Flagstaff family & pet friendly - 20 minutes to Adventure Park!

Our house offers a true mountain retreat. This house is 1450 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The front and back yards are fully landscaped and the back yard includes a 500 sq ft patio – the perfect place to relax and enjoy a Flagstaff summer. The community park is within walking distance and features 4+ acres of grass, a jungle gym, and basketball courts. The community backs the Kaibab National Forest and offers plenty of outdoor activities including biking, hiking, off-roading, skiing, and sledding. Nearby popular local attractions like the Polar Express, the North Pole Experience, the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park, Bearizona, and the Deer Farm are sure to be a hit for all ages!

The kitchen has updated high-end appliances including a Bosch dishwasher, glass top electric stove and oven, 1200 watt microwave, refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishes including pots and pans, coffee maker, and seating for 8. The living room has a love seat, sofa sleeper, and a 60” LED LCD flat panel tv with Netflix and Amazon Prime video. The master bedroom has a king bed with dresser, night stand, and walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is perfect for kids with 2 twin beds, a night stand, and closet. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, night stands, a dresser, desk and chair, computer monitor, and a closet. Both bathrooms are full baths with bathtub/shower combinations. We will provide enough linens for each guest to have 1 towel and 1 wash cloth.

A recent upgrade at this rental is central A/C. Most of the time Summer in Flagstaff is mild and guests can simply open up the house each evening to enjoy the cool mountain air, but for those times when temperatures soar, we've got it covered!

The house is baby or toddler friendly with a high chair, pack-and-play, stroller, 2 baby gates, electrical safety plugs, and safety door locks available. We have children and have stayed at many vacation rentals, so we know how difficult it can be to travel with them!

My family had a wonderful stay in a comfortable home. The host was amazing, with excellent communication, and they even let us check in a little early when we beat the traffic that navigation had promised! Home had everything we needed as a family of 5 1 furry family member. Lots of space inside, and my kids and dog loved the large backyard! Would absolutely book this home again in the future!

Great stay, only hiccup was the house not being fully cleaned prior to arrival, but the hosts were very apologetic and got the house cleaned immediately. We really appreciated that. Great location to everything without having to stay in Flagstaff proper or Williams.

What a nice, quiet home set up with everything we needed! The fenced yard was even Chihuahua proof! It’s really close to Flagstaff but far enough away that it’s quiet. Really nice neighborhood near a park with a pond.

Grand Canyon visit

The property was beautiful, well kept, and in a good quiet neighborhood! Perfect for families with or without dogs! The kitchen, bathrooms and linens were all fully stocked and neatly organized.

Quiet and relaxing

I took my Mother and my Aunt for a girls weekend. This house was Clean, Quiet, and comfortable. There is not much in the town of Bellemont so we had to drive about 20 to get to Flagstaff for dinner and shopping needs but we were ok with that. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Family Getaway to See Our Kids

The home owners were more than responsive. My husband and I have been looking for a go to VRBO to regularly come to Flagstaff to see our kids. This spot hit every point including pet friend. lyOur fur babies felt at home. We will be back. Thank you Corey and Renee :)

Amazing for Family!

Very clean house set up so perfectly for a family with small children! Things were already baby proofed and anything you need is there! Our kids and dog had a great time playing in the backyard in the snow and they had sleds there already for us!

Snowbowl snowboarding stay

This place was nice and cozy, a good place to relax after a long day of snowboarding. Bed is comfy and I even took a nap in the couch also comfy. Some games for quick fun and play during dinner. Location is nice and safe with a lot of things on the way from the slopes to grab and eat

This house is great for families! The baby-proofing was unlike any rental we've previously experienced. Not only were there baby gates but also outlet covers and meticulous was care taken to avoid anything dangerous on lower areas for young ones. There were also amenities provided such as a pack n play and high chair, books and toys. Wonderful and well thought out. The house was clean and comfortable, with good communication on check out and rules (without it being too aggresive or bothersome) I would highly recommend!

Such a cute home in a lovely neighborhood. Enjoyed walking through the forest which can be accessed via a gate just a short walk from the home. Backyard was beautiful, safe and secure for our dogs. Neighbors were friendly. Would definitely stay and recommend the home in Bellemont!

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood

We had a very comfortable stay. The house was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. Although it was about 17 mins drive from the center of Flagstaff it was an easy ride to do and see all there is to see in Flagstaff area. Owner communicated well with us.

Some issues

Toilet seats are too small for the toilets, making the standard height toilets seem even smaller than they are. No door between primary bedroom and adjoining bathroom so can't really have dark bedroom. No bath soap or shower gel when we arrived, so luckily we had brought some until we could buy more. Don't recall being advised to bring that. Trash bin does not empty completely. There was only room for our 1 kitchen size bag of trash in the bin when we put it out for pickup. Even after the truck came, the bin was still half full of stuff. Right front single burner does not work. Before we arrived someone had put some dirty knives in the steak knife area of the butcher block. No grocery store in the neighborhood, just large truck stop + fast food x 2. Remotes needed new batteries which I purchased.

Just what we needed

We came to the Flagstaff area to climb Humphrey’s Peak and visit the Grand Canyon. This house served our needs well. Having a garage to unload was very helpful and our daughters enjoyed watching on the large living room TV.

Renee and I were born and raised in Tucson, AZ. We moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University. We lived in Flagstaff for nearly 15 years before moving back to Tucson.

In 2004 Renee and I decided to purchase the Ice Cave house. The house was used as a primary residence until 2013 when we decided to convert the house into a vacation rental. The location is ideal for visitors heading to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, or Northern Arizona University.

Our home is perfect for families with small kids that need baby gates, strollers, high chairs, and a pack-n-play. The house is baby proofed with all breakable items out of the reach of young children. We also welcome dogs with an applicable fee.
