoy the peace of the lake, the antics of the ducks, and the beautiful sunsets. There were 2 firepits to sit out at night and see the stars. The property was fully fenced in so my dog was able to run off leash and smell things to her heart's content! The next door neighbor and her dog were friendly but not intrusive. Other than a day trip to nearby Seminole Park we did not leave the house. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is a great choice! Debbie called me before I arrived to give me info on how to get in and make sure I didn't have any questions. After I was on my way home, she texted to let me know I had left something behind, and she went out of her way to box it up and send it back to me. She made it clear she was available if I needed anything, but she did not hover. I would definitely consider going back, maybe in the summer to take advantage of more water activities.

Perfect Christmas Getaway!

Santa delivered this year with a cozy Christmas! Deb made my hubby, our pup and me feel so welcome in her lovely home. The cottage, exactly as described, had extra touches like the beautiful tree and decor and a fire laid for us in the fireplace with extra firewood. It was hotel luxury at home, we loved the shower! The bed was so comfy! The back deck was a sweet spot every morning with hot coffee and watching the ducks swim in the lake. Also our puppy Jack fell in love with the neighbors sweet dog and we enjoyed watching them play through the fence. The hot tub was wonderful as well. Hubby loved the Blackstone grill! The owner Deb provided everything we could need in the well-equipped kitchen for me to make several holiday meals. We also enjoyed the local eateries being very happy with Sunny's deli! Wonderful burgers and catfish! I would not hesitate to book this piece of heaven again for our next fishing getaway! Kara S.

Superhost turned into a nightmare

The only kitchen sink was not draining/garbage disposal broken before arrival, we let the owner know immediately upon arrival. Handyman was very unreliable, then showed up unexpectedly a day after scheduled maintenance. As a result we left early. We were promised a full refund, then refused a refund numerous times resulting in a case opened with VRBO over this issue. Regardless of all of our proof and cooperation, the owner Debbie was completely unprofessional and non-compliant. The house WiFi does not work anywhere other than the dock. There is another rental cabin on the property we were not notified of so someone could be staying there on the same property with you (thankfully no one was there during our stay!) There is no privacy as the neighbors are always outside with their dog barking. The surrounding areas don’t offer much dining so if you have an issue with the sink and can’t cook, it will be hard to eat out (as we had to experience). If you have any issues at all, don’t expect anyone to come out and help. Debbie is very rude when handling issues and will tell you to never call her again then proceed to hang up on you. This vacation for my wife’s recent health issues turned into a nightmare I wouldn’t wish on anyone and just led to more stress and issues. We need a vacation after this vacation nightmare.

Wish I’d gone sooner!

Everything was wonderful. The house is great, location is great and lake is beautiful…but, Hostess (Debbie) is beyond wonderful. She communicated with me prior and during the stay, but was never intrusive. She is the sort of KIND that you want to be friends with. Thank you, Debbie, for everything.

You are directly on lake front property and have a beautiful view from the porch, dock or yard to enjoy wildlife up close. The inside is cosey and large enough to be a home for great entertaining family and friends.
