Absolutely the most beautiful villa in Bayou Village with a GOLF CART included! This stunning residence has undergone a complete renovation with custom finishes and tasteful furnishings that reflect the colors of the sea. “Relaxing and peaceful” in every way describes this residence.

Our gourmet kitchen makes it a pleasure to prepare and serve family meals. The stylish dining room offers seating for six guests. For the chef in the family, there is an outdoor barbecue grill. With cushy seating and a new 55” flat screen, the family room is comfortable and inviting! There is even a sleeper sofa for unexpected guests along with upgraded HDTV cable service and WIFI. For a truly relaxing afternoon, stretch out on a chaise lounge chair on the screened porch and take in a remarkable lake view.

The sunken master bedroom suite offers a king bed with fine linens, a flat screen television, generous closet space and a lovely lake view. There is access to a private patio just outside the master suite. The master bathroom is designed with an oversize walk in shower, custom tile design, and plenty of granite countertop space.

The guest bedroom features two full size beds with fresh linens and a flat screen television. The guest bathroom offers a bathtub-shower combination and a granite countertop. There is a full laundry room with washer, dryer, and ironing board set up.

The location of this property makes it extra perfect! Bayou Village overlooks a scenic pond and offers a view of Choctawatchee Bay, the Marina, and the Wharf. This is a wonderful spot to watch the fireworks show! There are two swimming pools that you are welcome to use while vacationing in our villa. Catch and release fishing is allowed in most of the lakes and ponds at the Resort. Enjoy this exceptional villa at Bayou Village!

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

NOTE: The total reservation cost includes the nightly rate, clean fee, damage waiver, transportation fee (for select properties), processing fee and tax. By requesting a quote for this property, you agree to be added to our email subscription list.

Excellent choice for a home away from home

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our families needs. Our girls loved sharing a room, but enjoyed each having their own bed. The master was huge and had a great view. We cooked several meals in the house and the kitchen had all the cookware we needed. The gold cart was great getting around in Sandestin. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great vacation!

Much needed relaxing vaca

This was a great week, at a great, family friendly place. Had a great time, just a short way from the beach. Good pool access, pickle ball, shopping, and golf. Not fancy, but a great place for our needs!

We enjoyed the location of the property and the golf cart to scoot all around! As advertised on VRBO, clean and worked really well for our small family! Our boys enjoyed fishing out back!

Peaceful and relaxing

What a great place to stay ! We absolutely loved everything about this property . As much as we love the beach , it is so nice to be able to retreat into the quiet neighborhood at the end of the day. It's about a 5 minute ride on the golf cart back and forth . We will without a doubt be returning in the future !

Nice getaway

Cute and cozy place. The best part was the golf cart and being able to get to everything so easily- the beach and Baytown Wharf. The master bed is definitely too soft and the walls and cabinets need a good cleaning, but everything was good and clean. Wished we would have brought fishing poles, it would have made the trip even better. Not bad for a rainy beach vacation. I recommend and would stay again.

Great weekend

Had a great weekend. Convenient location. Unit had everything needed. Parking was different because of the unit next door. There are no lines so they were unaware of proper parking but we made it work. Overall great stay and in comfort.

Dated but comfortable , no major issues but bring your essentials. Communication was good but someone in the cleaning crew smoked because there was the smoke smell when we entered. Would rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed multiple times at Sandestin and 4 times at 657 Bayou. Time for an update in the unit. Beds are super soft, living room VERY dusty and furniture is old. Dryer never shuts off, fire hazard! Kitchen well stocked, nice golf cart and unit is spacious. Staff is very friendly and responsive. We caught 5 little lizards in the unit, not sure how that many get in? Sandestin is an awesome resort and we love it, this time the unit just wasn't in the same condition as we have had in the past.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay in this unit. Love the location. Unit is very roomy and clean. Our only complaint would be the turtle speed golf cart. We called and asked maintenance to look at it as we were being passed by other golf carts and bicycles. No return call, had to call them. Said it was just a slow cart. We took it out for 5 minutes and it dropped 3 bars on the battery. Ended up not using it as it was a hazard, super disappointed. Lower star rating due to response about cart and the condition of cart. Would recommend unless you want a cart.

June 2019 stay

I was on the property for a conference, but my husband and 21 month old tagged alone for the week and it was perfect. He was IN LOVE with the golf cart and it was so nice to use to get to the wharf and the shopping center near us. Having the golf cart as part of the rental is a total win. The grounds of San Destin are beautiful as well. Would love to come back during the off season. The inside of the condo was very clean and well stocked. Some reviews complained about minimal supplies, but I’m accustomed to that with vrbos. After the first night or so I mentioned the beds were a little uncomfortable and squeaky and they had maintenance out that day to tighten the headboard and then the following day memory foam mattress toppers arrived to our surprise for ALL of the beds, made a world of difference especially with a wild toddler in bed. Will gladly return

My husband and I have been unable to do a family vacation with our daughters due to military restrictions, deployments and work up cycles. In December we will be moving down to Destin for work and just thought we would find a condo to vacation while still knock out looking at houses. Through our stay our eyes were opened and we absolutely fell in love with this community so much so that we are looking for a home in this area! This condo is in a prime location. Wonderful mix of relaxation and amenities. The golf cart was an excellent addition to transport the fam and explore this area. The beach, pools, grocery store, restaurants and shopping are all accessible via cart. The condo was clean and well stocked with cookware. Yes, you do have to bring your own seasonings and some other miscellaneous items but growing up in CA this was standard in every beach house I ever stayed at it AND you had to bring your cookware so having all the utensils/pots/pans and more really was a nice addition. The property manager went above and beyond to clearly communicate with us and ensure we had a great stay. In case you can’t tell by now, I HIGHLY recommend this property.

The golf cart was a must, which is why we chose this condo to begin with, it did not disappoint! Condo was clean. Furniture is a little old and kind of dingy looking but was fine for us, patio furniture needs work, bolts falling out. Overall a fantastic week!

In a great area

The amenities in the home were a bit lacking- had to buy all our supplies tp, laundry soap, body soap, shampoo, etc.- and things definitely need to be updated. The furniture is a bit over dirty, the floors were dirty, the window coverings hang off the windows, the beds are way to soft, the door to the home is covered with bugs. We spent the first two days trying to get things around the house fixed, namely the golf cart and charging station. I will say the management company was very responsive and kind and got things taken care of. The golf cart is really the main way to get around sandestin, which is very fun, but not so much if it is not working properly. The sink was also clogged and the disposal did not work. But the kitchen is well equipped and the area and location is amazing! It could not have more fun things to do and the whole family had a blast. This home would be a 5 star with some TLC and a little less scrooge on the supplies/towels.

March 2023 Stay

Had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the condo. Had everything we needed. Our family loved the golf cart to get over to the beach, pools, Baytowne Wharf, and the basketball courts! The management company was very prompt and attended to our needs. Very happy and will be back to Sandestin!

Drapes in the living room and bedroom need some work to operate smoothly. Enjoyed the setting near the lake. We used the electric BBQ grill quite a bit.
