Gorgeous beach house, and so well set up for a weekend away. The second shower is in the sauna, which took a bit for our group to find. We really appreciated the porch, the fire pit, the kayaks, and the outdoor games that were provided.

Just an incredible vacation house! Gorgeous views, stylish but comfortable, thoughtfully planned for everything you need for a beach house. Couldn’t recommend any higher!

We couldn't have had a better weekend if we tried. The property was absolutely amazing, sunset views are 10/10, and the house itself is stunning. I will definitely be returning to this house in the future!

My family (2 adults, 2 children) had a great stay at this property. It's been recently remodeled and was well stocked with amenities (well above average accommodations for a short term rental) and we were greeted with an unexpected but very nice welcome gift basket. The host was communicative from the time of booking until completion of our stay. The location on the shore of Lake Superior couldn't be beat, conveniently located about halfway between Munising and Marquette. Our kids enjoyed the private beach every day of our vacation. I would highly recommend a stay here, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the UP. Definitely one of the best short term rentals we've stayed in!

Traveled with family and young kids (ages 0-9). The home is beautiful - clean, organized, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything you need. The owners really went above and beyond to provide for guests, including a lovely welcome gift with local goods and snacks. It was an extra special touch to make our family feel welcome! The beach is 10/10, especially for kids - incredible views, soft sand and shallow shoreline. We enjoyed slow mornings kayaking and building sandcastles, and evenings playing yard games and sitting by the bonfire making s’mores. The sunsets and starry skies were some of the best we’ve seen. Great location for exploring Marquette in one direction and Pictured Rocks in the other. Will definitely try to stay here again when in the UP!

This is a fantastic place. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation. The sunsets looking out over Lake Superior were amazing. Highly recommend.

This was an absolutely breathtaking home and property. My family and I had the most wonderful experience here - from kayaking to rock hunting, fishing, and just taking in the beauty of the surroundings, this was truly the most memorable trip we have had. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything (and more!) and are quick to be reached if needed. We can’t wait to go back - our kids insisted we make this place an annual tradition.

We were so impressed with this property. It is the most beautiful, peaceful location and the house has so much character and charm. We enjoyed the kayaks and had a blast walking the beach. The host is very responsive and accommodating. They thought of every little detail! They even had a smores kit, coozies and personal note ready for us when we arrived. We cant wait to go back!!

We had a very relaxing stay at this house. The sound of the waves was pleasant - we could not have asked for a better location for our young children (5 and 6) to be able to play on the beach and wade into Lake Superior and the adjacent river. They were thrilled. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed. It was comfortable, clean, up to date and spacious.

The Perfect Vacation Rental

We have stayed in dozens of vaction rentals over the years and this was, by far, the best. From the gorgeously appointed house to the spectacular views and activities, I was truly impressed. The house was spotless and well organized. Thought was taken to consider a renter's every possible need. Thank you for giving us a dream vacation with our kids and granddaughter!

The home and property is beautiful and comes fully equipped with every amenity you could possibly think of. We wish we had more time to explore the river with all of the equipment provided. The only bummer was a little bit of road noise which prevented us from sleeping with the windows open to listen to the water. Other than that we could not have asked for a better home and location!

The house itself is beautiful! The views of Lake Superior are stunning and it was fun to watch them dynamically change by the minute. The home is filled with tons of small extra amenities. They really thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay. The ice cleats and snow shoes were extra wonderful to have for our winter hiking. We went to multiple of their suggested places to eat and visit -they were all fantastic! The location of the house was super convenient. A central spot between Marquette and Munising. We didn’t have to drive far for anything we wanted to do. There was such helpful and kind communication by the host as well. 10 out of 10! We’re hoping to come back in the warmer months sometime!

We had an absolute 11/10 stay here for my bachelor party. It could not have been a better experience.The property exceeded expectations in every way. It is fully stocked with everything you need, whether you are cooking, relaxing, or planning activities. The space and layout made it perfect for a group.The beachfront is honestly unbelievable. It feels like you have your own private beach with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. It was peaceful, scenic, and a highlight of the trip.The sauna was incredible and a huge bonus, especially after long days outside. The beds were also very comfortable, which made it easy for everyone to relax and get a good night’s sleep.Check-in was easy, and the owner was great to work with. She was very responsive, easy to contact, and quick to help with anything we needed. The handwritten note waiting for us upon arrival was a thoughtful touch and showed how much Amy goes above and beyond.The location is also excellent. It is about 5 minutes from a casino and around 20 minutes from downtown Marquette, so you get both convenience and privacy.If you are planning a trip to the UP, this is the place to stay. I would not consider anywhere else. Rent this VRBO.
