Courtside 51 - Updated Delightful Townhouse

Courtside 51 is a two-story townhouse, one flight above street level. The complex is 1.5 blocks from the beach and next door to Van Der Meer Tennis Center. A special membership with Van der Meer provides Courtside guests with tennis privileges up to one hour per day per condo. This community has two on-site pools, a lagoon with fountain, and parking at the front door of each property. Courtside is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Courtside 51 has a HD Flat Screen in the living room w/Blue Ray. King bed in master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, living room has sleeper sofa.

Great family get away

We had a great time staying here. It was clean and spacious and a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future. My kids really enjoyed the pool.

Graduation Celebration

Rental was as described in the listing. The place was clean, beds were comfy, and my mom, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the beach wagon to carry all of our things to the beach, which was about a 5 minute walk straight from the condo.

Plenty of room for the kids and Wi-Fi as a must. The pool was also nice, we did not think we would use it given the beach and all, but it was nice for a bit of time here and there.

HHI!

This unit is all about the location. Canā€™t beat the access to beach and Coligny area. The unit itself is dated. Upstairs carpet is dirty and worn, I wouldnā€™t walk on it barefoot. Upstairs bathrooms are dingy and dated, you donā€™t feel particularly clean getting out of the showers. But the main floor family room area is comfortable with lots of seating.

Great Place in HHI!

This was my family's first time in Hilton Head. We rented a place last minute and things couldn't have turned out better! Check-in was a breeze. The condo was in a great location. Easy to find and very clean. Although not on the beach, it is close to a beach access point and Coligny Plaza which has a grocery store, some shops and a few restaurants. As a family we were able to easily walk to dinner in Coligny Plaza and back a few times which was nice. Courtside 51 was fully equipped with everything we could have needed. It even had a highchair and pack n'play, which was an unexpected and nice surprise. We were very pleased with our experience!!

It was well equipped and was exactly as described. The property management staff went out of their way to be helpful, particularly in straightening out a booking error quickly and professionally. Our only suggestion would be the addition of a filler foam strip between the twin mattresses in the master bedroom.

Great location and facilities, quick walk to the beach

Thanks for all your support, the place was as we expected. I wish we could have gone straight to the condo instead of picking up the welcome package - but it's not a big deal. Beach walk is quick and brings you to not so crowded area of the beach.

Great stay..but a few suggestions

We rented an upstairs unit but aomehow received entrance codes to 2 units in the same building. My family set up in the downstairs unit. It was more dated but overalls worked fine. However I have 3 recommendations. 1. The broiler element in the oven does not work. 2. The mattress on the sofa bed is not suitable for anyone to sleep on! It is basically springs with a very thin fabric..Not even the 16 years old son would sleep on it..maybe provide a foam pad to put over it? 3. Lastly there are some VERY vocals creatures (frogs?) at night and the master sliding door has a significant gap where they overlap that allows outdoor sounds in as if it wasnā€™t there. I had a difficult time sleeping. I wedges a chair up against it and that helped some. It was not that loud in the living room which Is actually closer to the pond. With that being said we used the puzzles and books and the tv system was great. Thank you for a nice family vacation!

Beautiful beach at Hilton Head, wonderful time with great friends. Enjoyed staying at Courtside #51, very nice. Wish it had been a little closer to beach but made great memories!
