With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 511 enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and of Ocean One's greenspace, grilling area and oceanfront pool. 5th floor oceanfront condo sleeps up to 6 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, and a living room sleeper sofa. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property is beautifully furnished and has a spacious, renovated kitchen. The decor and outstanding views make Ocean One 511 a favorite among our repeat guests.

Lovely property - great location with beautiful beach views from the balcony. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views! All necessary amenities provided!Only concern was cleanliness of bathroom in secondary room -- not all was clean.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we had plumbing issues in both bathrooms. The screen door leading to the patio had been ripped. Two cushions were missing from the patio chairs. The recliner was very dirty. We had a swarm of bees outside our entrance door and a beekeeper had to come. There was a fire alarm at approximately 3:00am one morning and the fire department was dispatched.

Basic startup supplies we not around Also the bar next door played their extremely loud and lousy music almost all day, it took the beauty away from the patio.. I will definitely be back, but for a small investment this place could be over the top.

Perfect location

My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation on Hilton Head. The location of the property was near Coligny shops and restaurants and being right on the beach was wonderful! The condo had everything we needed for our stay.

Even though property is under reno, there was no problem parking and grounds were immaculate as always.The unit had been somewhat renovated, painted,new appliances except for dishwasher, builder grade and in rough shape. The kitchen was sparsely stocked, in need of additional glassware, and plates and silverware.Our biggest complaint was the utility closet. He looks of it made you not want to turn on.A/C.I would recommend this complex and unit, but would tell people what to expect been somewhat renovated

GREAT VIEW / BAD CONDO

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very outdated. The kitchen appliances were in bad condition and it looked like water damage on the kitchen walls. A pair of pliers had to be used to turn the clothes dryer on. You didn't know which setting you were getting on the dryer. The air vents were nasty. The place has not been maintained over the years. The ocean view and location were great. After talking with the people at the management company, I found out that the condo had not been scheduled for maintenance in approximately 2 years because it had been continuously booked. I'm not sure how much of this is on the management company or on the owner of the unit. The management company did get us a clean comforter and new iron and brought them to the unit. The outside grounds were nicely maintained.

We booked through Seashore Vacation and like always we are really satisfied with them. They are really helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

Reviewer Comments: Never been in a place as horrendous as this unit.we paid we paid $2800.00 for a week here and we received: horrible beds that probably never been replaced in 20 year, noisy and uncomfortable, stiff pillows, horrible furniture all over the house and patio. the couch was so dirty that we had to use a bed sheet on, we din't want to sit on it. the lamps in the bedroom had almost no lights and were dirty.the sink in the bathroom was rusty and cracked. we had 2 small pieces of soap, no shampoo for the whole week. the unit patio furniture was the old patio furniture that Ocean One was getting rid of. all broken. The tv was a simple old tv, internet not working in the bedroom.The kitchen ,god, the stove so old ,the furniture dirty and disgusting. i really feel we deserve a refund. Never again on this place.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dirty, not well maintained, fabric furniture in a beach apartment is poor taste, one of the blinds by the front door is a rolled up newspaper, dead bugs in closet where beach chairs are kept, everything is rusted, popcorn ceilings, no exhaust fans in bathrooms, the squeakiest beds on the planet, permanently stained toilets and bathtub, shower in the dark since both bathrooms have 0 light in shower areas, mold on shower curtain, beehive outside of master bedroom terrace. Wine opener is broken. Needs major updates, new terrace furniture, new furniture all around, recessed lighting, better blinds. Rust is also everywhere- in sinks, even the stove appliance. The fridge is great and so is the water pressure, but I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

Spacious condo with great ocean views

Condo with great location and views. The condo is in need of major renovations. The carpet and furniture are filthy. The walls around the oven and washer are rotten with clear water damage. The oven is rusted. The walls need painting. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced. To summarize, the entire condo needs to be renovated.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely top notch view. Couldn't be better. However, the condo is in need of updating and mattress replacement. Pool is very nice with multiple gas grills off to the side should you wish to do your own cooking. A plus/minus thing is that it is within easy walking distance of Coligny but you do hear the live outdoor music when outside (whether that is a plus or minus depends on what you are looking for. Seashore Vacations made the arrangements/process easy.

Nice location/views

The location and view was great. The place does need some updates. Carpet has stains bathroom door won’t close. Curtains in one bedroom won’t open or close.

NOT THIS UNIT!

Property location is amazing. This particular unit needs a lot of TLC. Molds in air vents/ceiling/bathroom. Cabinet door missing/carpet with stains/curtains in main bedroom falling down. Beds in second bedroom noisy with every movement. Bathroom fixture in main bathroom cracked and old. Patio furniture broken/old. Decor is very outdated. Front door lock problems locking at times. The unit is functional in the sense that it isn't dirty per say, but it needs a lot of updating/fixing. I was dissappointed in the upkeeping of this unit for the price. View is amazing! Management staff amazing. Love that it is right on the beach and central to everything.

Great location and view

Easy checkin and checkout. Great location close to lots of shops and restaurants. Loved the view, access to the beach, and pool. Unit was in need of updates, but overall satisfied our needs.

OVERALL PRETTY GOOD

Wonderful view of the beach and a quiet property. Enjoyed being close to shopping & grocery store. However, the tile floor blackened the bottoms of my feet within minutes! Rest of the apartment was clean, but, oh, that floor!
